I am trying to make a companion mod but am running into trouble getting it done. If anyone has some spare time and any knowledge of making a companion in Fallout 4 would mind sending some PM's back and forth please let me know.

Any suggestions or if anyone can link a tutorial or something it would really help me out. I have been trying for a few days to figure it out myself but is kinda hard when I have no idea what I am looking for. :wallbash:

Yup, They were all in there own folders in the same directory as the main one. All unzipped and ready to go now. Thanks again

Thank you. After about an hour or so trying to figure out why I didn't have any zip files in my scripts folder, I found that my creation kit install was not in my Fallout 4 root folder which made the scripts not show up. after an uninstall and reinstall of the CK, everything is good to go now.

I am brand new to making custom weapons in any bethesda game and I need some assistance with making a weapon in nifskope or 3dsmax. I just want to create a paintbrush weapon that acts like a knife. I try to bring up a knife from fallout 4 but they are broken up because of the weapon mods. Any help I can get with making an npc hold it and use it like a knife would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am in need of help from any willing soul. Just to be clear I am new to editing meshes and textures but not the CS. I am trying to make a paintbrush as a weapon with a knife as a template (paintbrush acts like a knife). I tried watching a tutorial from New Vegas modding but it seems it is a bit different now and the bounding box will not show up. Also when I try to extract the knife to try and copy from, I can only get parts of the knife and not the whole thing. I am assuming this is because of the in game weapon mods and it has to be separated for that. I thought it would be an easy task and I am sure it is but I just cannot figure it out. Again, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

if you mean the modders resource then no. i did the elevator myself.

I am trying to get the washington monument elevator system to work in my vault mod. i want the elevator to start at the top and go down instead of the normal way it goes (down to up). When i hit the button up top it moves me to the bottom in the other cell with the door shut and i hit the button inside the elevator and the shut door animation plays and the elevator goes to the top. then it all work fine after that. anyone have any thoughts on how to make it work correctlly? i attached the scripts im using now and the original ones form the washington monument.
