  2. my version of blender doesn't have a nif import and export option.
  3. well, im trying to make a mod where there is a s***-ton of name brand clothes. i wanted to add shoes to the game so i made a mesh for them and textured them (when i textured them, i textured them in unused spots on the shirt and pants texture that was already in the game. its the shirt and pants with the perfect t-shirt.) i placed the mesh under the already there shirt and pants mesh in blender. them i combined them. i exported them, put them in the place of the previous shirt, shoes and boots, and saved it. when i did that, i put them into the geck and started up the game. when i put it on, it was all kinds of crazy. it was stretched out behind my guy and was layed out on the ground. when i walked, it moved with my guy but was all f***ed up. i tried looking for forum post for this but couldn't find any. i even tried sending messages to armor moders but they never said anything back. please help me.
  4. jazzisparis, you are wrong. what i do is when im done the mesh (i use blender by the way but it should work the same for you), i export it as a 3ds. then open up a blank nifscope window. import the 3ds into the black nifscope window. then, click the drop-down next to the ni tri shape(if you don't know what this is, its the first thing that pops up in the block list window when you import the mesh) and if dident do any textureing, it should have 2 items. the material(this has the painter thing beside it) and the mesh data. right-click the mesh data and go down to block, then click copy, not copy branch. next, open up the nif file that you got the gun mesh out of, or open up the nif file that is closest to what you made. find the main ni tri strip (the one that the main body is, and you can know this by clicking the weapons main body in the viewing window) and right-click it, go to mesh and click triangulate. then find the mesh data inside that folder (click the drop-down first) and right-click it, go to block and click paste over. then all you have to do is move the mesh into place and save it. (if it dident work, then personal message me).
  5. I CANNOT FIGURE THIS OUT! i tried the thing where you go into the nitristrip data and it dident work! i changed all of them to black and it still comes up green in game. does anyone know how to do this? i want to make the plasma black.
