  1. Has anyone attempted to add alternate weapon sight mods to the minigun? I really don't like the gunner sight. I'm wonder if someone tried and ran into trouble because of the weapons size or placement of the sight picture?
  2. I actually made this mod a week or two after I asked for it. You can search LibertyBeQuiet on the nexus.
  3. Could someone figure out how to put on a better sight then the vanilla minigun sight? I was thinking that the Dot or Hex sight would be really nice as an addition to the weapon smithing category. The vanilla sight is just awful. Alternately, if the vanilla sight were improved somniehow. Perhaps covered in glass, with a glow reticle (dot, circle, carat) painted in the center of the sight picture. The carat reticle like on an ACOG sight would be particularly awesome. Is there already a mod which does this?
  4. I know it's probably not likely to happen until more official modding tools are available, but I'd like the walls (and prefab corner walls), fences, carpets, flooring, roofing etc to be able to precisely self-connect edge to edge on four angles at the corners, instead of only one way. It was pretty irritating when I found out that wall pieces and corners only snapped in place in one direction. That is pretty much a travesty, and made it a nightmare to get anything to look right. You really should be able to have wall panels stick together backwards or at right angles if you want. Also, for working around non-removable world objects, having prefab corners that only snap into position in one direction can really screw up a design plan. Lastly, the stairs.. oh my god, the stairs.. There are only 2 types that connect to a preset second level floor height, based on the height of the prefab walls and flooring/second floor flooring. Base building is an awesome idea, but nearly broken for these reasons and awfully made. Needs an overhaul!

  6. Or hook me up with a tutorial link. I'm sure it just has to do with editing the sound file to have a lower gain or something like that, yet I still have no clue how to extract or replace the file without a GECK.
  7. Can someone make liberty primes footsteps way way quieter, or make no sound altogether? I'm trying to build up a nice base near the airport post-main mission and he's annoying the crap out of my ears. I'd do it myself, but I admit that I'm a bit helpless without a geck.
  8. Ok the solution for automatic weapons - set ammo regen to say .01 (1 ammo per 1/100th sec will regen, adjust at leisure) and you wont have to spawn any ammo types as well. set clip size to 100 or so depending on adjustments. I put mine at 255 and it never moves down at this setting effectively giving infinite ammo and no reloads for the weapon this is set for. hope it helps!
  9. I have noticed the same problem. Good to know it's only for automatics. I'm thinking it has something to do with the fact that VATS uses multiple shots/ammo for each VATS attack. I'm kind of brainstorming on a possible solution, but I'm not that experienced in the GECK functions, besides modding weapons and armor yet. Important to note that having enough ammo in your inventory doesn't affect the crashes, nor does it stop the crash if you have no ammo and hit VATS. Have you considered using the ammo regen effect instead of 0 ammo use?
  10. what fixed this problem for me was to make sure (like it says in the description, oops!) that the unofficial dragonborn patch is above the unofficial skyrim patch in load order but below the other unofficial patches AT THE TOP OF THE LIST. it works fine like that took me a lot of tinkering to fix this hope it helps. you can read the exact order if you look up the dragonborn patch notes
