I'm looking to create a mod for Skyrim for my coursework. I'm studying Music Production in the South of the UK and aiming to get into sound and music creation for games later on down the line. I'd ideally like to create a functional beta mod that I can play and record as a video file for my coursework. The deadline is June 10th 2014, so there is a reasonable amount of time; I understand mods take a lot of time and effort, so I'm not asking for anything particularly complex. However, I would like perhaps a small ruin to explore with different cues for tones of music, ie: new musical cues for enemies, perhaps musical "rewards" and "punishments" that are unique to that ruin. I'm not entirely sure that what I'm after is even possible, but suggestions and ideas are more than welcome. I would also be looking to find someone who will be able to help me pull this off: as a poor ass student, I'm afraid I can't offer much in the way of financial reward (I'm open to negotiation, but my budget is very tight) however I can offer a perspective that might persuade those of you with a more generous disposition: I want to help create games you love, I want to make the hours you dedicate to your games all the more epic, and this is where I'm learning how, by spending my university degree practicing my compositional and recording techniques to bring the sound tracks that will influence the way you experience every part of your gaming experience. But of course, that leaves me with next to no time to go about building a mod as well as completing the mountain of other work I have to get done to pass this year. So, tl;dr, I'm proposing a collaborative opportunity to build a new mod for Skyrim. It doesn't have to be big and epic, but we can all gain experience from it and if we create something to be proud of then all the better. Drop me a message if anyone is interested in this?
