I keep dying from a weird spell effect, whenever it comes up, mostly in about 2-3 minutes of gameplay making it unplayable at all, I hear a fireball sound about 2-3 times and then drop dead on the floor. I can't even play the damn game, it's also not any of the mods because when I disable them all It still happens

My character has a weird effect where I would load up a save and I can hear fireball explosions on me, but no one is attacking and then it hits me 3 times and i drop on the floor I really need this fix or it would be 70+ hours of gameplay gone..

I have made a topic of this before, and I think it's a spell effect and can't get it off me, it's like a fireball sound hitting me for 3 times then I drop dead, but no one is attacking me, I even tried disabling every single mod

The earliest save I have is at level 88, I guess it will have to do then, I also tried looking through my spell effects, and none are negative. edit: I even tried uninstalling all mods and going back to the save, not working, the only thing I can do now is start anew. /sigh 70 hours of gameplay down the drain.

So I load up my save, currently level 119, a couple of mods, I tried disabling ones that I would think caused the trouble but none seem to be the issue. I also don't want to disable all the mods since that would remove all of my modded armors/weapons. So the problem is, when I load up my save, I start walking around, the screen starts beeping orange/yellow and then I hear the fireball sound twice or more and then drop dead on the floor. I did make a new character and that has no issues so I doubt it would be a mod issue. I would love to get this fixed asap.

It's kind of back now I think, may take a bit longer for the mod to download

In response to post #10467738. #10467842 is also a reply to the same post. Yes, indeed but some mods have the customisation option when downloading with NMM which can't be done manually. There is absolutely nothing that cannot be done without NMM. NMM is a new program and is actually still a beta program. For years modders have been downloading and installing mods, and many with multiple customization features without a mod manager, in fact, many of these older mods with custom install features still do not work with NMM and MUST be installed manually to get the customizations - read the install instructions and often they give specific instructions on installing manually. Same thing happening for me. Edit: found a workaround for this, instead of using continue, use load to get back in your game. works for me! :)
