Hi guys, thanks Nightshade I reordered my shaderlist but it's still doing the same thing and I don't use CelShader in my shaderlist. This morning found out I had another issue... black lines over the water surface, so I put up a screenshot of that too. On the first screenshot you can see the white border I was talking about, at night it follows my char and in FP it acts like a white light, nothing huge but it's annoying.

First issue... why do I have a white border in first person and at night this border acts like a weak light around my char? is it a setting in godrays.fx I screwed up? Second issue... when godrays pass through the trees, the trees leaves have flat colors and black borders between them, like no more transparency, and it's the same for grass when I face the sun, also under water the grass is very ugly is it normal or a shader I should remove? EDIT I would love to take screenshots but my game won't allow me, I have no idea why, ballowscreen is at 1 and I still can't :confused: so sorry about that and I hope you understand what I tried to explain.

well it's working again now, it's really weird I uninstalled it and installed it again without the UO and now it's working, hopefully it won't be raining 24/7 again... fingers crossed.

It was raining 24/7 after a few days of gaming, so I went online and I applied the UO patch for this mod. It worked for a few days and then here we go again raining 24/7, I'm quite not sure of what is going on with this mod but it's really weird, anyone had this issue before? and what could I possibly do? I tried to uninstall it and install another weather mod but I had to start a new game it seems and I don't want that. :confused:

Alright got it, in console I typed this... player.setstage mq02 20 So I got back the Deliver the amulet quest and I delivered it and quest was updated, hopefully it won't cause problems later, but I don't think so. :biggrin:

Which I did, I used every possible dialogues, the first time I did it I could give him the amulet the first time... and when I look in my quests I don't see the main quest there, wouldn't it be called Deliver the Amulet?, like the quest just disappeared with no reason :unsure: Is there a way to bring back the quest or go back and start the quest from beginning? I really don't want to start a new game again!

Ok I can't give the amulet of kings to Jauffre, I go to Wynen Priory and when I go to see Jauffre at his desk there's no dialogue to give him the amulet, what's wrong with my game? :confused:

My game keep crashing every 5-10 minutes

Nevermind I fixed it ;) Another question... now I wanted to install OOO 1.3 but when I extract the .exe it says "cannot open output file" and all files can't be opened... is there an archive for this mod or they're all in .exe? -

What's the best immersive sound mod you used/downloaded and are still using obviously? I'm looking more into natural sounds like birds, animals, etc in the wilderness and weather sounds like wind, rain, thunders. I'd like the opinion of everyone so I can pick the best choice for me, I've seen OSSO and MIS and I'm quite unsure to which one I should play with and if there are more out there, I don't want to mess around with my game by trying all mods and I never tried any of them so your opinion would be very appreciated! :)

wow you were right I deleted my oblivion.ini again and removed music and sound and it worked, don't ask me why I have no idea. :tongue: So I can get in the game now, but I have no sound :confused: at least I know it's a sound problem, brings me to the conclusion of a possible codec problem do you agree? EDIT: I updated some codecs and reactivated my sound in .ini and it works! :) music still not working but doesn't matter as long as I can play it haha, will run music in background. Thanks for your assistance Striker! :thumbsup:

Yes sound card is up-to-date, I looked around earlier and indeed there are similar situations where main menu music didn't work but they managed to make it work through oblivion.ini and their screen was not freezing, they could start a new game, it seemed more like a music only issue.

Thanks Striker but as you were writing this I was doing exactly this, found this link an hour ago :laugh: but sadly it still doing the same thing, now after CCleaner cleaned my registry (again) , disk check on D hard drive, plus a defragmentation... I doubt this is a leftover or corrupted file, there were no more files belonging to Oblivion when I reinstalled it. Since the music is not working on the menu (which is very weird imo since all mp3 are in the folder and working well) I thought maybe it was a music or sound problem (i.e when the old man starts talking) so I deactivated the music and sound in the .ini (bmusicenabled = 1 to = 0) No luck still freezing,

So my game yesterday was working just fine (on Vista) until I installed a mod which pretty much played with my original files I guess because my game kept crashing in-game after that even with the mod deactivated, I did a test with BOSS and TES4Edit I had a few reds so I deactivated them all but my game never came back to normal. So I uninstalled Oblivion with the uninstall on the launcher and removed my saved games folder with the .ini then reinstalled it (GOTYE version) There my problem starts... I start a new game to make sure everything's fine before installing mods but once i click "YES" after new game, the game/screen freeze, I even waited 10 minutes and nothing happened. I installed the UOP, deleted registry, reinstalled 2 times, deactivated Nero codecs to make sure it was not a sound problem, without success. :\ I'm seriously out of ideas and I would like to know that someone had this problem before and how it can be solved! I would really appreciate some help, thank you!
