  1. Actually.... somehow it started working. No errors in my GenerateFNIS log....... no consistence issues either. I'm trying to think of what I did in case that helps you at all, Glassesguy. You only mentioned missing the atronach animation, so I'm not sure how similar our issues are, but just in case. .... I read this in another forum: 1. Install FNIS inside MO 2. Inside MO open the tab Plugins in Settings 3. Click on FNIS Checker and where you see both "enable" and "sensitive" double click "false" to the right and change to true, Click OK and close the MO. Restart MO (now MO knows about FNIS). I know I did that.... and then I think I redownloaded and reinstalled the Creature pack and any other mod I thought might be fiddling with FNIS. And.... this last time I ran GenerateFNISforUsers, no errors popped up. Maybe that will help your atronach animation appear. I hope. Anyway, good luck!
  2. Did you ever resolve this issue? I'm running into a similar problem. When I run GenerateFNISforUsers via Mod Organizer (and I do have it set to run through MO) it displays this message ERROR(53): Could not find file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\data\meshes\actors\atronachflame\behaviors\atronachflamebehavior.hkx And so my FNIS never finishes generating which means I can't really get the game to operate properly.
  3. Okay, I just reinstalled everything, minus the mods. I'll tackle those once I make sure Dawnguard won't kill my game again. I am so sorry for bugging you guys. I just found out that those "other" mods you can't really help with. I thought it was safe to ask because I didn't have to worry about the piracy thing, but I didn't even think of the mods. I had no idea so don't worry. I'll get help for those ones elsewhere. Thanks for the help thus far though. :)
  4. OH! I did download some from the Steam workshop. the ones I use the most are the Overpowered Assassin bow and Lockpick pro. I bet there are others... If I try this again I might consider not using those at first. I might see if there are newer versions of those, since I acquired those mods over a year ago.
  5. Okay, you got me scared after that, Reynard131. Lol. I searched and only saw other sites talking about how running Mac on a Windows computer wasn't kosher, but I was trying to see if I really did need to worry about how I have my computer set up. Crisis averted. I bet an actual crash log would have been helpful... I'm sorry. I'll try to get one, but I think it might just be easier to reinstall everything. So I downloaded most of those mods sometime last week. I know I got them working on New Years. So the ones I downloaded from here are the only versions available. I mean, I looked to see that I was downloading the latest version, but will that not matter? If I decide to just wipe it and try again, 1) will these mods work? 2) Do I need to re-download them or can I use the ones from my download folder? If they're still in my NMM can I use them from there, or is it a good idea to remove them completely? and 3) How can I ensure that I've completely removed the game from my computer so that it doesn't pick up any bad code when I reinstall it from Steam? (<--- I feel stupid asking that, but I might as well, just to make sure I don't screw up) I guess if I go this route, I should play through Dawnguard first, AND THEN... try to mod my game again.... I suppose it would be tedious for you if I ask which mods were out of date... Can I ask if it's any of the important ones, like SKSE or FNIS or anything? And why can't I just deactivate all of the mods except Skyrim.esm and Update.esm? Is it because the whole game is "infected" or something? Okay, I'm sorry! I have a lot of questions. I really appreciate you reading all of this, chevyowner. I'm sorry it's wordy.
  6. By the Nvidia website : http://www.geforce.com/hardware/notebook-gpus/geforce-gt-650mGeForce GT 650MAccelerate your notebook’s performance by up to 4.5x with cutting-edge NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M dedicated graphics. Get GeForce dedicated graphics for amazing gaming and multimedia, plus NVIDIA® Optimus™ technology for maximum battery life. Maybe they have a MAC 650M that is a PCI-E card. Stores will do anything that makes money.. The EULA for OSX is very picky. I don't promote usage outside legal fundamental boundaries. Based upon the basic specs, sure looked and quacked like a laptop, even with 16 GB of memory.. We get so many "Hackintosh" and hacked console questions that, I'm not going to risk my membership here to be honest. Oh! The video card? From my understanding, it's not possible to custom build a mac comuputer, since everything is built into the computer itself and sealed up, or at least that's what my friend said. I asked him if it was possible to upgrade my video card. So the card just.... came with the computer when I bought it. I'm not sure how else I could have avoided using that NVIDIA card..... or am I still misunderstanding this? I can ask him for help with my game crashing, I just thought it would be a good chance to familiarize myself with the Nexus forums, and maybe to learn how to handle this myself before running to him. lol But if it's going to make people uncomfortable and if it's risky for Nexus, I can.... not ask this... I guess. I've read topics here where people were banned for any kind of piracy, so I know that it's dangerous for a mod site like this one. But as far as I know, I haven't pirated anything here, and so I thought it was safe to ask. And if there is an issue, I won't be able to discuss it until later tonight. I have work.
  7. I don't understand. I bought everything. I bought Parallels, I bought my copy of Windows 7. This is how any tech store tells you to set up Windows on a Mac. This is how the local Apple store helped me get Windows 7 on my computer (It's a desktop, not a laptop, I don't know if that's important). Parallels 10 wouldn't run on Mavericks, so sometime before Christmas I went in and bought the new Parallels when it was 40% off from the Apple store (online) and had to reinstall the copy of Windows 7 (which I bought legally) after upgrading to Yosemite. I don't understand how it's illegal, and yet stores will help customers set their computers up this way.
  8. So guess what... I found the Logs folder. My friend must have set that up for me. ^^ But I'm not sure if this is right or not. It seems short. I thought it would be longer. [01/01/2015 - 09:17:56PM] EditorPapyrus log opened (PC) [01/01/2015 - 09:17:56PM] Memory page: 128 (min) 512 (max) 76800 (max total) [01/01/2015 - 09:27:27PM] Log closed So I only activated these mods, in this load order. And it crashed when I tried to load a save BEFORE I started the Dawnguard. Skyrim.esm Update.esm Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esm Dawnguard.esm Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esm Hearthfire.esm Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esm Dragonborn.esm Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esm I don't know if that helps at all. All of the Logs are that short. This was from EditorPapyrus.0 which I read is supposed to be the most recent. {Edit} Actually, that still doesn't make any sense, I just saw the date and time in this folder... That was when my friend was helping me set up my mods. I'm sorry, that didn't help at all... I guess bedtime is my best choice for now.
  9. Issue: When I reach a general location in the Soul Cairn during the Dawnguard story, I CTD. Details: This started happening when I was in the middle of the area where you can find Serana’s mother. I finally got around that glitchy area, and then after I’d spoken with Serana’s mother I headed for Arvak’s skull, and I CTD’ed. At that point, it was no longer possible to even start my game. I began crashing on the title screen. Today I tried to get in to at least load an earlier save, and I managed to load one before I started any of the Dawnguard story, but when I try to make a new save from there, I CTD. I don’t know which crash logs to provide (and I’m new to those as well… actually, I’m not terribly tech-savvy at all). Since it crashes so often, with different scenarios, I don’t know which one would be more helpful... I also don't know how to generate those. My Computer: iMac OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 running Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac 10.0.1 with Windows 7 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5 NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 512 MB 16 GM 1600 MHz DDR3 271.24 GB free space On Windows 7 Skyrim is located C:\program files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim I’m pretty sure I have the current game version… but I can’t tell right now because I can’t start my game. I had to reinstall this a few times last week. I have: Dragonborn Dawnguard Hearthfire I use NMM, LOOT and Tes5Edit SKSE 1.7.1 FNIS Behaviors Version 5.2 FNIS Spells Version 5.0.1 SkyUI 4.1 I use the GenerateFNISforUsers often (after installing a mod) and I always Run LOOT before each start, after reordering or reinstalling things. I always click “Apply”, although I will admit I don’t know any of what LOOT tells me, I just know that it changes the Load Order and usually fixes any issues. I don’t seem to have a “details” link in my Loot window after I apply the new load order, so I took screencaps of my LOOT Order: I run a very small fraction of all of these mods. After going through it just now, I’m pretty sure this was my load order last night when I started having problems. I have since then changed the number of active mods, but it never got any better, so I’m assuming it’s pointless to activate/deactivate different mods. Notice that I did not have any of the Unofficial patches installed until last night AFTER I started having these issues. Rambly stuff: Unfortunately, this is my first post on the forums. I hope I provided enough details, and I tried to save the rambly stuff for the bottom, since I saw that the forums prefer shorter posts. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
