Might not b right place to post but...(my apologies). Issue is..when giving my adopted son a red tunic....it said item too heavy. What is up with that? Tried giving him a sweetroll and got same result. Any thoughts on how to correct this? TY

I have the Selene Mod and she provided me a horse. But my other followers don't have horses. If I purchase a horse from stable....so that my follower gets 1 too...is that gonna mess up Selene's horses? ie...if Selene and I and another follower are a group

Nothing I've tried has allowed me to make Lydia or Rayya my Steward. Some1 posted..kill her & then resurrect. But...aren't Housecarls "essential"? Anyway, I tried it on Rayya...typed in ...kill... but nothing happened. Typed in player.kill...and killed myself lol I can't get any of my Followers to accept the position either. Any other way to get animals onmy place?

I can't get Lydia nor Rayya to b my Steward & I'm using AFT. I see that these may not b compatible? Who might I could get to b my Steward? Thnx

I installed Skyrim by newly purchased retail disc on a newly purchased computer.. I have a Steam account, yes but wished to avoid going thru Steam again. Last time (by popular Forum comments) I must have gotten a bad DLC from Steam on the Dawnguard expansion. I had CTDs every 10 minutes. Was told I should install Skyrim by purchasing a new retail disc and not download thru Steam. So, I don't even know if I have the option to do what you're suggesting here?? Where is this verify? How would I disable SKSE (it's not an esp)? And I did use the installer version (following youtube video of how to do it). Error says" SkyUI not running properly--- Skyrim version is a newer version than SKSE." Sorry to keep asking but the potential here with SKSE has spoiled me. lol (I can show u picture of error message but it wouldn't let me paste it here. Tell me how to put message on here and I'll do that if any1 needs to see exact error. Thnx

Oh, I read them many times: checked numerous posts on forums about it, and watched a few videos. You and I both know there is more to it than that. Actually, (just to be safe) I did use NMM right at the end (in case of an uninstall). SKSE is on but something about latest versions not compatible and be patient till we update to match Skyrim. Such a bummer . lol

Solved this issue (but couldn't honestly tell you exactly how---trial & error). :)

I was able to adopt Lucia but no luck whatsoever with Mila.

I put SKSE 1_06_09 into the folder ( which had Skyrim Launcher and TESV in it) and hit skse_launcher and got message ...could not find TESV. Now, why is that? plz Or perhaps even better and more to the point...how do I "fix" this? TY

Yes I did purchase from Proventus the childs bedroom and gave up the Alchemy room. Asked Mila again today and she wanted to play a game. Hard to believe that was a one chance opportunity. If I had known, I would've purchased Breezehome first an d then spoken to Mila. U sure there is no way to reset this?

I need a way to take off that default gear. I thought UNP did that? When my companions zone, the default gear is put back on. Perhaps UNP isn't installed correctly? Some1 with Windows7 manual mod install experience, plz tell me how to do it. Not use to Windows7 and maybe I did it wrong. And why want NMM install it correctly anyway? I got no options at all going thru NMM. That's when I went manually(no options there either) and got some results but it doesn't look like UNP Skinny and I had to use console command removeallitems (which worked for Aurora but not Lydia and Serana) and then I tried let'sgetnaked and that didn't work. Then tried showinventory and removeitem on Lydia but she was still wearing bra and panties. This wasn't the case last I played. But I don't know what/how I did it and that was with Windows XP.

I've come back with a new computer to try and finish Dawnguard and do the other 2 also. When arriving in Whiterun for first time the child Mila ran by and I clicked her just to speak. I didn't know of this adoption thing and the option for adoption came up in my dialogue. She asked if I had a home and (at that time I did not), so I said no and she ran off. After purchasing Breezehome, I tried to ask her again but that option apparently was a one-time only? Is there a way to reset it?

How do I install NMM on Windows 7? It recommends moving the Install Info out of Program Files and into Games\Mod Manager Info\ Install Info. But when I tried that..it said I had to have Admin Privileges. But that was "not' recommended by Windows as an option (but it was listed as an option. Plz advise. TY
