this isn't a mod request threadI need someone to add diving and swimming in Red Dead 2, please

Please don't copy and paste images directly into the editor. This is not supported. Unfortunately, the editor we use seems to have no way of preventing it.
I see this explains why it looks like it works, when it doesn't!
Imgur it is then:(
Does this count as using social media? I don't want to become 'hip'
diziet
yes this technically counts as social media.

Milk drinker is an insult from the real world medieval period. It's basically calling someone a child. The point being that adults didn't drink milk, only children.
-
And that one is?

We cannot port a mod without the authors permission
-
Wouldn't blocking tags and the authors you don't want to see their content from already do that?
I'll take "not reading the post" for $1000 Daily Double, Alex
I do agree this would be a nice feature, but it presents all kinds of technical challenges we need to address.
We've made some changes to the site to offset it, but querying mods for users with a tonne of blocked tags/authors is an incredibly heavy request. Allowing individual mods to be blocked would make the request more specific and increase the time it takes to process.
We can move the filter controls to the "front end" meaning that the search will load all results and your browser will figure out which items to actually show, but this would prevent mod results from being properly paginated - so you'd ask for the "first 20 mods for New Vegas" and after filters that page may have 12 mods on it, moving to page 2 you may have 3 results, etc.
In short, it's something that would be super cool, but to do it well at the scale of this site requires significant planning.
My HOSTS file is about 4mb due to having a few million IP addresses in it, my HOSTS resolve takes more than a few seconds, personally I don't mind waiting a few seconds for the server too process a per-user list. PornHub has this exact feature and their servers seem to handle it just fine.
Another thing that may be worthwhile is having a NexusMods browser extension with these features, since you mentioned frontend. Reddit has RES, which does all sorts of stuff client-side rather than serverside.
As many note, Reddit's serverside handles are just a vast fustercluck.
Pornhub makes a lot more money than the Nexus does dude

you should start Skyrim via vortex. Mostly because of SKSE if you end up using it, but you don't have to
-
what manager are you using?
-
are you using Vortex?

You make it sound like you guys don't have a super mega awesome supercomputer control room for managing this stuff! Almost as if its just an office full of dedicated, hard-working British nerds or something.

The dlc order is irrelevant as long as they are below update and skyrim

Yeah. A good example of the current limitations is that of Niro. He makes gun and armor mods. If someone just wants to not see his armor mods they will lose the guns by blocking him. If Niro failed to properly tag his mods then it won't filter all of them correctly. Not to mention hide other armor mods the user may actually want.
-
I support this idea. Having a proper tool instead of a work around and relying on users to properly tag their mods would be fantastic.
-
You don't have to do anything with them.

That's the download arrow dude

Strange coming from some one who owes their life to a penisProbably because there's more interesting things to do, like play the game and follow the storyline rather than just looking at your dick the entire time?
What you on about? HTR spontaneously appeared one day.

I have absolutely no idea of what you're talking about.
Are you talking about a specific mod? the game? what?
What hotfix? what is the hotfix for?
What is the "it" you're trying to get in working condition?
The Frontier mod... He put it in the tags and failed to mention it anywhere else. *facepalms*

uh yeah... go through the Blizzard account recovery process. Changing your Steam password should be enough to prevent any issues there as well.

Hi new here and i hope this is the right place to post this topic.
But where do i post requests to get a moder to help making a mod?
Specifically what i am looking for is basically help in creating a Danish subtitle mod for Wing Commander 3,4 and Prophecy.
In the games subforum. Larger games have dedicated request forums others don't.

Click on "The Nexus Forums" under your username in the top left. Scroll to the bottom of the page and look at the active user list. Message any of the green names

I suggest reading the last 7 words of the message

You should be able to stream just fine. Vortex just manages the mods it doesn't run the game.

I could try taking a look later. I'll get back to you

After moving to Windows 10, my Steam copy of Fallout 3 stopped working, and no amount of fixes could remedy it. So I bought it on GoG, which works perfectly. But now I must begin the modding process anew.
To that end, I'm wondering, what mod manager should I use?
I used NMM back in the day, and that worked out fine. Now I hear that Mod Organizer 2 is the new hotness, but I tried to use that to mod New Vegas, and it simply did not work for me. I would probably just use Vortex, but that one seemed to have a problem with large Oblivion mods, and Oblivion and Fallout 3 have always been similar in pain-in-the-ass quotient. Fallout Mod Manager is still one of the top downloads on the Nexus, but it is old as hell and seems like it would be obsolete.
So I put it to the experts. Which one should I use?
Use Vortex (the most popular mod manager) or FOMM. Either works fine for FO3 and have tons of support to work with. I suggest vortex though for thd simple fact it works for a massive number of games so you will only need one manaher installed instead of several. Though FOMM is alright though kinda wonky and the UI is dated to hell but it works well enough.

It's big service in my opinion. It's also a one-time payment that gets you no ads and increases your speed a little of a bigger one-time payment that removes ads and uncaps the speed for life. On top of that the ads don't pay out much at all.
