  1. Think I fixed it - I did a complete reinstall of the game and all of the mods. I spent a long time going through EVERY last mod page reading everything to be sure it was all done correct. Been playing for about 3 hours and have had no crashes!
  2. Hm. I don't think GPU at 100% load (or close by) is an issue - it's quite common in intensive game (unless temperatures get too high of course - which may cause crashes)
  3. I take it you don't know any potential fixes then? :p I've looked everywhere myself!
  4. So my game keeps crashing (seemingly randomly) every so often - I can't play for more than an hour (varies - Sometimes 30 mins sometimes 1 hour). The only consistent factor that I can see with these crashes is that it always seems to be just before the loading screen comes up when leaving a building and 'entering' the Commonwealth... A few things to note before anyone posts solutions: it's NOT PC temps - they are all below 58 at all times, my clean Windows 10 install is only a few weeks old and all my drivers (including GPU, mobo and BIOS) are all up to date. PC Specs: Intel Core i7 6700K (Liquid Cooled), Gigabyte G1 GamingGTX 980Ti, 32GB DDR4 RAM (3000MHz), 120GB Hyper X SSD (Boot Drive), 1TB Samsung 850 EVO SSD (Game Drive), Acer Predator X34 Monitor (100Hz 1440p Ultrawide G-Sync) Any help would be great. 5. I'll look into scrap anything. How does it differ to spring cleaning? It does the same thing only uses a different method that is a lot more sane and less likely to cause compatibility problems with practically everything under the sun. Thank you - I'm using it instead now! I can finally remove those awful vines at Abernathy Farm! I agree - Scrap Everything is much better. Thanks again!

  7. Thanks - It seems like you are correct. I've moved it now :D
  8. Hello. I think I understand load order but it can't be a bad idea to get other people's thought on it right? So if someone were to check that my load order is all good I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
  9. Sorry but I did a clean install of Windows as someone thought that the Iobit Advanced System Care 'repairs' were the problem. This advice came from a user on the Bethsoft Forums where I created another question. Found here: http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1528750-fallout-3-crashes-tried-loads-of-fixes/ I have now reinstalled Windows, formatted all drives, installed all Windows updates, updated all drivers and I'm now playing Fallout 3 with no mods to be sure it works. I did actually mange to find an older save I had backed up on Google Drive (same game / character) - But how do I upload the save here??
  10. Okay so I downloaded the file and put it in my game directory.... However I crashed while trying to fast travel to Megaton (seemed to crash sooner this time) The specific error I got was: "The instruction at 0x0088503d referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate the program.
  11. Okay..... I think I followed most of that. So I take it this is a error than needs fixing? You may of said in there but how would I go about fixing? (I thought I knew a lot about PCs.... apparently not  )
  12. Thanks for the reply. Why would I hate you? It's installed in the usual Steam, Steam Apps, Common on my 'E' drive (the 1tb SSD) I have since disabled Intel HD 4600 And what does number 1 mean? Thanks again
  13. My Fallout 3 keeps crashing. This is actually driving me to the edge of insanity! Please try to help. Many thanks in advance. The game kept crashing at random times but after trying LOADS of fixes it now only seems to crash when I try to load a new area (such as going through a named door) The error I usually get is as follows: "The instruction at (code differs) referenced memory at (code differs) The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate program) My mod load order, my PC specs, the fixes I've tried and my Dxdiag are all shown below.
