  1. YES! Glad you found the problem. Check out my issue if you got time =D haha
  2. I'm using Nexus Mod Manager and am unfamiliar with FOMM. But I can tell you that Load Order is very important and you should understand how that works to solve your issue. YouTube has a number of videos that explain what you need to look for in load orders. After watching these videos I was able to get the game to load without crashing. Also, I read Nexus Mod Manager is a bit more simple than FOMM.
  3. I'm sorry I don't know how to look up errors, but have you learnt how to compile a load order correctly? Doing this is very important.
  4. Right. Have you at any point had other mods on that save that you've since removed from your load order? Have you attempted replicating the issue in a new game? I know it's a pain in the butt, but maybe there was a mod that affected that area that has since been removed, and when you attempt to load that area now the lack of information causes the crash?
  5. Sorry I don't understand trace logs very well. But I've found when I'm dealing with startup crashes, it's best to un-check all the mods and at least get the game running in a vanilla-esque way. Once you get that happening, re-check your load order one-by-one and ensure that each plugin is sitting BELOW the MASTER plugins, and that you have all the master plugins loaded as well (the file names in the master list need to be identical to those in your load order. If they're slightly different, you've got the wrong files.) Hope this helps. Also, if you un-check all your mods and the game still crashes then it's not a load order issue. Look into the stuff you might have manually added to the root or data directories for the issue. Finally, it might be mod incompatibility. But NMM has a validation system that allows the lower plugin to overwrite conflicting info.
  6. Remember, troubleshooting is just a modern way of saying "process of elimination"
  7. Hey mate. I vaguely remember either Freeside Open or Strip Open having fix patches... go check. You might need to update the plugins with the fix update? Other than that I'm not sure, sorry.
  8. I need to will start by advising, although I look like a noob, I have spent roughly 12-14 hours over the last 4 days learning how to mod Fallout New Vegas. I've read many read-me's, FAQs and forum posts. I'm only posting here now because I have hit a legitimate wall, and I need your expert assistance THE PROBLEM: Bright nights and I can't generate a permanent fix. By default, my nights are normally too bright. I have many mods loaded, but optimised the load order and have removed all mod-generated in-game crashes (although, the game does crash when I exit... can't figure out why.) Here's a quick run-down of the mods (relevant to the issue) that are loaded: - FNV4GB in root directory, run via custom line in Nexus Mod Manager. - ENB 161 Injector version in root directory, edited enbinjector.ini to recognise FNV4GB.exe, so ENB loads via NMM's "FNV4GB.exe" custom line (this works, tested vigorously). I do run enbinjector.exe prior to launching FNV  - Enhanced Shaders 161 (Nevada Skies edition) in root directory - Electro City - Nevada Interiors Overhaul - Lumenarium main file - Lumenarium's Nskies 6-3-0 esp replacer for original Nskies esp - Nskies 6-3-0 Data file HERE'S THE WEIRD BIT Last night I exited the game and (whilst at whits end) I opened the Blackout ENB rar and copied the enbpalette.bmp into the root directory, overwriting the Enhanced Shaders palette. My intention was to see what the palette would change, I did not think it would fix the night-time bug. But when I re-loaded my most recent save, THIS HAPPENED... DARK NIGHT?? STOP!! HAMMER TIME! Joy-filled jumping was had. I walked around for a bit, took some screens, saved, exit and went to bed. THEN THIS MORNING... I loaded the game up to double-check it wasn't a miracle (I don't believe in God): the bright nights were back (I believe in God now). However, the bug was different. The game actually loaded in with the "dark night" working, but I noticed the Electro City lights weren't generated any glow. When I walked under the street-lamp, the map started slowly illuminating and within 10 seconds the bright nights were back. Goddamit. So, WHAT DOES THIS MEEEEAN? haha I'm at a loss. This is unlike any bug I've come across. - If I load a save where the dark night worked, it fades away once I walk under a light source. - If I load a save which already had bright nights, it loads with bright nights. I'm so confused, I want to cry... wah. Please supply any advice you can please!
