  1. I finally figured out (with some help) how to make an object appear with the use of an activator. In this case lighting a fireplace. However this method only allows me to click the activator, then the fire goes on but the activator disappears. How can I make it so the activator doesn't disappear and allows me to turn the object off again? I have to make use of scripts that are already in CK as I develop mods for all platforms including ps4.
  2. Hi all, So I'm working on a survival cave player home and am nearly finished. The final piece of the puzzle is to have a unique power system. Part of this system is to have an npc like a feral ghoul or molerat run on a conveyer belt, providing power to the cave. I have it all working, the conveyer belt is working and the actual power is provided by a switchbox (it was the best choice and in game it looks as if the conveyer is doing it the way I set it up). I have one problem though and I hope someone here can help me out. I can't seem to get the npc to stay in place while running. Matter of fact he just stands still and as soon as the conveyer belt is turned on he goes backwards and falls off. I've tried idle markers and messed around with the ai package a bit but it doesn't seem to have any effect. Now I want to make this mod available to all platforms including ps4 (the only way for me to play and test fo4 until I saved up for a good game pc) so I can't use custom scripting. Can someone help me out with this?
  3. It worked! I just copied the mesh from the secret door to the door activator I found. Man I wasted two weeks on this. Thanks anyway
  4. I will try that thank you. I hope this works as I've been at it for two weeks now. I looked under activators and only found on activator called secretdoor. The question is how to I link that to the door?
  5. Hi all, this is my first post here. I have been learning creation kit for a bit now and almost finished the first secret player bunker mod. I have one problem that I can't seem to figure out. I hope someone will help me with this as it is the final piece of the mod. I want to add the secret door object, the "door" that looks like a wall but slides to two sides when triggered. It's the same one found at the FourLeafClover factory revealing the secret chemlab. There the door is triggered by tripwire and a terminal. I checked the settings and am able to replicate that. However I don't want to do that. What I want is for the secret wall to open when clicking on it. There is a mod put there that adds secret doors like this to the workshop but its not on nexus so I cant open it in CK and look. But that does tell me it should be simple to do. Can someone please explain to me what i'm missing and how to get this door to work? Thank you so much in advance. p.s. I want this to work on pc, xbox AND ps4 so no new scripts can be added.
