  1. Hi, so I am making this topic to see if I can learn a way to figure out an issue I was having. I was working on a companion mod. Said companion had a pet mutant hound. I noticed during fights that when said mutant hound pet would get dropped to zero health it would instantly get its heal refilled. This was a bit problematic it means that this creature is unstoppable. It was slightly hilarious at first but I felt it was a bit op. After talking to some people the reason he would not entered a downed state was because mutant hounds have no downed animation. I thought huh, and looking into it most enemies dont have a downed state at least not most animals and creatures. I was wanting to figure out how I could give an enemy type a downed animation. I was planning to use other animations in game to do this but I have no idea where to start or what to do. Any help would be great.
  2. Hi so I made a mod recently which allows players to have a gen 2 synth as a companion. The mod works fine for the most part but I ran into an issue with the synth that I cant figure out. He wont use power armor. I checked the power armor frame and it says it is wearable by gen 1, 2 and nic valentine synth races but my synth companion wont enter the armor. Their are even animations for a gen 2 synth to enter power armor in the files.   3. So I am thinking of removing the 50 happiness cap on robot settlers. Does anyone know how I would go about doing that?
  4. yeah, I just downloaded it. I also found a way to fix a bug I was encountering with the tunnel snakes esm. so it all worked out. Thanks.
  5. I have the lastest version of NMM. The problem is I also can't uncheck those mods. I have a weird gamebreaking bug with out of time when Tunnel snakes esm is checked and loaded on NMM. So even if I change the load order I need to uncheck tunnel snakes and then reenable it later. I can't do that now because NMM is borked.
  6. So I am having an issue with my NMM and was hoping someone could help me. for fallout 4 I have some of the creation club content. The content is now showing up on my NMM and is grayed out.   7. So I figured out a solution its an issue with a keyword. As for some of your advice most of its wrong, the way the creation kit works for fallout, and skyrim function very differently and you dont seem to even know much about fallout 4. Preston garvey can use any weapon in the game. The game has no weapon restrictions for human characters. Mutants weapon restrictions are based of of animations keywords, which is completely different.
  8. The issue is that all other super mutants can equip and use laser rifles without any issue. its not simply a template thing. its an issue with strong as well, he cannot equip the laser rifle. Mutants in older fallouts had a weapon list but in fallout 4 they did away with said list and made something new. the is no template to select or change.
  9. So I am working on a super mutant companion mod for fallout 4. I've run into a bit of an issue. For some reason the super mutant companion is unable to equip laser rifles. Does anyone know why this is occurring?
  10. Can Strong equip and use laser rifles? In my game he cannot, even though I see other super mutants using laser rifles.
  11. yeah, I found another way to temporarily fix the issue was to just change the paint of the automatron and its works out pretty well. Sucks that there is no permanent way to fix the issue yet.
  12. So I have been having an issue with my automatrons lately. whenever I start my game up they have a weird lightning/ electricity sparking off of a random body part. I have an image of the issue here https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/110246 Anyone know what is causing this? any tips on how to fix it?
  13. So I figured out that whatever is causing this bug is affecting the sentrybot meshes. This mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17518?tab=description when installed properly removed the light issue for me. Granted I am experiencing this other weird bug where my sentry bots legs have a weird spark effect happening underneath them.
  14. So I was working on one of my old new vegas companion mods. However after a certain point the creature companions will not spawn into the game world. I placed the into the world and gave them home references and I dont know why they wont spawn into the world. Any suggestions my human companions are working.
