There were no problems prior to the update, so there is no way the issue is with anything else. The only way I can play now is to go back to earlier version of Vortex (which I have done). saurusmaximus, I'm rather dense. I don't understand a word you said. All I know is when I pull up the preset tab in showracemenu, my presets show up, but they won't load. My wood elf character shows up as a Nord. Help, please.

OK, problem solved by Bethesda. It was a problem with Xonar DG sound card. If you are having this same problem with this same sound card, then be sure to turn off the 'GX' mode.

Hello everyone. I just don't know what else to try. Except for Unofficial Oblivion Patch, there are no mods running. Without using the UOP, the game crashes. Using UOP, I can get the game going. Character creation goes OK, but when in the cell I hit LMB to raise the hands and then hit LMB again, the game crashes. There are no mouse issues outside the game. I have reinstalled the game. I completely deleted the Oblivion folder after deleting local content. I deleted the saved games. I deleted the ini file. Any ideas? Thanks.

Slangens, It worked for a while and then the game stopped working with nothing changed. I don't know if it had anything to do with Darn or not, but I'm just getting rid of it. Thanks for your help. :)

Slangens, Not using HUD Status Bars mod. When I try to create an omod, it never loads into the large box below 'add archive', 'add folder', etc. like all the other omods do. Anyway, will try to find hud_main_menu,xml file in the zip file. Thanks you. Will let you know how it goes.

Hello everyone, I have been playing a new game after a few years layoff. Back then, I had Darn UI running fine. Now, every time I start the game, it goes through all the load screens and when the game is supposed to start *bam* CTD. I have searched all problems regarding Darn Ui that i could find, but nothing seems to be out there as possibilities except a font issue. It isn't a font issue. It is definitely Darn crashing the game because it runs fine without it. Wrye is all green. OMM shows no conflicts. Any ideas? Everything (game and all patches, OBSE, etc) is up-to-date.

Hello everyone, I don't want to appear mean-spirited or critical of anyone's work because I have nothing but the highest regard for the work that is done; however, I was wondering why the load order for the unofficial patches are wrong in BOSS. Every time a change is made and BOSS is re-run, the load order gets messed up and the game won't work until the load order is run again. Does anyone know how to contact the folks at BOSS to inquire about fixing this? Thank you.

Thank you Hyacathus & Kleinstaff, I had Catagorized Favotites Menu installed as well as SkyUI. After I removed CFM, everything was back to the way I want it. Thanks again to both of you.

Hello Everyone, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this topic. While playing previously with Skyrim, there was a groups section within the favorites menu. There were 8 boxes below the favorites and you could assign armors, weapons, spells, etc. With the press of one key, you could change from one armor / weapon choice to another. It was a lot better than the Cat. Fav. mod. I don't recall deleting anything, but it is no longer in my game, and I cannot find it searching mods / images. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.
