Hello. I'm bad at explaining things so hear me out, I want to make a mod. Well obviously, this is a modding site, people make mods here. But since I've never actually MADE a mod I feel I may have accidentally bitten off more than I can chew. By 'accidentally' I mean I tried to eat the whole elephant. So here's the deal, I had this brilliant idea of wanting to make a custom player race mod with armor and weapons, what of? Halo Spartans of course. How many separate meshes are there? 566 After a long period of time getting everything adjusted to the spartan body and skeleton so that it looks nice I scale it up to the skyrim body only to find that the knees are up higher on the spartan body then on the skyrim one, there are two solutions for me: 1: Go through EVERY LAST PIECE of leg armor and adjust it down to match the Skyrim knee height. 2: Create custom skeletons and animations for everything. Here is my problem: 1: both are tedious and will take too long 2: I have no knowledge of creating custom skeletons for a skyrim format 3: I am a n00b and deserve to be punched for trying to make an idiotically huge mod as my first mod.
