I thought this might help solving the NMM issue: I earlier observed that somehow NMM's download manager/algo was able to bypass my ISP's speed restrictions. It downloaded in a way that each individual download was consuming the max allocated bandwidth for me. Thats really amazing and I wish I could know the secret but I wont. Just wanted to tell that it could be a case of coding and addressing downloads the way NMM does. Hope it helps. [NB. I am a noob in such cases but hope that you pros will see through what I can't.]
