IMHO due to the high sensitivity of modding SSE the option of installing simply the mods starting from the archive files in the mod folders managed by Vortex is quite dangerous. I have been modded Skyrim since the very beginning with Oldirm, when the mods were only few thousand, and I went on for some years, then I stopped and retook again, when SE version was released for some years until 2019. Then I stopped again and I started again a few time ago, when I discovered that the new version AE was released. I always decided to start from blank, with a new installation and something that could help me to get back my knowledge. I'm not ashamed to say that I found a great deal of help with STEP. I begun 7 days ago and now I'm quite close to finish, but with a lot of mods that aren't in the STEP guide, but I'm trying by myself because are awesome. Well, I have to say that a fresh new install is funny, and very relaxing. And the guys of STEP are great. What I want to say is that you should try to get some fun also from installing again everything. MO2 is a fantastic piece of code, literally. It is designed by someone who understands really what modding is, and for sure worth the effort to learn it deeply, because it will help a lot more. The first thing I suggest to do is to activate the function to manage the mod download diverting from Vortex to MO2. In this way you will be able to use the "visit on Nexus" function into the Vortex mod list (tha becomes a kind of "launcher browser"), so once once your browser will open the mod page, you will click on DOWNLOAD and get it with MO2. You will have to make a lot of ALT-TAB work, but I think that it will be funny (and a little bit boring too). Also you will enjoy the flexibility of MO2 that allows some "magic" things like to force the utility application to put their output into a mod and many other things like that. Also STEP's are really cool guys, so you may learn a lot of things also during this tedious process. I suggest to install all the tools and the tricks at least for the initial phase, that will allow you to have to software configured at the best. If you are an expert user of MO2 already, well, take only my advice to have fun however. Because, as well as it happens for travels, the most important thing is not to "play" a "perfect" Skyrim (well it's #2 goal of course!) but the journey, installing a great list of mods, just to arrive to "have" a "perfect" Skyrim game, running rocksolid. If you do not know STEP, take a look of their site. Simply great. P.S. Another tiny suggestion. Just provide yourself a small USB key to keep the files, because there are manu mods wich are huge. A 256 GB can be ok.

ElSopa you did a great work. No, sorry, MANY fantastic works. Thanks for your all mods.

Hello to the Community. I'm really fed up to listed to the voice of Balgruuf over tenth of characters. I mean that I'm looking for a good and skilled modder (or modders) to create a mod that changes all the characters voices where the same voice actor doubled tenth of characters. I'm available to do the low-level job, to create all the variants of the voices (I'm quite good with sound tools, filtering and post-processing), but I've never studied Creation kit. I think that it will be necessary to create a mod that will overcome all the NPCs in the game, so a very skilled modder (or modders) will be required. I repeat, I'm available to do the job of creating he variants of voice files that will be tedious and long. Is there anybody who want to participate with me to create such mod ? Thanks for any interest.

I'd like to use a mod that re-balance the prices of the sellers. I can't see that the selling price is one sixth of the purchasing price.
-
Check out on the NexusMods. THere are solutions for both your requests. 1. RomanceForAll 2. Many mods for Cora, like Emo, those by Ellise and last the very recent PrettyCora.

And, from my previous post I have forgotten a very important mod to do for a situation that REALLY MAKES NO SENSE!! CAN SOMEONE SWITCH OFF THE LIGHT THAT RYDER HAS ON HIS/HER FOREHEAD DURING COMBAT ? IN THE NIGHT OF HAVARL RYDER IS THE ONLY FIGHTER WELL VISIBLE BY EVERYBODY. EVERYONE KNOWS HIS POSITION BECAUSE HE HAS A LIGHTHOUSE ONTO HIS FOREHEAD !!! Is there a good soul which is capable to switch off the damn lighthouse ? Geezzzzzz
-
Well, you got the point. But for me the real problem in ammo compartment is the presence of the ammo dispensers.
-
Well, folks, I have some ideas about fixing some problems of the game. 1. Trade prices. When we sell something at one eight of the purchasing price I say that it is ridiculous. All the sales prices must be rebalanced. And I mean ALL of them. I can accept a gain from 10 to 25 percent of the seller prices. Not more. A modded weapon also should worth much more of a naked one, with a standard number of mod slots. It is quite impossible to make good money in Andromeda. 2. classic heat sink rebalanced. Why do I have to give up to a 50 or 60% of the ammo magazine if I install a old heat sink ? Doesn't make sense for me. 3. elimination of all the ammunition dispensers around the ALL the game. These dispensers do not make sense. How can an initiative compatible ammo dispenser be in a place that has never seen a Milkywayer before ? This mod could be used in conjunction with the classic heat sink rebalanced that I told before. A similar concept should be applied also to the energy cells. After a while they could recharge autonomously. Also this should be in line with a FACT: Kett (enemies in general) do NOT reload. Never. So why do I have to do it ? 4. More shields hardening and health regeneration speed and TOTAL elimination of the health dispensers all around the game. The fact is the same of point 3. One of the two options is only possible: you are a soldier in an alien world or you aren't. 5. Why in the name of Odin do I have to go to orbit anytime I return on my ship ? Figure that I have to go to take something, or deciding something, or for a mistake I have to go back to the planet surface, and all the people see me to come back with the entire barrack touch down again after five minutes I left.... It's embarrassing... 6. Please take away the orange starred mission marker hexagon from the center of my screen!! Please !!! Now the only way to do it is to uncheck the missions in the journal. 7. I'm a supertech warrior, so can someone explain to me why do I have to fight on Voeld looking for a Kett heater while I have to shoot the Kett bastards (owners of the stoves) that are trying to kill me ? It is ridiculous. I have a formidable power source that feeds my jetpack, and I can't divert a little energy to keep me warm; or cool on Elaaden. Do I say nonsenses ? Just remember that the lovely PeeBee goes around Voeld with the navel exposed, or Drack (that comes from the "sunny" Tuchanka) does the same practically naked under a pieced armor that leaves exposed many parts of the skin to the lovely frosty -50 Celsius degrees winds... 8. Am I the only one to notice that there is not a bathroom in Ryder quarters ? Nor a closet ? Normandy engineers were smarter than the Tempest ones. 9. Am I the only one to notice that on the Angara's screens all the text is in Milkywayer language ? Please replace these screens with some ANGARA'S text... More to come.... P.S. A BIG THANKS TO ALL THE MODDERS OF ANDROMEDA. YOU FOLKS ROCK. ALL OF YOU.

I hope that this is the right forum to give my opinion on the website missing features. If shouldn't be the right forum I ask to the moderator to move the post in the appropriate forum without flames, please. IMHO the web site is great, but some features are missing. 1. Search engine. The current search engine is poor, it doesn't admit typing mistakes. If I'm looking for "food" mods, but I mistakenly type "fod" I get no results, instead to see "did you mean "food" instead ?". 2. Mods Portfolio. Sometimes I stumble upon a mod that I'd like to install later. Take some note also should be nice, to describe why the mod is interesting (or why I found as such at that time....) 3. Mods Installed. I'd like to share my Load Order with other users, so a feature to tick the mods that I downloaded that are in my Load Order should be nice. A cooperation with the guys of LOOT who have a complete plug-ins database should be easy to implement. An application to upload a load order file to be digested by a server scanner weight less than a picture screening application. A function in NMM can be implemented with ease. 4. A vote for mods, from A to E, not just an endorsements. A vote should be completed by a line or two of comments to be valid. 5. Some new statistics. The most I miss more is the ratio downloads/endorsements. A new mod with few downloads, but a proportionally high number of endorsements may lead to a better understanding of the value of a mod and a better success of the mod, also if it is new. Another missing statistic is the time of mod usage: if I download and install a mod, then I take it away afer 15 minutes because I get problems or I don't like it or it does not what should be supposed to do, I I get a LOW USAGE mark. If some humble mod that makes just a bug-fix stays in my load order forever it gets a HIGH USAGE mark, and this raises the visible value of that mod. 6. Mod translations availability. The mod users community of foreign languages deserves to see immediately if a version in different languages is available. This flags could be managed by the mod offerers. In conclusion... I'd like to have more motivation to stay on Nexus, spending better my free-time, having more occasions to share my game passion with other users and friends. Just my 5 cents, ok ? However, thanks for your great job however. WHOW I WAS MISSING A POST SCRIPTUM: DON'T change to web site radically, it is great in this form. I hope you will redesign just to improve the things that are the weaker. Keep the Apple standpoint, just few improvements per time, and few design changes. Keep your style, that is great.

Hello. After having been a customer of this site since a lot of time I'd like to make one suggestion or two. I noticed that there are some excellent mods that, because they are very little known, also get very few endorsements. This is a pity, because these mods deserve very high marks, being well done and very useful. An example of this kind of mods are "Spell light radius" and "Magelight multicast". Please allow me to suggest to introduce a new kind of classification, that is the ratio between downloads and endorsements. Such a classification makes a more realistic view of the relation that exist between the number of downloaders and their appreciation of the mod. The second enhancement that allow me to suggest is related to the functioning of the history of a search-related query page. If I search for a term and I get some results, then I click on one of the pages suggested by the search, then I click "back" I cannot go at the page of the search, but at the home of the game. This is annoying because it requires to "open the link in another window" right-click every time, or the search results are lost. I suggest - if not possible in other way - to put the property TARGET in the URL of the search related links. Maybe also would be nice a parameter to require this into the configuration setup of the account. Thanks for the attention.

[Updated] New NMM version out, help us out and update to it (also, X R
Guba666 replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
Personally I'm going to update as requested, but should be nice from you a more "courageous" attitude. Why this software is still in "beta" ? Is this because you do not want to give up the possibility to avoid complaints saying "hey dude, is still a beta !" ?. So in my opinion time has come to release a version 1.0 "stable". The second point is that NMM has a number of problems that must be fixed, but the bigger one is the total lack of dialogue between users and developers. Now it is impossible to give suggestions and highlight the various problems (for instance the cryptic dialogues of the overwrites and the "equally named mods" problem and so on) which are there from the beginning and that it should be nice to see resolved. Here there is a whole community that uses NMM and Nexus and it is time to listen to it. If there is still such forum or something, I hasn't been able to find it, so the problem is greater because there is a resource that the people like me should like to visit, contribute, ask for fixes, give suggestions and so on and this resource is not visible. You guys are a bunch of good professionals, this is visible, but a little qualitative leap is required. I love Nexus and I will for sure continue to be a client of this service. Mine wants to be only a constructive criticism. Thanks for your efforts however. -
You could use a backup program like the great GoodSync 1. Install the games on the PCs you are going to use 2. create a Google Drive account and make both PCs access it 3. install a backup utility that syncs the game folder and the savegame folder into the google drive local mirror and schedule it running once every 10 minutes, or make it, manually launching the utility via shortcut on the desktop. 4. google drive will autonomously copy the updates into the remote folder, back and forth, The load list is residing into the game folder, so it should be fine.

Please Suggest a Mod You're Using!
Guba666 replied to Blockmaster27's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
Sorry, I did not understand that it was a request for mods about Oblivion. I read Immersive Weapons and Midas Magic in your list and thought that it was Skyrim. If you are interested in playing Skyrim I leave it. Otherwise I will delete this post. Sorry again. -
Please Suggest a Mod You're Using!
Guba666 replied to Blockmaster27's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
Frostfall (it changes radically your way of playing)Realistic Needs and Diseases (again, radical changes)Better Dynamic Snow (awesome new snow)Immersive Sounds Magic (some credible magic sounds)SMIM (beautiful enhancements in the meshes, really immersive and "solid")Craftable bedrollsBirds and Rocks (beautiful details)Glowing Finns (very in-lore magic appearance of fine arrows)High Quality Food and Ingredients (awesome details)Ruins Clutter Improvements (wonderful details)Jewels of the Nord (beautiful details)Detailed Rugs (beautiful details)Deadly Dragons (finally some more realistic fighting with really powerful dragons)Wet and Cold (impossible to go out without it)Wet and Cold Ashes (for DB)Footprints (awesome: just try it!)Silly level of Detail (install all modules they are amazing)Amazing follower tweaks (at the end someone who added a good follower management system)Enhanced Distant terrain (the name says it all)Amulets of the Shout Master (why in the name of the Nine one should not be able to shout twice in a short time ?)Skyrim Community Uncapper ASISUnlimited Bookshelves (finally well placed books)Predator Vision Unread Books Glow (not having duplicates on my bookshelves)No more key prompts (no more "press E to harvest" or crap like that on the video)Pure Waters (after having tried many, this is my favorite)Realistic Ragdolls and Force (no more 44 magnum Callaghan-style arrow shots)Winter is Coming (a big fun crafting and selling cloaks that are cheap in materials and make a lot of money!)Cloaks of Skyrim (awesome, the natural extension of the previous mod)Subliminal Traps (no more "HEY! I have placed a trap and it is HERE" marks on the traps in dungeons and mines)ABT - Arrows and Bolts Tweaks (deadly arrows, as it should be)Longer Duration Crafting Potions (only 30 seconds to choose what to do when you make potions and enchant is absurd)Apocalypse Spell Package (for sure the most "intensive brain using" of the spells packages available IMHO. A LOT of fun also because it is possible to fight as a mage at very high level without being killed every 5 minutes. Greater Teleport is my favorite spell, because it changes radically the way you move in Skyrim.IMAGINATOR (which I fined tuned to a level that I made ENBs useless, at least for me. If you are interested in this mod I will post you my setup data)Conjurable Chest and Crafting Furniture Spells (the perfect luggage of the mage: once you have finished recovering all the crap that you pick up, you send it back to the Oblivion. Also if you need an Arcane Enchanter, an Alchemy lab and so on, and you are on the top of High Rothgar just, conjure it! Immersive HUD (so great. it makes also disappear the compass and those indicators that brake the immersion). No Sneak Attack sound (why the Bethesda designers decided to make a TUMP sound each time you hit someone in a sneak attack ? Bah!)A matter of time (you realize how much you need a visible clock only using it, especially with Frostfall and RND)Acquisitive soul gems (no more a petty soul into a grand gemstone)Automatic Variants (because creatures can't be the clones of each other ALL the time. I have installed almost all the variants available on the Nexus and I have not seen any problem in performance)WARZONES Civil unrest - such an incredible mod for the civil war. A M A Z I N G. a LOT of fun.Tribal Might ArmorMage ArmorImmersive Armors SKYrE - radical improvement in so many sectors that it is impossible to describe here. Modular! These are some of the mods I'm using. Many of these like Frostfall and Realistic Needs and SkyRe do change your style of play really radically. It seems to play a different game, because these are really immersive mods and a true challenge. The highest levels of these mods make the life really hard in Skyrim. All these mods are not really hitting the performances. Mine is a medium performance system. They are not as heavy as an ENB, and make the graphics, the details and so on so better with little or no effort. I suggest you to use Wrye Bash for the creation of the Bashed Patch only, and it is very easy to do. I hope to have suggested you some more fun with Skyrim. Stay so well. Guba
