  1. I haven't played skyrim SE in a few months and just fresh installed 1.5.80 with skse64 2.0.16. I've used these mods in the past and have never had issues, they are the latest versions. Game boots up but I crash on a New Game or any Load. I've been trying to tackle this for 4 days now and I'm about to pull my hair out. Sorted with LOOT. Load Order: Windows 7NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti6 GB Ram Any thoughts? Please!
  2. Do they exist? My searches haven't yielded any results, which sucks. I have high res replacers for silver and pewter clutter, but clay objects look horrendous. It's like they took an unfinished clay project and threw it in an oven and called it a day. I'm surprised no one's done a retexture yet. Since it is clay, you could really go all out on colors or paint and such. I'd try it myself but I know nothing about retexturing, maybe I'll give it a whirl sometime.
  3. I'm having a very annoying issue with fog. https://imgur.com/a/Ph4nn The foggy grey only affects objects -like walls and doors- sometimes, and when I move toward things, the grey on the object will flicker or go away (like certain parts of the chapel, the roads are also never foggy and stand out). I've tried just about every different graphic setting with no change. I have an AMD Radeon 7700 HD and have never had issues like this before.
  4. I would love this so much! Adoption is very shallow at this point. I want to take them with me! Shopping, camping, going to different cities, maybe adventures at some point? Maybe they'll get interested in certain skills? "Mom, I want to learn how to make potions!" Instead of telling them to go pointlessly sweep the floors, maybe they could practice stuff? Make them sad when I'm gone for a long time? Read them stories?! GAH! With all the follower related mods that exist, I'm surprised no one's had a stable concept like this. :psyduck:
  5. Me too! glad many people have looked at my thread! XD
  6. Honestly, I'm willing to wait for for the Dev Kit release if it will lead to a better quality mod of this sort. Although, the biggest hurdle would be Nick's dialogue. Couple of options: Silent, subtitled dialogue. (Honestly, not a fan.) Spliced together dialogue. (Difficult, given that Nick says little regarding romance or love.) Voiced dialogue by someone that can sound like Nick. (Possible, but might sound out-of-place) By some dark magic, contact Stephen Russell himself and politely ask him to record new lines. (He did make an account on the Through The Looking Glass forums many years ago, but I don't he's been on since then, and unless someone knows a way to contact him, it might not be possible.)
  7. I'm really really bugged that Nick isn't a romance option. He's honestly the most interesting character I've encountered in a long time. Seriously.
  8. Seriously. He's the most interesting and likable character I've encountered so far and he's NOT a romance option?! What gives Beth?! Hopefully someone might be able to conjure up a mod similar to the Serana marriage mods for Skyrim.
  9. With the settlement building it's like you can make your own house, from scratch, IN GAME. I'm staring to get the hang of it. I know for Skyrim and Fallout there have been many awesome modders resources like walls, furniture, and decor. It would be so cool to be able to use those assets in the workshop!
  10. Well, the Not So Fast Main Quest mod includes a toggle to skip Season Unending (quest with the negotiations) entirely. So that is possible. I can also picture MCM options for the different hold ownership choices; Stormcloak or Imperial for a selected hold. Or do the former, skip the negotiations entirely.
  11. Thanks, elixxon. Yes, like I said in the post, I'd like to skip the MQ *entirely*. As in, AFTER Alduin is defeated.
  12. I already use Alternate Start. I'm just hoping for a mod that lets me skip the MQ.
  13. Sometimes I get bored with my character and want to start anew. Sometimes my game bogs up and I have to start from scratch anyway... And nothing irritates me more than having to do the Main Quest all over AGAIN. I know I could download a save file with the MQ completed; but most of the time that player levels in a way, or completes quests with gameplay decisions I don't agree with. Many saves I've tried have also conflicted with Perma. Several of the mods I play with also demand a NEW save game- Legacy of the Dragonborn in particular. I would LOVE a mod that made it possible to skip the MQ entirely (edit: after Alduin is defeated). Perhaps a script that went through all the quest stages and marked them as completed, and adding the necessary quest rewards (spells/weapons) to the pc's inventory? Maybe other questlines as well? Might be possible.
  14. I too am frustrated. The directions for ACC are confusing and no matter what way I do it, the clothes shop in Solitude is either not selling kids clothes at all, or the clothes' textures don't display in the menu (and on my children). :(
