  1. Since Morrowind, it's seemed like the daedric artifacts are very much second rate shortcuts to get some nice gear early. Far from the godly artifacts of immense power the lore dictates that they are. First of all, they should be much harder to acquire, whether that be through a higher level requirement or some seriously revamped quests Secondly the should be weapons without equal, no weapon should really be as good as these - why would a god-like being give his champion a second rate weapon? Third you should be the envy or adversary of all! You should be frequently challenged or hunted for the daedric power you carry - having more than 2 artifacts at any one time should mean CONSTANT harassment from droves of cultists and vigilantes. Finally you should NOT be able to attain all of the artifacts on one character, having say Dawnbreaker and the Ebony Mail would be contradictory.
  2. In most books, films etc it seems that mages and wizards use one staff to cast all of their spells, so why not in Skyrim? I have, for a while now, been looking for a staff mod that casts a random/selected spell. One that can be used as a mage's all purpose magical weapon. It would be a little overpowered to have a staff that could cast all spells in the game straight away. Maybe you would have to know the spell already, or have to buy an enhancement to cast the different grades of spells - unlocked by attaining the skill level at which the respective tomes appear in vendors' lists. It would make a lot lot of sense to limit these staffs to one element, and to be very hard to get. I know that this would most likely require SKSE in which case there could be a bind-able key to switch between different known spell/random ones.
  3. Either/both, depending the player's eventual goal, I understand that these would most likely be two completely different mods, but becoming high king and then moving on to an imperial claim could possibly be an advantageous move.
  4. I always felt like this would be an amazing feature, to become the high king of skyrim. To create your own faction and declare yourself the true emperor by right as dragonborn. But I was astonished when I could find no such mod on the nexus. A modder could do so much with a theme such as that, they could put in a fully fledged army system, perhaps with the ability to customise your soldier's uniforms and weapons. Beggining by creating a small force and taking a fort, and moving on to persuading Jarl Balgruuf to join your cause. The blades would probably somewhat of a focus aswell, would they be loyal to the emperor that they served during their times of war? Or would they side with the dragonborn, as the original dragonguard of Reman Cyrodil would have? I think it would be a really amazing mod and I just hope someone has made/will make this mod, for all us roleplayers out there!
