Tried to remove the extra bones in nifskope, and it worked: although BBB doesn't work still, I can equip the armor without problems.

Hi. I'm having a problem using BBB armors: the boobs are either invisible, or stretch out to the ground or are looking extremely bugged. It's basically the same issue you experience when you don't have the max. compatibility skeleton installed, only i DO have the skeleton. The strange thing is, that when using any BBB armor like this one this glitch happens, but when I use this one, everything works fine. I don't use animations for BBB, neither do I have the BBB body replacer installed. but according to for example this post, that isn't necessary. I don't really need my boobs to bounce (although it would be nice, but i'll have to replace all my animations), but I just want this armor to work. the animation mods I use are: Animation Replacer Pack female idle replacer for player only Idles Poses Replace Does someone know what the problem is? Changing the alpha slider and checking 'enable testing' does it. Only changing the alpha function to 'less' makes the whole armor part invisible, and that wasn't what I wanted. So thank you both, because it looks quite better now.

The meshes are in the Oblivion/meshes.bsa file, you can unpack them using OBMM. The (Icon) textures are in the Textures-compressed.bsa file. Besides, if you don't want to alter the mesh, but only change the stats, you can right-click on the leather armor items in the CS and then click duplicate. everything, including the mesh and texture paths are correct, and you can change the stats to whatever you want.

hello, Because I wanted to make some parts of the golden saint armor invisible, I found this tutorial. Only when having followed all of the steps, and equipped the armor in game, I run into an issue with the shining colors. I'd better explain this with a picture, you can find it here. you can see which parts I wanted to be invisible because they show up like pink glass and they make the armor parts behind the removed parts invisible. Does someone know how to fix this? Is this problem occurring because of me doing things wrong with the normal and color maps in photoshop, or can I fix this using NifSkope? I hope you can answer my question.

Hello After having read old topics about the bruma crash bug caused by the statue of the PC, I wondered whether you are able to redo the statue creation progress, like in the quest ''great gate''. Since I use many character and clothing mods, and it's most likely I deinstalled some stuff I was wearing while in the great gate, I ask if it's possible to make a new clean statue , not just remove the statue with a mod. The crash doesn't happen when I enter Bruma, because of weOCPS, and the only strange thing is that the statue doesn't have a head or an upper body, only a lowerbody and hands with a torch. So I wonder if anyone knows how this quest works, and I hope the people of Bruma will honor me again.

I already have the skeletons. But if the menu icons cause the crash, is this because some female armor/clothing pieces don't have a male icon or mesh? I have a lot of these mods installed, so should I change this in the CS to prevent crashes?

Well, the CTD's don't occur after closing my inventory, but when clicking on a piece of clothing in your inventory to equip it.

Hi, I'm having a bit of an issue with equipping clothing and armor pieces: oblivion crashes randomly after equipping clothing and armor in the inventory menu. Trying a new clothing mod by equipping all the pieces results almost certainly in a CTD. I'm using lots of clothing and armor mods, and the hgec body, so does somebody know how I can prevent this? I'm already using WeOCPS, but is doesn't work for this. Thanks.

maybe it's me, but about 95% of the modders who are able to make nice clothing seem to be japanese and prefer making catsuits and school girl uniforms. (some of the stuff made by japanese is still great however) Kinda pity, cause outfits like these fit the idea of a medieval-like RPG much more. If someone could make it, It'd be nice if there was a white retex too. I like to change my color sometimes.

Hello, Although there are many animation replacer mods, there is only one stance for horse riding: the vanilla one. Maybe it would be nice if somebody created a horse riding animation replacer, or a mod that lets you pick an animation (for screenies) when sitting on your horse, in the same way CTAddPose mods work. Like a mod that lets you sit with two legs on one side, or with your weapon drawn (horseback fighting isn't necessary, but just for the pose) or something like standing on your horse or just having your body or your head in another stance. I hope someone can make this mod somehow, for horse riding screenies are becoming more and more boring. Thanks a lot. P.S. If something like this already exists, can you please tell me where to find it?

After adding the hi-res bodytextures to my Siren (I used the Mystic Elf textures and renamed those to lightfootfemale.dds etc I got annoyed by the body seam, so I downloaded the hi-res face textures. I installed those, but in the screenshots in the zip file I discovered a screenie that showed better male/female textures for the head. In the folder they were called RenHeadFF10.dds and RenHeadFF20.dds, additional to RenHeadF.dds (which I renamed to lighthead.dds). Does anyone know how to install these textures and make them work for my light siren? In the CS, there is no option in the races menu to add additional face textures to your race (except by replacing the old ones). because the RenHeadFF10.dds and RenHeadFF20.dds textures are black, I suppose I shouldn't replace my lighthead.dds file. Do those textures work just like the normal and glow maps and don't they have to be added in the CS, but only given the appropriate name? If yes, how should I call them to work on my siren? If no, is there another way to make them work? OBSE does not change the game in any way. Mods that need it does, yet your report let suppose the former mods were not OBSE dependent so it's not the issue. Some mods can make former saved games unplayable, often just changing the load order is enough to it. The reason most of times being things in the save that does not exist anymore or are 'wrong in relation with the newer', the culprit. Addendum: removing mods can make the saves unplayable too. You may need some utilities like Wrye's bash and or TES4Edit to identify what is missing or 'too much' and hope it can be corrected, else the solution is returning the situation where those saves works or begin anew. Edit PS: If you are already playing and try to load another game, it's almost certain the crash if that save is in another cell, it's an old and known issue with the game engine itself. Just don't do it, quit the game and load the save you want from start. yea, the saves aren't corrupted at all, but only the game crashes when using quickload or menus in-game. Only, quitting the game works, but its kinda frustrating cz any quit causes an immediate crash, so it takes a long time to restart the game. I wondered if there was some kinda fix for the in-game loading mechanism (without having to return to the main menu).

Hello guys, I'm having a bit of a problem with loading my save games. Because when I first load my game after I started oblivion, all works well. But when I'm in game, and I want to reload an older save, the game crashes. I suspect it has something to do with OBSE, because before I installed this everything was just fine. I can play with this bug, but after some time it gets annoying for I have to restart oblivion over and over. Quickloading doesn't work either. Another recently installed mods are: Qarl's TP and All Natural. Thank you very much.

I've found the problem: the name of my texture was chainmail_mithril.dds and probably oblivion recognises an underscore as a property of the file. so the name must be: chainmailmithril.dds or something like that. problem solved.

It seems the normal map is all right, I used the default mithril texture with the new normal map and everything showed up o.k. so it's the base texture that doesn't seem right. Maybe i dont get this stuff if i download tga files instead of jpegs. btw: is there some kind of tutorial about this compression thing? i dont get the hang of this.

Hello, I've just downloaded the Chainmail Texture Resource from Tesnexus, to put them as a retex for some armor. I've downloaded the normal maps that fit together with the textures. For example, I've converted the chainmail_mithril.jpg to chainmail_mithril.dds , chainmail_mithril_normals.jpg to chainmail_mithril_n.dds and used them in NifSkope to apply on a part of a mithril cuirass. Only, in game, the retextured part of the armor is invisible, while the other parts of the cuirass are still visible. Can somebody help?
