  1. In the CK I can make the lights so bright that it just makes everything white, I need to wear sunglasses to look at it. But when I go in to the game, my house is still pitch black. Yes, I'm saving it. This is my first experience messing with lights, so maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what. I've watched several videos on just the lighting aspect of the CK, and I still don't know why I can brighten the lights in the CK but then it's dark in the house. Is there some secret I'm missing out on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I'm trying to add an oven to one of my houses, but there is no "oven" listed in the CK list (unless it's called something else). I know it was added later with either the Hearthfire or the Dawnguard expansions. So I tried to load those master files in to the CK but the CK just crashes everytime I do. So what's the secret to loading the Hearthfire and Dawnguard master files in to the CK?
  3. I like this Hjerim house mod the most. But I want to make a few tweeks to it to suit my own taste. But I can't get it to load in the Creation Kit. For some reason it keeps checking several boxes in the data files when I make the mod active and it closes because to many master files are checked. So is there a way around this? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19974//?
  4. I was thinking about putting sexy Whiterun (and the other cities) last, since they only do the cities while the other mods do the whole enviroment. That way I would just be overwriting the cities. Or am I wrong in thinking that?
  5. I don't know if I need all of these or not, it's not from a performance stand point, I have been running them all just fine. I just don't know if I need them all. They all seem to do the same thing, yet they all do different things too. If it's a good idea to have them all or most of them, is there a certain load order I should have them in? I'm wondering if I'm just overwriting the previous one when I install the next mod. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/7059//? (plus the other city mods listed here I have installed too) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1598//? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/607//? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/141//? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24307//? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/8655/?tab=1&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D8655%26preview%3D&pUp=1
  6. Now that I thought about it, do I even need the SKSE? I just ran over all my mods and don't see any that requires it. Is it something that I need in the background? I'm not sure what it does anyway.
  7. I don't think I did, but I don't remember how if it wasn't with the NMM. I can just uninstall it too I suppose.
  8. I wonder if there are any SKSE files I need to get rid of too.
  9. After reading all that it seems a lot easier to just uninstall everything a download it again.
  10. Over the past couple of months my Skyrim game has become so corrupted because of my downloading and removing mods, nothing is working right anymore. For the past couple of weeks all I've been doing is testing mods to see which ones I want and which ones I'm going to re-install. I'm going to start over from scratch. But I don't want any embedded files hanging around to screw up stuff in the future. I don't know if just deleting Skyrim, the NMM and Steam would be enough or not. Do I need to reformat my hard drive to make sure, or would that be enough? Or do I need to do other things too?
  11. In cell view, in the drop down, if I leave it on interiors I can go down and see WindhelmHjerim*. It shows me the original layout of the house. If I change it to Windhelm World, there is no Hjerim on the list.
  12. I'm curious, by chance did you uninstall the game, or just Steam?
  13. I can't find anything that says exterior, only interior.
  14. It takes me outside, just like the generic version of the house. When I walk in, it also puts me in the same spot as the generic house would.
  15. I'm just going to assume that you can't mod a modded house that is in the city.
