  1. You need to edit the UV Mapping a bit in Blender since you have extended the body (or at least raised the belly button) and changed the depth of the abs.
  2. When a quest is shaded, it means it isn't available. It does not mean it is complete. When you complete a quest, it disappears from the list. Try going into Project Purity and see if you can activate the purifier.
  3. I don't think that's it because the only environment mod I have only changes the texture of the rocks, gravel, and roads. Anyone know how to modify the water? No water objects show up in the list for the cell and I can't select it.
  4. After completing the main storyline, the area where the purified water is coming out of the pipes isn't fully covered with the purified water. There are chunks of water still radiated. http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/9451/screenshot21m.png http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/1269/screenshot20w.png http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/4076/screenshot19b.png
  5. I guess a nice idea but New York is way over done. It's the base city for ALLOT of games. How about a Chicago? Then the Mafia idea would fit better.
  6. Open Cities for Oblivion was fun, how about for Fallout 3? Add some guards patrolling the perimeter and chilling at the front gate so that the civilians don't get raped by Deathclaws or huge hordes of Ghouls (in MMM). Another cool feature would be to add a radio signal that auto-plays when a city is in need of help. Not when like 5 things attack that the guards can handle, but a big horde of 20 that over power the guards and pose a real threat to the city.
  7. How can I make an item give an AP bonus without needing to use, wear, or eat it? Like the Deathclaw Control Scrambler except it gives an AP bonus instead of control enclave deathclaws.
  8. it happens when the meshes/textures aren't installed correctly. Try installing CRI to an empty folder and then create a package using FOMM.
  9. Lol. Yeah I figured out that you can use the keyboard for the mods that require keyboard input but I still can't use ~ or Print Screen. I guess it's good enough.
  10. Is there a way to use keyboard controls as well as controller? It's annoying when there are mods that require to press a key on the keyboard when I use a controller for playing. Or if I want to use the console I have to switch the controller off every time.
  11. I'm guessing you haven created a new 1st person file. If you have created the 1st Person Model Object: a1. Open GECK a2. Check the box beside the .esp that contains the gun you are replacing and set as Active file. a3. Locate the gun under Items->Weapon->Weapons and right-click. Select 'Edit'. a4. Direct the Model to the M468 .NIF file. a5. Direct the 1st Person Model Object drop down box to the M468. a6. Apply and Save. -------------------------------------------------------------------- If you haven't created the 1st Person Model Object yet: b1. Navigate to Static->Weapons. b2. Right click and select 'New'. b3. Put in a custom ID. i.e. '1stPersonM468' b4. Direct the Model to the same one you used on step a4. b5. Click 'OK'. b6. See a5. b7. Apply and Save. Hopefully that should work.
  12. I'm using Megaton House & Theme Overhaul and wish to remove the individual portals to stop the flickering when passing through a gap in between portals. What should I be looking for in G.E.C.K so I could remove them? EDIT1: I tried deleting all the portal markers but now i can only see 1 level at a time. EDIT2: I deleted Portal Markers AND Room Markers and now I can see everything without any flickering.
  13. Looked through the comments on the file page and have found the fix. After doing that I just went back to the house, pressed ~, clicked on Wadsworth, and used the resurrect command. The mod is now working and I have Wadsworth back!
  14. I downloaded Megaton House Overhaul and I am now crashing when I try to load my previous game. I cleared out the whole house of any objects that could be picked up but still crashes. How can I use this mod without having to start a new game? EDIT: I wonder if disowning the house and resetting the quest through commands will work. Anyone know how I could disown the house? I already know how to reset quests. EDIT2: I have tried resetting 'The Power of the Atom', removing all quest related items from inventory, but the house is sill mine. Any suggestions are welcome.
  15. I started up Fallout 3 and when I loaded my last save, I noticed that the music from the main menu is still playing while I was walking around. Is there a fix for this?
  16. I have DarNified UI installed and for some reason there is a problem with the Status page on the Pipboy. I am unable to apply Stimpacks, Radaway, Rad-X, or go into Limbs. When I disable the esp from load order, I am able to do those things. Is there a hotfix out there for controller users? EDIT: I have reactivated it and apparently it is now working...
  17. This is not the recommended way to install mods (FOMM is) but try just extracting the files directly to the Data folder. Operation Anchorage is required to use this mod.
  18. If it did work, you should have gotten a note about Arefu Expanded and a quest would have been activated.
  19. Try running Archive Invalidation Invalidator again. Other then that, I'm at a loss. Sorry.
  20. Ah so you just extracted the files straight to the Data folder the first time? All you need to do is delete those files from the Data folder and then continue from Step 3.
  21. (Made a new post so that OP gets an email if he's watching this thread) Arefu Expanded is working for me. I'll ask questions and give answers. If you have more questions that isn't below, ask me and I will try to help. Q) Do you have the latest patch for Fallout 3 installed? A) If not, go to Bethesda Download Page and get the latest patch. Just run the .exe. Q) Did you download both files listed as Required? A) If not, go to Arefu Expanded and download 'Arefu Expanded v1_7a - Data Files' and 'Arefu Expanded v1_7d - ESP and ESM files'. Q) Did you try remaking the package in FOMM? A) If not, delete the package and try again. .....1) Make a new folder named 'Arefu Expanded' and extract both of the .zip's from above into that one folder. .....2) Open FOMM, go to Package manager and delete the existing Arefu Expanded package. .....3) Click 'create from folder' and navigate to the Arefu Expanded folder and click 'OK'. .....4) After it has finished, click on the newly made package and click Activate. .....5) Close Package manager and make sure Arefu Expanded is checked. .....6) Close FOMM and open Fallout 3. .....7) Go to Data Files and check if Arefu Expanded is there and checked. Hope I helped. I'll keep this thread watched so if you are having any problems I will know.
  22. To answer the animation question, all you need to do is extract the files to 'Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data\'. No esp or esm is needed. If you have other mods that change a mesh, I suggest extracting 'characters' instead of the first folder named 'meshes'. Extracting 'meshes' might replace everything inside the already-made meshes folder. Let me take a look at Arefu Expanded and see if it works for me, if not then I will try to rebuild the .esp.
  23. Quick bump. Need help with this as soon as possible.
  24. Thanks for the help. I got it working and wow I never noticed how bad the original texture looked until i saw the two side by side.
