I think you should creat a new file and change the extension to ini and then replace the old "SkyrimPrefs.ini" file. That should fix the access denied in most case. Check it for what exactly ^^ sorry I'm pretty new to this and yes I am running nmm as an admin.

I wasn't sure where to put this so I thought I'd just ask on the forums. I downloaded the NMM and installed a Mod that I wanted, Aesir Armor, any way after I installed it and opened up skyrim and nothing was there no map maker as promised so I looked around and couldn't find the dungeon, still nothing. So I reopened NMM and the box for it has been unchecked so I repeated the whoke process again and checked and the box was unchecked again I've tried uninstalling a reinstalling the mod nothing happened I tried a different mod to see if it was just that mod and that doesn't work either I also tried opening skyrim with the NMM open and both boxes ticked and still it's not working so I'm not sure what is wrong please help me.
