  1. Oh my god. This was actually the solution for my case. He wasn't fighting at all and would constantly alternate between flying in the air at clipping through the ground. He's fixed now. Thanks!
  2. I'm working on a custom body type. The body itself looks and works fine in game. I'm having issues converting armor, however. http://i.imgur.com/xrI9iYK.jpg http://i.imgur.com/faojtGJ.jpg?1 It works great, except at the neck and wrists. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? It looks fine in both outfit studio and Nifskope. Here's a link to the .nif, if anyone wants to look in NifSkope and see if they can identify what I did wrong. In outfit studio, I went to new project, and selected my new body as the reference, the vault suit as the outfit, and I moved the vault suit up to fit over it. Could this be what's causing the problem? During my first attempt, I moved the body down to fit the suit (so the vault suit was in the exact same location as the vanilla one. I also compared these in NifSkope afterwards, to be sure), and made my edits. When I loaded this up in game, my character was a floating head, but the suit itself was below the ground, and would skeletal-move as my character ran. I'm kind of winging a good portion of this, because the only bodyslide tutorials I can find just explain how to convert an outfit to an existing body type (CBBE, Jane Bod, etc), and none of them are for the male body. If anyone knows of any tutorials for creating custom bodies, I'd appreciate a link. (Also the texture on the vault suit is from the Proto vault suit mod on Nexus. Not mine.)

  4. My coordinates were wrong... I should have triple-checked them, apparently. I got this to work for spawning a custom gun in the game, too. Add the cell record to the gun's .esp. Also, if you have two plugins trying to spawn items in the same cell, only the one higher in the load order will spawn. You can still find the object in game via console codes, but it won't spawn in the same cell. In case anyone stumbles across this in the future, the method that I described above works.
  5. I'm trying to get an item to spawn in an interior cell (Fort Hagen Command Center). So far, no luck. If someone could check what I'm doing and let me know what I'm doing wrong, I'd really appreciate it. So, I snagged the ref id for the Fort Hagen Command Center from the Wiki page (000cd2ae), and used that to find the cell in FO4edit. I went under the "Persistent" tab and copied the energy weapon bobblehead as a new record into a new plugin file. I changed the "Name" to the gun that I want to spawn, and edited the X,Y,Z coordinates to where I want the gun to spawn in game. Booted it up, and it's not there. I double checked the coordinates, and those are right. Suggestions? This is just a test, but I was really wanting to spawn a custom gun from Nexus Mods in the game world, for personal use. To do that, I would need to add the "Cell" data to that custom gun's .esp as a new record, right?
  6. I know this topic is kind of old, but I stumbled across it when I was looking for the same thing. I went ahead and made a quick edit in FO4edit. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5LALVz5Sp4AbHlXREl4U2xYZm8/view?pref=2&pli=1 The only thing I changed was his "head part" from the rotten teeth to the normal one, like what the player uses. https://drive.google.com/a/mail.usf.edu/file/d/0B5LALVz5Sp4AZXE2T2hrN2pNdTA/view Note that this is incompatible with any mod that changes MacCready's appearance. Alternatively, you could use FO4edit to make a MacCready.esp plugin, then use FaceRipper to replace his head with one from a saved game. Then he'd get player teeth anyway. I promise, it's easier to do than it sounds, and then you can customize MacCready's appearance, anyway.
