  2. So I got EVE but I hate how Protectron's Gaze looks and I'm not a big fan of the Metal Blaster either. I want Protectron's Gaze to look really weathered and dirty and the Metal Blaster to look either industrial (found a mod that made it have yellow and black stripes but didn't like it) or more weathered. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

So this is what my character currently looks like - http://imgur.com/J4RXPuH (Tribal power armour, filtration helmet and the metal blaster, all from The Pitt) And I'm looking for weapons or armour with a similar aesthetic i.e. the sort of industrial, weathered look. This can be either added weapons and armour or retextures of stuff already in the game, doesn't matter if they are guns, anergy weapons or big guns Thanks for any suggestions!
  4. I have RH_Iron Sights as well as weapon mod kits and at least one of my weapons, the FN Fal, the iron sights only work if it has no weapon mods. As soon as I put any on it just zooms in when i right click and then snaps to iron sights when I shoot a round before going back to just zoomed in. I read the FAQ and it says the iron sights only appearing when firing is a load order issue but i've moved wmk and iron sights pretty much everywhere in my load order but the problem persists. Any ideas? Also, if someone could tell me which mod the FN Fal is a part of it may help me mess with my load order some more (and test other weapons that are a part of that mod). Thanks :)
  5. After more tinkering I realised it is because I reinstalled it without turning off UIO, which was causing all manner of problems. So i deactivated it and reinstalled the mods one at a time and testing them as shown in the video and now it all works perfectly. Thank you very much for your help! :)

So if using the latest version, which you should, you shouldn't use DUIF3Extras.esp. http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1085562-wipzbeta-darnified-ui-f3/ I reinstalled using the link you gave me and it didn't come with DUIF3Extras.esp and now that issue is fixed, so thanks! However none of the new HUD elements like the clock, karma meter or resistances are appearing :/
  7. So I installed all of my UI mods as described in this gopher vid: Only difference is I use UIO instead of Unified HUD (as he recommends). I get into the game and the fonts and everything look smaller as it should, but when i hit escape I get the help box and it won't close when I press enter or click OK. Moreover, when I opened up the console it was being spammed with messages from Darnified UI (when I entered anything it would be immediately pushed off screen by the same message being spammed over and over - see pictures if you don't understand what I mean (I typed 'g' to show what is happening)). Any idea what is causing this? I have moved the esps to pretty much every spot in my load order as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the mod numerous times. I recently downloaded ADAM and acquired the Prototype Riot Gear helmet and I would like to be able to add Night vision, Thermal Vision and TAC from the Advanced Recon mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38328) to it but so far have found no way to be able to do so. Anyone have any ideas how to do this? Thanks for any help.
  9. That sounds like it might be easier. Would I just copy the wanted texture into the file for the helmet I want it on? Edit: Just tried it and it worked! Thanks :)
  10. I have a mod which adds a couple of new helmets but I like the texture of helmet 1 and the stats of helmet 2. What I want to know is: How would I go about getting the texture from 1 onto helmet 2 using GECK? I don't think I can just change the stats of my preferred texture since it has this ability to scan an enemy so I imagine that complicates things. My experience with GECK extends to changing the stats on a piece of armour so please use little words. Thanks for any help.
