  1. I'm playing as a female protag (specifically Radiant Jen Zi) and I am using both the Jade Empire Big Gay Romance Fix (https://www.nexusmods.com/jadeempire/mods/4?tab=description) & the Dawn Star for All (https://www.nexusmods.com/jadeempire/mods/5?tab=description) mods. I was hoping to successfully romance both girls in a single playthrough (as mentioned here, https://jadeempire.fandom.com/wiki/Romance), but I had no such luck. I cannot tell if I did something wrong or if my mods actually didn't allow for it. I successfully romanced Dawn Star, but Silk Fox seemed to have oddly backed off and that relationship didn't progress, despite the obvious early success her dialogue was indicating. I'd really like to know if it's possible or not. Can anyone confirm this? (as a female protag)
  2. Woah! mp3silencieux is silent for 7 minutes and 56 seconds! If it's playing that, no wonder I'm having long stretches of time with no music! Going to remove it and see how it goes. Thanks. EDIT: You solved it! Thanks a bunch, Dragon32.
  3. I've played Morrowind a lot over the years (played it back on the original xbox before xbox 360 came out) and I remember the music being pretty omnipresent. But now, for some reason, music only plays every handful of minutes. I feel like I'm playing Minecraft. I don't know what could be causing this. Here are the mods I'm using (hopefully I'm not forgetting anything): MGSO MGE XE Morrowind Code Patch Linora's Leveling Mod Tribunal Delayed Skyrim UI Overhaul for Morrowind Animated Main Menu for Morrowind Better Faces Better Bodies Better Morrowind Armor Better Robes Galleo Good Clothes Mel's Faces Mel Hair Pack Mel Altmer Addon Lower First-Person Sneak Mode Additional Splash Screens I want to hear Morrowind's music in-game, if anyone has any advice or ideas, please advise. Thanks.
  4. Just wanted to let you guys know I got everything working and I'm having fun- thanks! :D
  5. Drag-and-Drop! I was so busy looking for buttons I didn't even consider that! That solved the majority of my confusion right there. Thanks, both- hopefully I'll gain a bit more expertise with this as I play with it. EDIT: Or so I thought- but now as I drag-and-drop and click Copy nothing happens! EDIT2: Ah, I right-clicked the blank Installer screen and clicked Open and there ARE copies there- but nothing has actually happened in the Wrye Bash window that I can perceive. EDIT3: Ah! I right-clicked and clicked Enable and NOW I can see them! :D
  6. I've been modding my games (Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim) for a few years now- I've returned to Oblivion and decided to give Wrye Bash a try since people are recommending it over OBMM. So confused. I know mods tend to be excessively complex and frequently nebulous in explaining how to properly utilize them but even after setting up Wrye Bash I don't know where to start at all. What's confusing me the most is that I can't find anything explaining how it works. I loaded it up, it properly recognizes Oblivion and its DLC- now how do I use Wrye Bash to implement other mods?
  7. Sorry for the slow response, things happened. I can't figure out how to split quotes in this forum so I'll just reply to both here. I just checked the readme and on doc #4 item #4 it explains that apparently even in the original GCD skills/stats exceeded 100. Not seeing a convenient way to change this so I'll probably just give vanilla leveling a try next time. I guess maybe I could ask on the forum over there.
  8. I think I could actually stomach micro-managing stats now- but I want Endurance to be retro-active. I think that's the only real issue I have with the leveling once I accept micro-managing. Is anyone aware of a mod that ONLY affects this?
  9. So I downloaded GCD because I've found it makes my experience smoother in the past. [For reference this is where I got it: http://www.wolflore.net/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1116&sid=62e2014a84490c7d0a6c01454a25a414] I've been playing for a while and I've noticed my stats and skills are going over 100! I actually don't want this, I want to play within the game's constraints, just without having to deal with micro-managing stats. Is there some way to set it to not do this?
  10. Originally I had MGSO, with MGE XE letting me use Borderless Windowed mode. I edited some of my functions because I'm currently using a less-than-optimal laptop- but in the process of doing so I seem to have caused some kind of serious problem. http://imgur.com/zjgXIBQ Now Morrowind ALWAYS has an annoying bubbly window-border, EVEN when I'm on fullscreen mode. Launcher options can't fix it, MGE window mode can't fix it. REINSTALLING can't even fix it! Now I'm really worried... can someone help me find what file I somehow changed to make this permanent? I'm using it via Steam so I assume some file got altered in the cloud that made it permanent... or there's something wrong with this computer? Anyway, I have no good idea. Thanks for any assistance. EDIT: I AM using Windows 8.1, and I HAVE seen ONE other person, on reddit, with this problem also using Windows 8.1- unfortunately I have not seen any kind of fix. I seriously hope it doesn't persist to my other computer...
  11. I heard someone else try this, unfortunately it didn't seem to solve my problem. : /
  12. http://imgur.com/zjgXIBQ This is not my image, but I'm having the same issue in that whether or not I'm fullscreen I get an annoying window border around Morrowind. I had been using MGSO (Morrowind Sound & Graphics Overhaul) which includes MGE (Morrowind Graphics Extender) which is most likely the source of the problem- but the problem persisted even after I uninstalled, deleted the files in the Morrowind folder without applying mods and reinstalled! Google is absolutely worthless for finding a solution to a problem with this many frequently-used words. Activating Window or Fullscreen in launcher options does nothing. Changing to-or-from Windowed Mode in MGE options isn't fixing it either. I have no idea what to do to fix this. Please advise.
  13. So I just beat the game (yay) and I decided I wanted to try a different kind of character... but only after implementing many more mods, which has been going surprisingly well. In my last game I used the FO Character Overhaul by itself, making characters look significantly better. In reemplementing FOCO(Fallout Character Overhaul) I saw that it mentioned Mikoto's Beauty Pack as something to be used with it. I looked it up and it looked cool, so I implemented that too. Then I realized, the eyes that are unique to MBP(Mikoto's Beauty Pack) only work with the skins available from MBP, not the skins from FOCO. This wouldn't be a problem, except... MBP skins are ugly. Then there's the additional problem that (and this didn't happen the last time I played) all NPCs have these bizarro-looking eyes for some reason now. It really is a shame, because FOCO has great skins and MBP has great eyes, but both have terrible examples of the other's. (Of course, it's entirely possible that I'm simply doing something wrong- which would be convenient because it should be that much easier to fix) === TL;DR: NPCs are ugly, help.
  14. Okay, I think I'm using Oblivion XP (not, Oblivion XP Update) and I'm curious about something. It seems to be the case that eating ingredients gives experience... but using them to make potions... does not. Can someone clarify this for me?
  15. I was playing Morrowind, after having plugged-in (if that's the proper term) a bunch of great mods for the first time (been playing the game since it's launch and only now am I implementing mods) and I noticed that despite the fact that it was raining, NPCs were holding torches out to light the night. After having tested it, it became clear to me that characters can, in fact, hold other types of light-creating objects, like an enclosed travel lantern. So I got to wondering: maybe there's a mod to make NPCs not use torches during rain, or to switch to something feasible during rain. - I know this is totally unimportant and and I'm being picky, but it's the kind of thing that stands out to me :D Thanks to any responders
