  1. So I've won a free copy of Oblivion GOTY a while ago and I finally decided it was time to play all the DLC.

Not to mention there a plenty of awesome quest mods out there that I still want to try out and some finally finish.

Few years ago I have had pretty much the same mod set up as now but I really can't fix my Camera issue this time.

In third person the issue isn't really noticeable until you start to loot. I have to crawl all over the floor to interact with something let alone pick up. In first person the problem is way to obvious, I have to pretty much back up a lot or move the camera all the way down to interact with anything.

If I want to interact with 1 of 3 crates stacked up to each other I often, open first the top one instead of the middle one, conversations aren't the zoomed in on the faces ones anymore (which I don't mind until I'm pretty much looking at their crotch to be able to speak), I've almost stole from some npc even though I was looking straight at the npc to talk. I don't have my weapon visible when drawn, don't mind that cause it's there when i swing it. Randomly having to guess where the arrow goes is a b&@*$ to do, when I raise my shield it blocks my entire screen so I can't see s#*!.

Fighting in general is nearly impossible due to the camera issue, I have to mostly guess where my strikes hit and blocking is even harder when the npc's can hit me from a distance with a damn hammer while there is a big enough gap between us. I don't know if it has anything to do with the camera issue but i'll put it out just in case: Often when circling around the enemy I get hit without there being an attack animation, which makes it nearly impossible to block or dodge.

I decided not to bother with FCOM even though it sounds awesome, because of all the hassle it takes and last time it still didn't work for me. I've been able to use both Deadly Reflex and Unnecessary Violence together so I have no clue what the issue is this time. I'm not that far in the game, so if I have to start over I don't mind.

I tried using Coronerras' Maximum Compatibility Skeletons, that didn't work and I tried Oblivion - Enhanced Camera which didn't work either cause it won't allow me to go into first person.

Additionally from time to time I witness a stretched Texture/Mesh any suggestions on how to tackle that issue?

I really hope somebody can help me out with this.

  2. See it's almost winter so they where right about that regard. Patience is a virtue, so just relax and wait for it to be released. It's better to have a mod that's been build over time, making it have less chances to have many issue's. Else you would have a rushed mod with just to many flaws and you'll complain about that anyway. Be glad they didn't post it during the so called "Mini Ice Age" we would be having. Now that would've been a pain to wait till the end of it for the mod to be released.

  3. Just wanted to let you know that apparently it is possible to have spells be effected by weather. Watched a review of the mage's skill from the Ordinator mod. As far as I know it only allows certain elements to be more stronger in their appropriate weather condition. Frost being stronger in snow storms and what not.

  4. A small suggestion, how bout adding a small black market to the city?

Hell if even possible make it challenging to gain access to the inventory let alone to the market itself.

Thieves need to prove themselves, good guys they need a really really good reason to even be possibly allowed access.

I was serious about the spikes though, dining under the spikes of your enemies.

    I guess that's just me then :p

  5. Personally I won't be scared to use this mod. I'm a frequent ETAC and JK's user.

I decided to run JK alone with the towns and cities overhaul, gave me a weird feeling seeing Riverwood.

I was so used to seeing it being bigger with ETAC, but it wasn't a bad feeling only took time to get used too.

What I love about JK is the visual looks, the new spaces to go to and explore. Unused area's utilized and what not is just great.

When I saw Romantic Whiterun, I loved it absolutely. It gave me the vibe of an actual city during the Medieval Ages.

The cramp spaces, the compacter area's... I just love it and it looks amazing. Hell it makes it look like an all new game to me.

I've been playing Witcher 3 and I plan on giving my Skyrim the same "vibe" and this is exactly a mod I'm looking for to use it.

I absolutely love your flea district, you gave a more appealing look to a pretty bland city.

IMO you don't really see the difference in classes in the vanilla cities, well maybe Windhelm and Markarth but not that much.

I mean there's a civil war going on and you don't even notice it in the cities really unless you do sieges.

That's what I loved to see in JK's overhaul for Solitude, the blacksmith there had a "huge" amount of Armour and weapons ready to ship out to the legion.

I just wonder is there an option to access the rooftops or get to higher grounds?

Would be nice for stealth players, but I just like going to places where I'm basically not supposed too.

Personally now that I look at it: Skyrim feels like being run by robots, what I loved by running in Witcher 3's cities is seeing all those npc's.

Thugs, thieves, beggars, drunks, shady people, merchants, rich people, pirates, dock hands, prostitutes and guards.

It just adds to the "liveliness" of a city, I'm not saying add prostitutes and brothels to cities so my character can go whoring around.

I mean they where around in those times and people needed a little R&R sometimes.

When you featured the Deathhead Legion, I thought to my self: Oh s*** those guys look imposing, better not mess with them any time soon.

The vanilla legion looked like a joke, but what you showed of the Deathhead Legion turned them into a force to be reckoned with.

My only suggestion would be maybe adding something as a black market or a small stash in one of the many alley's in the "bigger" cities like Whiterun and Solitude

Sorry for the long post

  6. As far as jesters go there not really my thing :pirate: ..the only reason I might put them in game is with the sole purpose of killing them to stick there heads on spikes on one of the gatehouses.

Now you need to make a courtyard with pikes holding bodies all over it, so you can eat under it.

I mean who wouldn't want to consume their meals, right under the dripping corpses of all who oppose you?

  7. These magic mods are always so tempting to try out, eventhough every magic related playthrough ends up me stopping because my ass always gets handed to me.

I got more ideas on spells than perks but i'm wondering if this could work as a destruction perk:

Elementalist: Elemental Spell gets increased by xx amount when used in the correct weather/location condition. Others get decreased by XX amount.

What I'm pointing at is basically your enviorment plays a role on how powerfull said elemental spell is. When it's raining Frost and Lightning spells would become stronger: water causes you to freeze over quicker and is a good conduit for lightning. Kind of seems of logical to me, that casting a fire during a snow or rainstorm will take more effort than the other Frost and Lightning.

No idea if its remotely possible, just tossing it out there. I got a few more but, they relate more to actual spells than perks.

  8. You really made a great re-creation of how Volendrung would look like, if it followed its original design path. I like the fact that in skyrim it looks demonic because it belongs to a Daedric Prince, it's what you'd imagine. But as you say it doesn't add up to the lore if it's Dwemer material. Your version reminded me instantly of the game Warhammer (eventhough I haven't played the franchise or know it) or it belonging to a crusader (Maybe even belong to the Hammerite's from the Thief franchise). Doesn't mean it's bad though, it looks great. I don't know why but I mostly think with this weapon is that you swat people with it instead of smashing. Somehow looks like an oversized flyswatter but that's just me.

  9. I've been watching and following this topic for awhile now and I have to say; you're doing an amazing job. I love the details you're adding and the many variations. I don't usually post, but I just wanted to let you know. You're not posting here for nothing, I eagerly await what new stuff you will bring.
