Permission is required if the compatibility patch modifies the other persons work... err on the side of caution and keep your mod hidden until the mod author contacts you. It's not worth getting a formal warning or ban.

Are you using any mods that effect idle animations? If so try disabling these mods and see if there are any changes. If this doesn't work than I don't know what else to suggest.

http://i1267.photobucket.com/albums/jj553/jaimekelly76/welcome_zps87427c13.gif You've come to the right place... there is a lot of opportunity to learn and have fun here and the members in the Nexus community are very helpful. I wish you all the best in your future modding endeavors.

If you click "yes to all" it will overwrite any previously installed files of the same thing. I recommend following the installation instructions in the mods read me text file... if the mod author provides a read me in the folder. There is no harm in clicking the "yes to all" especially if it's a texture pack or a replacer... like armour, weapons, body... etc. If you don't the mod will not work properly. Looking over the read me should give you a better idea what the mod does... It's time well invested. :)

Still having the same issue... sorry to hear it. I don't know if this is the right mod to fix this issue but it's still a good mod to have especially if you are using mods that have their own distantLOD's. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/15781/?

The console command to use is modpcs <skill> <number> ... for example: modpcs HeavyArmor 10... this will add 10 skill points to your heavy armor.

I found this solution on the UESP Wiki site for quest "Ill Met By Moonlight" You mentioned you tried teleporting him to the Grotto but it didn't work... maybe just moving him out of the jail cell like mentioned in the above quote might do the trick. I hope this helps.

How do I make raised lakes in the main 'Tamriel' exterior?
Carah replied to AlphaZerox's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
I can only offer you an alternative because I'm not much of a landscaper when it comes to modding but I found Texian's Static Water Meshes to be very helpful, especially if you don't want to mess around with the water plane in the CS. I searched for a tutorial and couldn't find anything that would be helpful, but I did find this post from an outdated thread here in Nexus that might work -
If you're installing the mod through NMM it sounds like it's not installing it properly. Have you tried installing Better Dungeons manually?

What's causing this and how do I fix it?
Carah replied to StyrkrMunr's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
I wish I could help but I've never come across this kind of issue and I'm sure it's stumped other members, as well. You don't have a heavily modded game, therefore the only thing I can suggest is to completely start from scratch. Here is a great tutorial by Bben46 on how to properly uninstall and reinstall Oblivion: Oblivion Reinstall Procedure What I would do after doing what the tutorial instructed is install one mod, than go in the game and see if the problem lies with the mod just added. Do this with all the mods you plan on installing to your new game, until you find what's causing the issue. Good luck -

It sounds right to me, but don't skip the steps "Update All Tangent Spaces" and "Remove Bogus Nodes" before saving and adding the mesh to the game. In the link I posted earlier follow the last step called "Finishing Up"... imo, it's the most important step. Good luck. I would skip the Archive Invalidation.

This tutorial seems pretty straight forward http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/NifSkope_customise_an_outfit_for_beginners I wondering if archive invalidation might be causing the issue.

I've had similar issues with mods using separate world spaces, and the problem was my load order. I don't know if BOSS will help, but it's worth giving it a try and it should set your load order straight and fix the land. If you don't have BOSS you can get it here: https://github.com/boss-developers/boss/releases/tag/v2.2.0 Good luck.

The pool is outside by The Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary Falkreath entrance. Travel northwest from Falkreath... you don't have to travel too far... when you find the door you find the pool. :)

I would definitely go back to the past and remove all the literature from the Library of Alexandria before it was burned to the ground. I wouldn't take the literature back with me to the present, but hide it in a cave for archaeologist to find... hopefully. :) I know this wouldn't be possible but it's fun to imagine. ;)

Shivering Isles Missing Meshes And Textures Problem
Carah replied to ArxVallium's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
I don't know if this will help, but try adding the Shivering Isles bsa's to the Construction Set.ini located in the My Games/ Oblivion Folder. The bsa's should be listed under the header [Archive] in the ini... below is an example. [Archive] SArchiveList=Oblivion - Meshes.bsa, Oblivion - Textures - Compressed.bsa, Oblivion - Sounds.bsa, Oblivion - Voices1.bsa, Oblivion - Voices2.bsa, Oblivion - Misc.bsa, DLCShiveringIsles - Meshes.bsa, DLCShiveringIsles - Sounds.bsa, DLCShiveringIsles - Textures.bsa, DLCShiveringIsles - Voices.bsa If you do this please back-up your Construction Set.ini before you make any changes to it. I hope this helps. -
So happy to here it.

Hmmm... it's been awhile since I used NifSkope for Skyrim, but if I remember correctly you need to find BSShaderTextureSet in the Block List window... click onto it and it should show the Texture slot in the Block Details window. Here is a visual that might help. :) http://i1267.photobucket.com/albums/jj553/jaimekelly76/TextureSlotExample_zps05ab9143.jpg

This mod might help BSA Browser by Fawzib Rojas All you need to do is open the Skyrim - Meshes.bsa using this program, after the BSA Browser loads all the meshes... find the mesh you want to extract, click onto it, then in the menu bar select Action. If you choose "Extract" it will move the mesh to it's original directory in the Skyrim/ Data. If you choose "Extract To" the program will give you a directory of your choice (here you can extract the mesh into your own temporary folder). Hope this helps. :)
