  1. Hello, guys! A few months ago I came back to modding after a few years without touching the CK. The first two mods I worked on were Domus Imperatoris (a remake of my original mod for Oldrim) and Witcher Furniture, and earlier this week I released Random Guard Dialogues. I'd like an opinion on them, and suggestions as well. I will also talk about what I'm working on for Domus Imperatoris. Now that xVA-Synth is out, I got excited and released this mod about guard dialogues. It's a simple mod that adds more random lines of dialogues for guards when you approach or talk to them, to make the game more entertaining and funny. I will keep working on this mod, but for now I'm focusing on Domus Imperatoris, my main mod. The version of Domus Imperatoris I'm working on is a remake - not a port - of my original mod for Oldrim. It aims to make the Pelagius Wing usable and liveable. I used xVA-Synth to give Falk Firebeard voiced dialogues in lines that were previously voiceless. I'm also using the synthesizer to give more personality to Jordis, the Haafingar housecarl. Since I'm using a synthesizer for her voice, some lines are a bit wonky and have a not-so-good audio quality. I'd like to know if there are voice actresses out there that are willing to help me give her a unique voice and more personality. I would also love to receive suggestions and ideas as to what her personality should be like. Zora Fair-Child is one of my favorite characters from Interesting NPCs, and I for some reason I thought Jordis should have a similtar personality. I don't her to be a just a housecarl. Some progression would be interesting, just like iNPCs does. Starting off as a housecarl, adventuring together, doing quests, becoming friends and eventually getting married if they start loving each other. Bottom line, I'd like to make her an interesting, tri-dimensional character. Are there people willing to help me achieve this goal? And, of course, to test the mod? Thank you! o/
  2. It's been two years, don't know if you managed to fix this. But I'm having the same issues with a few beds. The beds are slightly lower than the vanilla beds, and instead of sleeping on the actual bed, the actor floats, and sleeps above it. I imagine the fix is the same for both issues, I haven't found a way to make this work. One of the beds is a mattress. I expected the same behavior from bedrolls, but instead the actor just floats. The sleep markers are placed correctly, and the collision meshes are also in place. Still, it doesn't work.
  3. Hello, Matthieaswagg. Well, currently, the project I'm working on is Domus Imperatoris. The "something else" you mentioned would be Mining Guild. These two are the only open projects I have atm, and I plan to complete Domus Imperatoris and then getting back to developing Mining Guild. Once both projects are complete, I might create another one, or join a project. Anyway, my goal here is to make a team. Not for one project, but for any project that comes to our minds.
  4. Hello, guys! Well, I got two projects on the go, and I have a small team with a few writers and a programmer. I had two concept artists, but one of them gave up and the other one... died. Well, she just disappeared. Anyway, I'm now in need of concept artists to project stuff and 3D modelers to actually make the models. If you're interested, please PM me. One of my projects, the Mining Guild, used to be hosted here, but I had to stop development for a few months and it's not longer being hosted, but perhaps you've heard of it. The project I'm working on right now is much smaller than MG, and it's a project I started in 2013 which was completed. But I decided to add some stuff to it and make it better. Once I finish Domus Imperatoris, I'll get back to developing Mining Guild. The artist that stopped answering made a few drawings, and they're awesome.   5. What's up? So, Ahmad is in need of a new voice actor... Vulon, the original voice actor, is busy with Beyond Skyrim and can't record any more lines for Ahmad, which made me come here to ask for a new voice actor. :sad: Let me tell you about Ahmad; Ahmad is a Redguard warrior that comes from Hammerfell. He's a mercenary, a tough one, and was designated by Elisif to be the Dragonborn's bodyguard. He says whatever he wants to say when he wants to say it... he's one of those "screw it" types, haha. He has a deep voice, much like Nazir's (from Skyrim's Dark Brotherhood). He's a strong warrior capable of casting spells like Healing, Heal Other and other conjuration spells. He's also able to Shout. If you want to know more about him and/or check his mod out, click here and/or here. PS: Domus Imperatoris contains an older version of Ahmad, with more interactions, but more buggy and with the standard Redguard clothing. The new version has yet to be completed, but it's more stable. The lines recorded by the new voice actors will serve for both Ahmad as a standalone follower and Domus Imperatoris, which will be updated very soon. Here are a few samples of Ahmad's original voice.   6. Well, hello! I'm trying to "create" a new crafting category by changing the name of those sGenericCraftKeywordName settings (yes, I know 7 are being used by Hearthfire, but this was just a test). You can see in the pics that I did everything right. I checked every single of those items in Hearthfires.esm, and I did exactly as Beth did. But yet my piece of armor is shown in the MISC category, instead of showing in the RUNE category (the one I created). What am I doing wrong? Can anyone help me out here? Thanks.
  7. I was taking a look at the "Voice Actors of Skyrim" topic, but no one there said anything about being an orc. Poor beasts, huh? No one wants to voice them... haha Anyway, I still need a voice actor for an orc. That grave and hoarse voice... can anyone do it? If so, and if you are interested, please PM me. Thanks!

  9. Well, Mining Guild, as the name already says it, is a new guild for miners. I bet you're like "no s#*!, Sherlock?". Well, the main goal was to bring RuneScape's main guilds to Skyrim, and Mining Guild is one of them. The mod is still on its beta release. You won't find bugs, but you won't find big features as well. This is why I need some help. I plan to make this mod huge. Quests, NPCs, features and everything. But for that, I will need a team. You can check the mod's page here. Besides the users' suggestions and bug reports, the mod needs a team to make it reach its best. The mod needs someone creative to help write the quests and the NPCs' dialogues. And, of course, someone with some experience in scripting to make the quests. I'm still learning Papyrus and have veeeeeeeeery little experience. The best I could do was the unique items stands and scripts for Domus Imperatoris. Currently, I'm just designing levels and NPCs. Speaking of which... the NPCs need personality. And a voice. How the heck are they supposed to talk and be unique without a voice, huh? Summarizing, Mining Guild needs a few voice actors (you can see the NPCs by installing the mod and see who fits you better), someone to help create the quests and someone to actually make the quests. If you are willing to help, please gimme a heads up. If you don't want to be a member of the team but still want to play the mod, please help by reporting bugs and suggesting new features. You will help a lot just by suggesting things and telling us what's wrong.
  10. Hey! I want to know how to make voiced shouts. I mean, newly-created shouts have no sound, they just... happen. I have some recordings here, and a custom NPC. He shouts without shouting, if you catch my meaning. Even if I create a new shout using regular words such as "fo kra diin", the character won't pronounce the words, he'll just cast the power. I searched eveywhere in the CK and found nothing related to this. I even tried creating a new soundtrack with the recording, but I have no clue how to link the recording and the shout itself.
  11. Hello, everyone! Well, I need a female voice actor for my mod. For those who don't know, it's called the Emperor Wing. Well, Ahmad got a new voice (thanks to Vulon), but Geronima still needs her own voice. And, if possible, Sedridor too. If you want to help, just PM me with a link with an audio file that has your voice recorded. I'm planning on making some quests for this mod, but to have complete quests, the NPCs need good voices. If you have suggestions (like features, a possible quest or anything), don't hesitate to tell me. Suggestions are welcome. I need someone with some experience in scripting too.   14. I made some conjuring spells, and they worked pretty well. I used as a template that Dark Brotherhood spell to summon Lucien. Open the magic effect for that spell and change Assoc. Item 1 from DBSpectralAssassin to your NPC (it needs to be set as a summonable NPC, of course). Then hit ok and save the changes. You spell should work now, and your follower shouldn't moan anymore. If this doesn't work, check the factions and scripts you've added to your NPC. It should have no factions and no scripts (or a ghost script) to be a regular summonable follower.
