  1. Okay, a update to say I finally fixed my bodyslide in Vortex. The bodyslide files using vortex didn't import properly into it; so i spent a bit of time manually transfering all the missing files into the empty folders and ran bodyslide once more. My Fallout 4 game is fixed!!!
  2. I finally took the dive to change over to Vortex, allowing it to import all my mods from NMM. Everything seems to have ported over without too much trouble until I went to return to my Fallout 4 game and noticed that I had the base vanilla character shape; so I exited and went to use bodyslide to reinstall the shape and bodyslide was completely blank even when the mods were there. Uninstalled and reinstalled bodyslide and no change. Uninstalled all my mods and reinstalled them, no change; then started to panic and tried to use the old bodyslide data to overwrite the files in the vortex folder, got the shapes/slides but completely devoid of textures. Deleted both Caliente and bodyslide from Vortex leaving the folders in the vortex folder, ported the original bodyslide data from the game folder and put that in the vortex folder before installing both Caliente and Bodyslide on Vortex; ran bodyslide and everything showed up! Feeling encouraged, i went in game and found myself back to the vanilla shape. I've tried as many ways as i could think of to fix it outside of a complete wipe and reinstallation of Fallout 4, Vortex and all the mods I use. I am at my wit's end now after fiddling with it, installing and reinstalling several times. Any help would be appreciated that might explain what I might doing wrong, outside of that, I believe I have to do a complete wipe and fresh reinstall of Fallout 4 with every mod with no idea if that would work either. If a fresh reinstall will behave better, I guess it'll have to be done :ohdear: I'm just hoping to avoid the loss of what I've completed in game to this date  ....... Now I'm dreading about going back to oldrim, it has more mods than my Fallout 4
  3. Installed everything okay, ran "GetF4SEversion" and it is installed properly, installed the updated Looksmenu and MCM; then tried to load my last save which froze my computer at the loading screen several times. I'm wondering if there is something else that has been updated to the game which messes the game up. The game played fine yesterday and I don't believe it can be the mods. Just strange..... Bethesda seeking revenge on Fallout players?
  4. I found out what caused this strange rain glitch; it happens when you apply the weather patch provided by the Enhanced Lights and Effects mod. Just reinstall the mod and do not select the weather patch option when asked to avoid the glitch.
  5. Every so often, this graphic anomaly happens but only outdoors which makes me believe it might be a weather mod. I've been trying to fix it myself but am at my wit's end to try to fix it. I am hoping that someone might be able to identify what i can do to fix this glitch. It's annoying but sometimes goes away if i fast travel elsewhere or go indoors. Any insight would be appreciated.
  6. With thanks to bbiller, the settlement returning to it's original format has been resolved by moving the Spring Cleaning mod esm as low as I can possibly get it. All my settlements have now corrected themselves! Thanks again bbiller!
  7. Argh! Has anyone encounter this bug/reset problem where you have your settlement/s scrap everything scrap-able, then build it up nicely to how you like it; play through for awhile and then suddenly return to one or more settlement and find the old houses, shrubs, rocks, trees, etc suddenly return to it's original starting state? I returned today to my game and my nicely built concrete building is inside the settlement's original house and i can't get inside or scrap it because the two building are inside each other. Original scrap-able junk also returned and i can't re-scrape them either; only items i can scrape are what i put up like new walls, crafting stations, etc. Is there a fix for this bug or would i need to restart all over again? Yes, this has happened to me before almost in every play through. I use the mod "Spring Cleaning" to clear up as much as i can, no other mods. Any ideas, fixes or alternative mods to fix this settlement reset bug would be appreciated! TIA.
  8. I've recently reinstalled Skyrim with Dawnguard and Hearthfire; when i started up the game, everyone was agressive towards me even when trying to escape at Helgen Keep. Rolof killed me almost after he untied me. I have no combat enhancement mods installed except the brawl bug mod and as far as i can tell, everything is up to date with the latest mods. Could it be something else as my last play through, i've had no issues before updating all the mods i use?
  9. May i ask, which mod was affecting your game? As i'm kind of clueless what mod could be affecting mine, as again, I haven't really installed any new mods lately except for "Narc - No animal reports crime" and just the standard latest patches. The only mod i have running around the lakeview manor is "Guards at your home" which has been in pretty much all my playthrough without any problems.
  10. Thanks for all your answers! I didn't realize that there isa mod called "When Vampires Attack"; i thought perhaps "Run for your lives" would cover it. Good thing i've asked! Thanks again!
  11. The question i have now is? Should i install it after I've finished everything in the main game or is it okay to install it midway? I'm worried about the random vampire/monster attacks happening that might kill off quest givers, etc before i'm actually ready to delve into the dawnguard expansion. Off topic, is the Dragonborn DLC worthwhile to get as well?
  12. I was thinking the same thing, about possibly reinstalling everything which is like ouch! (204+ mods), but i think i'll play until the entire game is beyond hope. Last night, i finished "laid to rest" and got the deed to the Windstad Manor which i've started building and so far, it looks like it's coming along okay; i can actually see the initial small house and now stated building the main house and see how it goes. Thanks for all the advice, thoughts and help in trying to figure out Lakeview Manor to everyone who've posted. Hopefuly, after i've finished building windstad manor, whatever the issue "might" correct itself with Lakeview (wishful thinking in any case) Thanks again for your insights!
  13. Yes, I've updated to the latest Hearthfire patch, removed NARC - No Animals Report Crimes, removed SMPC and all the related patches to SMPC (as it seems to be outdated by today's standard as it's incorporated into the unofficial patches, mostly  ). As far as I know, I've added no spawning mods or such in my current gameplay. I'm completely in the dark why Lakeview Manor wont show up when i try to build it. I went to a earlier save game and built the entire small house as you've suggested and cursored around for a "E" at where the door could be at and absolutely nothing showed up. I've ran around to see if i bump into anything, nothing. I've even tried to build the stable and even it doesn't show up like if I didn't own the right to build on that property despite me having the deed/charter in my inventory. I think i'm going to try to see if i have the same problem with Windstad Manor as well as I haven't done the favor/job for that property yet. It's just confounding why i can build Hjaalmarch Hall and not Lakeview Manor. I know i haven't added anything new to my setup since my last playthrough (which i did build all three properties) except "Narc - No Animals Report Crimes". Only other thing i did since then was to update all the mods to the current versions if the mod still exist on the Nexus. SMPC and it's related patches, I've removed since the author removed it due to it being outdated when using the latest Unofficial Skyrim Patch 2.1.3a.
  14. Yes, I've built many times before and know the process definitely takes alot of time, components and stages for each location which is why I've built the Hjaalmarch Hall initially as the main base of operation since it's a more centralized location as opposed to the Lakeview and Windstad Manors which are a bit out of the way. Now that I'm much higher in levels and need to expand, I've chose Lakeview Manor as my next point of operations. I've gotten everything i need, started working first with the architectural blueprint table to start the small house first before converting it into a entryway; however, going to the actual building table, I've started with the "Layout" and usually when i turn around, there are pegs and rope on the ground during this phase to how what area is being worked on. But it doesn't appear. Going onto the next level which is the foundation of a small house, i have all the materials required and again, even that doesn't show up after it's built and so on and so forth. I continue on to complete the small house via the building table and when i turn around, no building is there, the ground is unchanged but according to the building table; it's completed. I can even run through the area where the house is suppose to be. So , i'm kind of stumped on what went wrong at Lakeview, the entire Hjaalmarch Hall was completed with enchanter's tower, alchemist tower, armoury, cellar, grain mill, well, stable, carraige and outdoor work area. I'm seeing if anything like this has happened to anyone else and if they managed to fix it and how?
  15. Yes, I've checked the load order and Hearthfire is just under the Skyrim.ESM and Update.ESM; I also ran LOOT before playing. Strange enough as it seems, the last playthrough I did without any changes to the game went by fine. As far as I can tell, I added no new mods to the game that would affect that region; so it'sa mystery to me why it's happening now.
