  1. You're likely not using the correct hair mod, or the correct version. It also seems something else is amuck with the chin, re-check the mods description page to see if everything matches with the required mods and versions of those mod where applicable. I hope this helps.
  2. Sounds like Texture issues with the hair. Possibly with the horses, but I can't be sure, definitely with the hair imo, whenever hair does that in a "Beth" game, it's a texture you need that did not get installed, or even that the texture file is a duplicate of another or improperly named. I would extract the mods manually and manually put the textures into your textures folder. Chances are you have manual install instructions in the readme of those mods. Try manually installing the horse mods, possibly ALL Oblivion mods since the game predated NMM, and even OBMM came out later than the game and might have had it's own issues with some mods. It could be the mod has sub-folders that are going into the main folders they are supposed too, but the game is not recognizing the files inside those subfolders. The LOOT issue to me is sort of like this..use BOSS, it's what we all used when that game was still newish. LOOT was released years later, so I can see how retrofitting it for an old game could cause issues with it not working properly.
  3. In response to post #35028890. #35036275, #35048520 are all replies on the same post. It may be semantics, but I don't think they are delaying the CK in order to sell more DLC, I rather think it was the marketing strategy all along to stretch profits as far into the future as possible. That isn't ridiculous, it's just business 101, and lines up with the first paragraph of your comment. Bethesda has decided that it makes more financial sense to wait until a DLC or two have been released before releasing the CK. The DLC's represent a nice boost in sales, while the CK represents better longevity of the product. Profits and staying power are both integral to the success of a company. Any delays we see are not on purpose so much a byproduct of trying to do so much with the time they have. Many departments given tight deadlines..it all has to come together almost miraculously tbh. One small delay in development/implementation of one thing, means a snowball effect everywhere else. Then the PR department has to come out and sell us on the idea that the delays are really a good thing after all...fun job.
  4. Try leveling without that mod enabled in Fomm. It worked for me. Strangely it was a one time problem. Once I got past the freeze without 20th century enabled, I've been able to level again 3 times now with that mod enabled. Unfortunately, since you will need to save your game after the level up without 20th century enabled, you will lose whatever weapons you've collected from that mod. You can console the weapons back into your inventory, or you can do like me and live without them and start collecting more. Thankfully this issue for me was just a one time deal and now it doesn't happen any longer. I have no idea why, as my load order was always in accordance to mod specifications. Also, while your at it, you may want to upgrade tot eh latest version of 20th century weapons.
  5. I have the "Dark" skin option clicked, so the site for me is about the same color as it was before, various tones of gray going to black with a dark granite outer edge. I think it looks as good, if not better than before tbh. Can't say much for the "original" skin though...my eyes!
  6. Change is good, looks nice! :-)
  7. I thought I would post this in a new topic since the issues has repeatedly come up without a clearcut "fixall" solution: For a quick and dirty workaround to this problem, regardless (I assume) of the cause, open the console after you allocate your skill points and use the "cam" command. This closes the level up menu. You can do this even after you pick your perk so long as you do not hit that ill fated "done" button. It won't give you the perk however, but it does record your level up and you continue the game till you gain the exp. for the next level, in which you repeat. This is for the poor souls like myself who have no mod conflict issues to try and workout, so troubleshooting this nasty problem simply isn't worth the time and effort. To address the resulting problem of not getting anymore perks, there is a mod called "perk remodeler" on nexus which allows you to add and remove perks at will. or there is again, a console command for that too, but the mod allows you to work in bulk as apposed to the one perk at a time console method. Hope this helps the next frustrated person.

  9. I think the key to successfully romancing the characters is being patient. As someone mentioned before, the game does not allow you to go beyond certain points before certain events occur. yes you can get Morrigan very interested and sleep with her early in the game, but still, not until you get past a couple of events and conversations that are instigated by events soon after Lothering. You can actually sleep with Morrigan at around 40 disposition if she is interested, but still it is only after certain events/conversations occur. Leliana can be tricky, but not really. She generally won't sleep with you until she is above 60 disposition, and only after certain events and conversations. you can't force some of these conversations simply by giving gifts and remaining in camp exhausting all over topics of conversations. I've had to leave camp, do other things for a period, and then re-visit many times to trigger certain things. You can kiss Leliana way before you can sleep with her, same with Alistair. The truth is that a companions disposition has only partly to do with events being triggered. You can have Leliana at 80 or 90 and still not have slept with her because you have not reached certain event triggered dialog. I've had Morrigan up to 65 before without having the join me in my tent option because of certain events which did not occur yet. Regarding breakups...it is possible to re-enter a romance that you ended with certain triggers. I've chosen Leliana over Morrigan before, taken the disposition hits from both, and entered a friends only relationship with Morrigan, only to re-spark the romance again by giving her the mirror later in the game and complimenting her on her beauty. this of course sets off another sequence of being confronted by either her or Leliana about you being the two timing male without a father that you are, lol, and yet another significant hit disposition. I'm actually currently finding out if there is a way around this second "hit" by doing things a certain way, we'll see. I've also heard, not tried, that if you break up with Leliana before you do her side quest with her ex gf Marjelaine or whatever her name is, that you can then choose certain post Marjelaine dialog to restart the romance again. Strategy regarding those big disposition hits after a breakup. Leliana is the most forgiving, you will not get a huge hit from her if you dump her for another. Morrigan can make you pay dearly though. I've seen screenshots of ppl getting hit for over -70 points! lol. I myself have gotten hit for a -41 before, and a couple times been double hit for a -20 and then a -30 after a subsequent convo about it. So I keep gifts in a storage unit for just such occasions, particularly special gifts. You can do the grimoire quest for Morrigan to get her disposition up to begin with, but if you plan to dump her at some point..don't give her that mirror till afterwards! lol. same with Leliana, save those flowers, or shoes, or whatever till it's really needed if you know you are going to do something to royally piss her off. Alistair is harder to do with with since one of his special gifts is not available to later in the game, but keep a couple totems or statuettes for those times when you know you're going to do something particularly detestable.
  10. pretty sure it's a rogue questline, and/or possibly triggered by a stealth or high cunning rating or something. Can't be certain but I am currently working on my 4th and 5th playthrough of the game, and out of 5 characters that have been that far, he's only appeared for one of them, which happened to be my only rogue I played. The contents of the chests are un-remarkable though, as I played through that questline to the end and can't even remember what was inside them, lol
