  1. I have been able to get other Skyrim Original mods to work the way i am going to tell you. But tydr: It did not work for this mod ::: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/16139/? I use ::: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/974/? to unpack BSA, then directly drop their files in the Skyrim Special Edition/Data folder I have been able to get it to work with other mods, but ya, as i said, didn't work this time for the above fishing mod Another option i am going to try is opening the file in creation kit, changing a name to something different, then change name back, saving it, which will convert it to 64bit version of skyrim, which i have heard from other people worked for them on certain mods, save it, pack it back up, then put it in the Skyrim Special Edition/Data folder This work around i got here::: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Porting_Skyrim_mods_to_Skyrim_Special_Edition Hope this helps EDIT:::After using the method with the creation kit, it worked, im excited about that. First time i have used that method, was easier than i thought it would be.
  2. Reading other forums, it seems this is normal for the unofficial patches/DLC , as well numerous people have the same amount of dirty edits with the same patches with no issues in the game, and mod makers advise this is normal too, and they can be ignored for the most part. I have since then cleaned the dirty edits on the mods other than the unofficial patches. I have played the game for a while, encountered another dragon this time, and am getting CTD. I appreciate the help you gave me. Edit /6/9/2014 Today i installed another skyrim on computer (i have original Disc), and one by one installed the mods of my original skyrim into the new one. I loaded the last save from my previous skyrim into the new one. Went outside skyrim, spawned about 15 different dragons, and made sure it would CTD my original. I was not able to get any results to point out any particular mod, the new skyrim never CTD. I don't know if this is result of something i acquired through a mod, that is causing the CTD since my new skyrim toon didn't have any modded items or spells on him while i was running test. But when i would reload my messed up skyrim game, i wouldn't have any modded gear or spells since i saved through the clean skyrim which removed all that, and still get CTD. This will be my 3rd time doing a complete new save/game, but it always comes back to getting CTD. Any ideas would be appreciated. Edit 6/15/2014 I was able to get help from a modder, after messing with the SKSE to do run some script cleanups on the save edit, due to the script heavy mods, it seems to be running smoothly. He pointed that out due to the specific mods i had.
  3. I have several hours on my game already. When i leave skyrim and head east, there is a dragon that spawns after traveling east about 1 minute. It spawns on the ground, with a giant next to it. They then fight each other, upon this, my game will CTD.Sometimes it happens faster than others, sometimes i can watch the fight for at least a minute, or attack the dragon and the giant just runs away, all these events cause CTD.If i do not go that direction i do not CTD. I want to fix this so i don't get future CTD when this or similar events happen. I had a similar event happen several game hours prior to this, where dragon came to whiterun city and attacked, and upon the dragons death i was getting CTD, i was able to get around this by running into my breezehome after dragon death, then out, loot dragon, then run back into breezehome. I have tried disabling Deadly Combat to see if anything would change, rerun reproc and bash patches, run again, no luck.I have tried disabling Dragon Overhaul to see if anything would change, rerun reproc and bash patches, run again, no luck.As well as disabling both and re-patching, run again, no luck.In one test a thief spawned where the giant normally would, the dragon flew away, thief asked for money, and no CTD entire event. This was with both Deadly combat and dragon overhaul enabled. I have run Skyrim Performance Monitor to see if i was hitting my Vram cap, i was staying under 2 gig entire time. All other performance was normal.Papyrus logs are always different on the last couple pages, checking them each time. Everything is up to date that i am aware of. I run Boss, TES5Edit, Wrye Bash, and Nexus Mod Manager, SKSE. Recognized Plugins Unrecognized Plugins
