  1. Hi there, as an Ingress agent I wanted to add some lore-unfriendly items to the Skyrim world, e.g. a Resistance tattoo for my character etc., so I decided to start becoming a modder  I use MO. I installed the CreationKit via Steam, checked the path in MO and started it via MO. When loading skyrim.esm I get 3 assertions after 99% were loaded: --------------------------- Assertion --------------------------- Assert File: ..\TES Shared\misc\BGSLocalizedString.cpp Line: 2871 LOCALIZATION: Error opening or reading strings file. --------------------------- Assertion --------------------------- Assert File: ..\TES Shared\misc\BGSLocalizedString.cpp Line: 2883 Failed to allocate entry array. --------------------------- Assertion --------------------------- Assert File: c:\projects\sbailey_buildfarm09\tesv\current\bssystem\BSTSmartPointer.h Line: 167 Null pointer Then it crashes. In case I click Ignore instead of Cancel on the first assertion dialog it crashes imediately. Since there is no path c:\projects\... and I cannot find any of the named files on my PC I checked the SkyrimEditor.ini for any path related entries but all paths found seems to be relative. I'm familiar in coding and scripting in several languages and a long time mod user, but completely new in active modding. I tried to search for info but most I've found had gutefrage.net/answers.com-style, so before I loose hours I thought I ask here, even that it may be a gutefrage.net/answers.com-style question for you too
  2. Hi, I remodded my game and since a week or so I try to get everything gamerelated fine, like leveling, followers, pimping Breezehome etc. Today I mainly created potions, ate closly every available ingrediance, enchated weapons and armor and created some sets for quick access to light and heavy armor, vampire fights or nice looking in the town. To whom I'm talking about? You know, what I mean, you're addicted, too  However, for the last 2 hours I don't get rid of some blur or speed effect that might remain from my high enchanted clothing. I already dropped all weapons and clothing. There is no time related spell or so active, but I still have some powers I'm not sure if I got all during regular gameplay. To speed up leveling and making everything nice I used the Rings of Power and some Cheating Chests. I've done this several times in the last years when creating a new setup, so I know how to get a clean save. And: it's days ago that I got rid of them. I attach two screenshots so you can have an eye to the blur effect and the list of active enchantments. Any idea? What about this infinite power? I now removed it via console, it's gone, but nothing else happened. Frank
