  1. So, I posted this thread shortly after the release of the modding tools whenever that was when voiced companions were... Likely to never work. So now that I've come back to the game, more or less, I think a companion mod involving the Norwegian Ghoul raiders on the Northern Star would be perhaps one of the coolest companion mods that can be. Voiced would, well... be preferable. English, speckled with a bit of Norwegian (Or hell, Swedish or Danish, since from my understanding, it's common for those 3 language groups to more or less understand each other). Probably also hella unlikely for this idea to come to fruition, but hey, someone made my "Throw a mine like a Frisbee" mod, so here's hoping.
  2. Heyyy, now that the creation kit is out and been around the block a few times, who wants to do this?
  3. So, playing BOS this time around in survival, and I just had an idea for it since I'm always dehydrated; what if you could store a water supply in your power armor? Thinking on it, it makes sense; there are a few real world gas masks that have drinking hoses so you are able to at least drink with it on, on account if you take it off... well... there goes your air protection. Why can't the power armor have an internal reservoir? There's nothing lore-wise that says otherwise, so it wouldn't exactly be lore breaking, either. Say, in survival, once you fill up, it takes away your need to drink for 24 hours, upon which you need to fill up again. Or it simply adds a weightless type of water item in your Aid section that has a limit cap, say, 10 Power Armor water, which could be dirty water or purified water, depending on where you fill. Make it a torso mod, or make the suits innately have it built in; either way, I think that'd be a great addition. Now, it'd make sense for every armor type to have this except raider (Let's face it, they'd be too dumb to fix that part of the suit).
  4. So, hopping into the Nuka World DLC, quite late to the party on that, and I run into Cito in the Safari Adventure place. I really like the guy. I was surprised that no one has taken the time to make him a recruitable companion yet! He's like Strong if he was human and wasn't an a**hole.
  5. That is exactly what I'm looking for! If that was somehow tied in to Demolitions Expert, that'd be awesome. I never actually use them as intended. Usually I'm running away from something and I just look back and throw it at them. Usually only hear one beep and whatever was chasing me is dead as disco, so to me, turning mines into frisbees makes sense.
  6. You know what would be sick? Throwing mines like a frisbee. Sure, they're not the most aerodynamic thing around, but you can kill people with teddy bears using the junkjet, so see that as you will. The idea is, increasing the range of the mine toss, making it longer than it's current one, but probably not as long as a grenade. This could either be a stand alone thing or have it be involved with a perk, which, while it would make most sense for it to be from the Explosives Expert perk, I feel it would fit better in something in the strength tree.
  7. This is probably the longest shot of the long shots ever known. But how cool would it be to have one of the ghouls from the FMS Northern Star become a companion? Voiced by a Norwegian guy (Or chick) in English (This is where it's the long shot; finding a Norwegian to do as such) and have them be the only of the crew that spoke any amount of English, with an added backstory. This would obviously need to be done after the GECK comes out and would obviously need some major planning, I just want to put the idea out there. Because I personally think this would be the coolest thing ever, and I feel like a lot of people would agree. EDIT: Or I guess any Nordic voice actors. From what I understand (Which, admittedly, is very little on the subject) the Nordic countries are very close to each other, to the point of being able to speak to each other using their own languages (Except the Finns) So it wouldn't be so farfetched to have members of the different countries on the ship.
