  1. I just had this issue a few minutes ago and went to go search for a solution. Sorry for bumping an old-ish thread. At least for me, the problem seemed to lie in the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. I unchecked the plugin from the load order in the NMM. Then I loaded the game up, killed Mirmulnir again and was able to absorb his soul just fine. Just remember to recheck the mod in plugins when you've got it. Deactivating the mod won't solve the problem, by the way. That'll just crash the game. That solution might be different for some people but I at least hope it helps.
  2. Yes. I attack Justiciars all the time on the roads. I am with the Empire though. If I get a bounty from it, then I use my Guild influence to have that erased. And I am using a number of mods including SkyRe, SkyUI, Uncapper, Flora Overhaul. But I don't have the BOSS. Didn't actually know about it until now when I looked it up.
  3. I'm not sure what to do or what I've done to wrong them. I was making part of a final leg to get the rest of the Stones of Barenziah. Went from the College and down to Fellglow Keep. Got those two. Then went to Whiterun to break down and sell some things I picked up on the way. So to sell some things I walked into the Drunken Huntsman and Elrindir started attacking me as soon as he saw me. I used Calm to finish what I needed to do and left. After that I decided to go to Dragonsreach to use the enchanting table. The Jarl, his housecarl, steward and brother plus Farengar all attacked me unprovoked. I used Calm on all of them but it wore off, and they resumed attacking me even after I fled the castle. I ran and hid behind a building until they could no longer detect me. It must be a major bug, I'm not sure what happened. My bounty in Whiterun Hold is zero. I only have a bounty of 101 in Haffingar. On the way back from Fellglow to Whiterun I was attacked by two completely random spriggians. I know they have a tendency to make the wildlife around you hostile. But it shouldn't be affecting actors all the way inside the city. I also visited Warmaiden's, Belethor and the alchemist in Whiterun but they were not hostile. I'm not sure what to do here, I don't think going back a few saves will make much of a difference.
  4. Yesterday I was prompted by Steam that my local files weren't synced with the data on the Steam cloud for Skyrim. So it asked me to either download the cloud files or upload the local files to the cloud. I chose to upload the local files since they were the most recent. Now I don't remember what happened exactly, but I left to go do something while that was working. When I came back it said something about having failed or not syncing properly. Not giving me any other options I cancelled out of it and started the game up anyway. Since I know my local files should have stayed up-to-date anyway. I launch via the SKSE_loader.exe. I have SKSE, SkyUi, SkyRe, Uncapper and a number of other mods but those shouldn't be causing any problems. So I start the game just fine and tell it to load from the latest saved game. It goes into the loading screen and when it's done loading, the game crashes by telling me Skyrim.exe has stopped working and cannot find a solution to the problem. I tried loading the next save down and got the same noise. Tried verifying cache for the game and it said there was a file missing and that Steam would re-obtain it. Endless cycle. But this didn't work either. Turned off synchronization with the Steam cloud, didn't work.
  5. I did, thank you. The problem seems to be resolved for now.
  6. As the title states, I have been getting CTD's when I leave Whiterun and head to the Western Watchtower to initiate the quest. They all happen at around the same area/distance from the location. It may be a confliction with a mod, but I wouldn't know which one it would be. I don't have very many installed, though. I did have a character before this I loaded most of the mods onto. For testing purposes. I did finish Dragon Rising on that character. But I started having problems with a mod that was later fixed. I updated but no amount of clean saves could solve the problem. So I started a new character and things were going smoothly until now. Only mods I added since starting the new character were just textures and hair. When I try to run the game again after the CTD I get "Application load error P:0000065432". Running as Admin doesn't work. So I have to restart my rig when this happens. I suppose I could revert to a save before getting the Dragonstone and not have shouts. Ever. But if there's a way around this and I can actually play the game normally then that'd be great. And here's my mods folder, if it helps. http://i.imgur.com/b6EbAmv.png
