  1. So, you like wasting CPU time, huh? Yeah... Not gonna happen on my system Items you could bump up to 2, but those 5s really ought to be 4 or lower. 2K Textures and RLO on a low-end system? Really? Really? I'm sorry, but I can't take any of that seriously. Well, I listed my specs, considering the my graphics card is really crappy I figured it might work for other people in similar situations. I'm Sorry it doesn't seem to work for you. I've moslty been a leecher on mods and forums so I thought just I would give a contribution for a change, which seems to be pretty crappy >.> It runs fine to meet my needs, which would mean the game is quite playable and still enjoyable. Well either way, no point in this topic I guess, if a mod would be kind enough to delete this. One of these mods did make the game a lot laggier but it wasn't the 2k textures or the aMidian mod, I had the game running great yesterday.. but doesn't matter anymore I screw it up Haha
  2. Tired of playing Skyrim on Low settings all the time? Well now even with a low-end graphics card you can enjoy a much more visually-enjoyable adventures. Please Note: This was tested on my PC which DOES NOT have a good graphics card in the least. =============== My System/ Specs: ========================= Manufacturer: HP Model: p7-1110 Processor: IntelĀ® Core i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30GHz Installed Memory (RAM): 6.00 GB 64 Bit Operating System Running Windows 7 Graphics Card: Intel HD Family Graphics (Pretty low-end IMO for any sort of gaming with out major tweaks to the game) ========================= First off you'll need to edit your SkyrimPrefs.ini BEFORE YOU CHANGE YOUR SKYRIMPREFS.ini Make sure to open the regular launcher for Skyrim to configure the settings. Under Skyrim options: "Detail" change it to the ''low' preset. Under the 'Advanced' tab everything else Low(I recommend Medium for texture quality, but this will slightly decrese preformance) or None. Now I at this point I'm pretty sure that you're thinking, "This is just making everything even worse!" Well if you just played with these settings yes. Under view distance: Object and Actor Fade - 5, Light fade - Your choice, everything else 0 or the lowest value possible. Save the settings, then exit out of the Skyrim Launcher Screen. NOW go to Documents/Games/Skyrim/SkyrimPrefs.ini My SkyrimPrefs: Highlight everything in your skyrimprefs.ini and replace it all with this; [imagespace]bDoDepthOfField=1[Display]iBlurDeferredShadowMask=5fInteriorShadowDistance=2000.0000fShadowDistance=3000.0000iShadowMapResolutionSecondary=512iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=512iShadowSplitCount=0fShadowLODStartFade=1000.0000iShadowMode=3iShadowMapResolution=512fShadowBiasScale=1.6500iShadowMaskQuarter=4iShadowFilter=0bFXAAEnabled=0iMaxAnisotropy=1fLeafAnimDampenDistEnd=4600.0000fLeafAnimDampenDistStart=3600.0000fTreesMidLODSwitchDist=3600.0000fGamma=1.0000bShadowsOnGrass=0fDecalLOD2=1500.0000fDecalLOD1=1000.0000fSpecularLODStartFade=500.0000fLightLODStartFade=1000.0000iTexMipMapMinimum=0iTexMipMapSkip=0bTransparencyMultisampling=0iWaterMultiSamples=0iMultiSample=0bDeferredShadows=1bTreesReceiveShadows=0bDrawLandShadows=0bDrawShadows=1bFull Screen=0iSize H=720iSize W=1280fMeshLODFadePercentDefault=1.2000fMeshLODFadeBoundDefault=256.0000fMeshLODLevel2FadeTreeDistance=2048.0000fMeshLODLevel1FadeTreeDistance=2844.0000fMeshLODLevel2FadeDist=1e+007fMeshLODLevel1FadeDist=1e+007iScreenShotIndex=0bShadowMaskZPrepass=0bMainZPrepass=0iMaxSkinDecalsPerFrame=0iMaxDecalsPerFrame=0sD3DDevice="IntelĀ® HD Graphics Family"iAdapter=0iPresentInterval=0[Grass]b30GrassVS=0fGrassStartFadeDistance=0fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=7000.0000fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=400.0000[Water]iWaterReflectHeight=512iWaterReflectWidth=512bUseWaterDisplacements=1bUseWaterRefractions=1bUseWaterReflections=1bUseWaterDepth=1[MAIN]fSkyCellRefFadeDistance=150000.0000bGamepadEnable=0bCrosshairEnabled=1fHUDOpacity=1.0000bSaveOnPause=1bSaveOnTravel=1bSaveOnWait=1bSaveOnRest=1[interface]fMouseCursorSpeed=1.0000bDialogueSubtitles=0bGeneralSubtitles=0bShowCompass=1[GamePlay]bShowFloatingQuestMarkers=1bShowQuestMarkers=1iDifficulty=2[Controls]bUseKinect=0fMouseHeadingSensitivity=0.0125fGamepadHeadingSensitivity=1.9000bAlwaysRunByDefault=1bInvertYValues=0bGamePadRumble=1[Particles]iMaxDesired=750[saveGame]fAutosaveEveryXMins=15.0000[AudioMenu]fAudioMasterVolume=1.0000fVal7=1.0000uID7=0fVal6=1.0000uID6=0fVal5=1.0000uID5=0fVal4=1.0000uID4=0fVal3=0.5000uID3=466532fVal2=0.8000uID2=554685fVal1=0.8000uID1=1007612fVal0=1.0000uID0=94881[Clouds]fCloudLevel2Distance=262144.0000fCloudLevel1Distance=32768.0000fCloudLevel0Distance=16384.0000fCloudNearFadeDistance=9000.0000[General]iStoryManagerLoggingEvent=-1bEnableStoryManagerLogging=0[TerrainManager]fTreeLoadDistance=12500fBlockMaximumDistance=75000fBlockLevel1Distance=25000fBlockLevel0Distance=15000fSplitDistanceMult=0.4bShowLODInEditor=0[Trees]bRenderSkinnedTrees=1uiMaxSkinnedTreesToRender=40[Decals]uMaxDecals=0bDecals=0bSkinnedDecals=0uMaxSkinDecals=0uMaxSkinDecalsPerActor=0[LOD]fLODFadeOutMultSkyCell=1.0000fLODFadeOutMultObjects=5fLODFadeOutMultItems=1fLODFadeOutMultActors=5[Launcher]bEnableFileSelection=1bShowAllResolutions=0uLastAspectRatio=3[blurShaderHDR]bDoHighDynamicRange=0[blurShader]bUseBlurShader=0Many of these tweaks contained in the file will help decrease mouse lag and improve mouse speed (slightly), AS well as improving the low shadow quality.
