  1. I noticed that when you endorse a mod, the number of endorsements changes to "NaN" until you refresh the page. Not sure if it's something with the new UI but I thought I'd point it out anyways.
  2. In response to post #7505960. #7505975, #7506011 are all replies on the same post. I'm pretty sure he's not actually posting it twice. I think this has something to do with the backend of these posts and comments being tied to the forums. If I'm not mistaken this page pulls the thread information and throws a new skin on it using the first post as the actual article text.
  3. Alright Dark0ne, you've convinced me. I totally forgot that this site does run almost entirely on ad revenue. I'll be allowing every kind of ad you can throw at me if it keeps this place afloat, and I'll make a Supporter donation as well. That Wikipedia-esque "If everyone who used this site..." is pretty powerful, and I encourage everyone else to help make that a possibility.
  4. Skyrim has been sketchy all day today as well.
  5. Looks like the Skyrim server is down (or severely crippled) as well.
  6. Yeah, so I've learned recently. I switched over to an AMD card when they were the only ones with GDDR5 and I've noticed many more issues than before. Oh well, thanks a lot for your help!
  7. Yes, I did try validating them, but then I found out it happened in all of my other games as well, so I used DriverSweeper and rolled back from the 12.1a Preview drivers to the official 11.12 drivers, and that seems to have fixed it. I wish I did remember the error code, but I was too stupid to screencap it. With 8GB of RAM the Virtual Memory page says I have 8175MB allocated, is that enough?
  8. I'm starting to get pissed at this game, this is the 4th time it's completely wrecked itself. I was playing merrily and at a loading screen it was taking longer than usual (past a minute moving into a shop), then I got this weird "virtual memory" popup error and CTD. Now whenever I boot up the game (even to the main menu), all the textures are loaded as if they've been set to low. So I rebooted, logged into my admin account, killed all my startup programs and whatnot, deleted the INIs, and disabled all my mods through MO; at this point it's essentially a Vanilla copy of the game. I let the launcher auto-detect me to Ultra, ran the game, but I'm still having the same issue. Any ideas? Core i5 2500k @ 3.6Ghz 8GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600Mhz AMD Radeon 6870 DirectCU @ 950/1150Mhz EDIT: Apparently Skyrim didn't just kill itself, it took all my games with it. Battlefield 3, Guild Wars, Batman, and Metro 2033 all have the same issue.
  9. There are already image replacements, and the rest of the UI seems pretty changeable, even at this stage (e.g. SkyUI and QD Inventory), so like PR4Y said, just wait for the CK, there's going to be a bonanza when it hits. I can't believe they're holding the modding community back this long so they can get Steamworks integrated and kill the Nexus (unless they genuinely haven't finished it yet).
  10. Alright, so I decided to just reinstall the game and now I'm having a different issue... When I first load a save I'll have ~15 FPS, but then if I Alt-Tab out and back in, the FPS jumps to 40+. It doesn't work every time, but if I restart the game a couple of times, eventually Alt-Tabbing will bring my FPS back up. Edit: Also, sometimes the game will "load forever" unless I Ctrl+Alt+Del out of the game, but after a few seconds it comes back up to the loaded game with low FPS.
  11. I disabled UAC and stole my drive back from TrustedInstaller as soon as I installed Win7, so I doubt any file ownership issues caused it, but I'll check to make sure I still own the Steam folder. I haven't edited my .ini's in the last few days, but I'll be sure to give that a shot too. Thanks for the suggestions and I'll report back when I've tested them at home :wallbash:
  12. It's definitely not a problem with the vanilla game since they haven't been like this until now, it must have happened some time last night as I was putting in new textures. I honestly have no idea what mods are currently active since they're all just texture files and I've been overlapping some, which may be one of my major problems. Aside from the various "HD-this-and-that" textures, I only have the 4GB Enabler, FXAA Injector, and ENBSeries mods installed, but I didn't think any of these would cause the problem since they just affect the post-processing (I think). I've tried running the game after removing (renaming) the Textures and Interface folders as well as the DLLs used by the various mods, but it still happens. If worst comes to worst, I guess I'll have to start organizing my mods folders and checking everything I install (like I should already), oh well.
  13. Even without a modded Textures folder most of the ground and building textures (haven't seen it on items yet) have very sharp edges and won't blend properly. For instance, hedges on walls are a solid hedge texture in a blocky shape on top of the wall texture. The same happens on the ground, the edges of pathways that are supposed to look less traveled on have very distinct and sharp edges with the actual pavement of the path. Before I go and reinstall the game and mods completely I was hoping there might be a simpler answer, so here I am . I'd post some example screenshots, but I'm currently on my cellphone, however if they're really needed I can in a couple hours. Thanks in advanced!
