  1. I started a new game in Enderal and installed some cosmetic mods with appropriate meshes + skeleton as well as the Rudy Enb for Enderal and made sure the recommended settings in Skyrimprefs.ini were set, but my character's hair, skin and clothes are exceedingly shiny: http://i.imgur.com/eKjaRyd.jpg I use Enderal Optimized Textures for everything else and none of their screenshots show up like this; Also, the character's shiny face only shows up when I change her complexion from 1 to 0 again in showracemenu. I never have this problem in Skyrim.
  2. Hullo. A quick overview of problem: Base: I use Nehrim (oblivion overhaul complete). Saw Nehrim screenshots with gorgeous ENB/some sort of graphics modifier. Tried to emulate. Failed. Miserably. OBSE properly installed. Proof; I run ORN successfully, which requires Blockhead. Using OBSE version for Steam Overlay. ENB: When installing ENB (injector version, playing on laptop, Intel Core 4000), I set enbinjector.ini to Oblivion.exe and OblivionLauncher.exe. HDR enabled, AA/SSAO etc. off. Followed ENB instructions to letter- tried Tweaked and Aeon. Problem: ENB won't start; there is no message in upper left corner of start menu screen saying ENB developed by Boris Vorontsov. Same for vanilla Oblivion, no Nehrim. Gave up after two hours of switching ENBs and playing with settings, Wrapper version (which does not work for Steam, which I have). Had installed injector and ENB files to game directory, like instructed. Next, tried OBGE: Installed OBGE Core and OBGE standalones manually. Still no changes to game. I already have the Runtime update. I'd like to get at least one of them, ENB or OBGE to work with Nehrim. I haven't yet made them work on vanilla Oblivion, either.
  3. I'm not referring to the gap- I mean the skin textures/color. The head is perfectly healthy, but upon the sexchange console command, the body turns into a default-looking washed out version of the head's color.
  4. Is there any way to avoid the grey skin issue when using Skyrim's sexchange command in the console? The neck seam doesn't bother me, and it can be hidden by armors, but there's always a frustrating mismatch between my character's head (of one sex) and their body (Of the opposite one).
  5. Let me love you. Or at least hug you. I was about to give up on the whole sodding thing when I came across your post, and blimey if it wasn't just in time after scrolling my way through DSR topics all on the same issue with Skyproc patching. Never could have imagined that particular mod/modset would cause compatibility problems. Fixed the problem for me!
  6. A while back, dreamburrow adapted Osare's summertime dress for a male body. I've been attempting to get it to work in game, but am having difficulty. Here is the post: http://dreamburrow.tumblr.com/tagged/real-men-wear-dresses I set my character to 0 weight in preparation, and started to fiddle around. At first, I thought all Dream meant by replacing a mesh was replacing the files- so I went in, moved the original clothes_0.nif and clothes_1.nif to a backup folder and replaced + renamed Dream's files to have the same names as the originals, leaving the clothesGND.nif behind as there was no separate file for that. Going in-game and navigating to QASmoke, however, yielded no apparent results. The dress looked perfect on the female vendor and did not show up on my male character (body turned invisible), when it was supposed to be the other way around. I've read some of the notes on Dream;s tumblr and it seemed like other people got it to work just fine. How?
  7. So, I had just won the battle for Whiterun; and got promoted to Quaestor by General Tullius. However, the quest log still says I need to report to him, but I have no new dialogue. Is this intended by the overhaul? Do I have to wait for something to happen, or is it a fixable bug? Also, is there a CWO thread? Just in case ;)
  8. Would also like to know... though on a previous save, for some unfathomable reason that went away on the problem hair. Now, on a new computer and new game, it's back.
  9. The news is depressing, but hey, at least I'm not the only one! Sometimes entering and exiting the game works for me; that's about it. Now I know not to try uninstalling animation mods, which could cause a bunch of screwups, like you said :P
  10. Quick overview of the problem: All characters free to wander around are stuck in a sitting position. They can talk; and followers will draw their weapons with me; but as soon as weapons are sheathed they return to sitting. Followers move to player upon fast travel. Disable/enable console commands do not help. No mods were installed/uninstalled in between the two save games I did. The only notable event I can think of is that I updated FNIS Behavior, with no unusual error messages. I run SKSE with FNIS. No sitting animation replacer mods installed; but I do use PC exclusive animation pack as well as other of xp32's animation replacers for the PC. I had Puppeteer Master by JohnB installed recently, but after uninstalling it I didn't get this problem; only several save games later.
