  1. Hi all! I'm Nick Pearce. I run game studio Modern Storyteller, and we're making a game called The Forgotten City, which is a stand-alone re-imagining of the award-winning mod I made a while back. Our studio is growing, and we're looking for a Community Manager to join us. It's a paid, full-time role, for at least six months, and you can work from anywhere in the world. I started out modding on the Nexus, and was lucky enough to catch a break which kick-started my professional game dev career. I know from experience that the modding community is a tragically untapped pool of awesome talent, so I wanted to drop by and share this opportunity with you. If you're a content creator who knows how social media works, then you might be a good fit! The full job ad is here: https://jobs.gamasutra.com/view_my_job/post_id/34760 Oh, and if you're keen to check out how the game is looking, here's the trailer for The Forgotten City: If you know anyone who might be interested in the role, please encourage them to apply! Thanks Nick
  2. You know there are multiple endings, and about 8 hours of content, right?
  3. In response to post #61612102. Good question. The game has been designed with players of the mod in mind, and retains the elements the community told us they loved, while improving every aspect and adding plenty of surprises: Walk the streets of a brand new city. Get to know new and re-imagined characters. Sink into original lore with fresh twists and endings. Enjoy added combat and wall-climbing mechanics, an all-new orchestral score, professional voice acting, and motion capture animations. You have no idea what you're in for. :-)
  4. In response to post #61541062. Awesome, thank you! :-)

  9. In response to post #61521952. Thanks Jacob. Yes, the law degree has helped in lots of unexpected ways!
