I had this problem too with my nightingale hood! XD Now I know what the problem is! But I like how I can conceal my identity since I am a thief so I can kill someone without anyone knowing who really did it since they don't know my identity! Pretty cool feature that I think I am going to keep. It does get annoying when I have to unequip my hood to talk to someone all the time! XD

me too! I'm trying to install Skyrim Beautiful follower:http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/37861/? this mod is great too but when I install this mod her face is the same except from her neck to the head the skin color is light red and none of her face features change :(
