  1. So is scripting the only way to do this? I've equipped it through the console command in game and I've placed it in a chest in a world and it equipped it from there. It is physically there in the menu so technically it should work, just like how my other perks work, shouldn't it? If it does need scripts to work, I guess I need to learn some scripting... It's something I've been trying to avoid. heh
  2. I actually am using the "unarmed" weapon to do this
  3. I'm in the middle of my unarmed combat mod and everything is working the way I'd like it to. However, I have a disarm perk that is supposed to have a 15% chance of disarming opponents when you power attack. I have a magic effect that copies the other disarm and a disarm spell with 99 magnitude, GetRandomPercent none <= 15. Perk is set to this spell. Am I doing something wrong?
  4. I'm sorry, I misread you post... And I didn't realize that runemaster doesn't increase the amount of runes you can place. I really can't help you much without looking at CK, so I apologize. There are plenty of other modders who can help, so you should still be able to get what you need
  5. Im on my phone right now so I'll do my best to help by memory... When you are in CK, look in the perks column and find the rune perk in the long list. Double click. If it's the right one, you'll know by the name. Look at the lowest box section and click on the maximum rune ability. (Again I am not able to look at CK right now so I don't know the name). When you open that, on the right, you should see values and a box you can choose how to modify those values. Let me know if you succeed!
  6. I'm in the process of creating a mod that expands the unarmed aspect of the game without overhauling the entire game or writing scripts. I just want it to run off of the Fists of Steel perk and expand from that, and I'm expanding the light armor tree to have a new perk called Brawler that does the same as Fists of Steel... But with light bracers/gauntlets. The two perks will then have more traits to pick from. I have some ideas, which includes disarm chance with power attacks, elemental damage, and attack speed but that one has me stuck. I know there is a way to increase unarmed swing speed, but I can't find a way to do it because it doesn't go by weaponspeedmult. I'd also rather not create an invisible sword that uses unarmed animations either. It would also be a good to to add opinions to what you would like to see in a mod like this as well!
  7. A few months ago, I created an exploding arrow mod with several arrow types and exploding types. I got an idea from making this mod that would be much more immersive and probably more fun as well. I love the fact that you can poison weapons in skyrim, but I'd like to create a mod that you can craft a bundle of lingering poison arrows, frostbite arrows, chance to instakill... Etc. And I'd like to do all this without messing with the bow. I already have recipe ideas, but I'm not sure how to enchant arrows beyond making them explode with a certain type of damage. Also, I was thinking about a hybrid mage/Archer, where (again) instead of having a magical bow, the mage/Archer would instead shoot an arrow infused with frost damage that slows the enemy, for instance.
