  1. There are so many main menu replacers out there that are just cluttering up the Nexus. For those of us with no interest in them, it'd be nice to be able to browse the Nexus without half the mods on any given page being menu replacers. We also need an "anime" tag like Skyrim has, given the sheer number of anime-esque mods already up.
  2. http://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectandromeda/mods/177/? This mod looks like it does just that. Haven't tested it out yet though.
  3. ELFX, Pip-Pad, Driveable Motorcycle, The Danse Dilemma, Diamond City Expansion, Player Comments, Piper Interview Restored, Player Marriage, Subways of the Commonwealth, Pugmeat. All mods that came out in the last month that change the game in some appreciable way, or add new content, or demonstrate a high level of technical skill. If you go back three months, you can add HUDFramework (and all the mods associated with that), Chinese Stealth Suit, Combat Zone Restored, More Smarter Companions, War Machine. And none of this includes the numerous high quality settlement mods, armour mods, visuals mods or weapon mods that have come out in that time period. Nor does it include older mods that have had significant updates, or any adult mods. In short: I don't know what the hell you're talking about.
  4. Combat Zone Restored, http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21498/? and The Danse Dilemma http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21923/?, are two attempts at doing just this. Combat Zone Restored is pretty solid and I haven't had any problems with it. I've yet to check out The Danse Dilemma, but I'm quite hopeful for its prospects.
  5. On top of that, the meshes don't even look similar. Eli's is tighter, has more lines and an overall sleeker appearance, while Bethesda's is baggier and looser. Eli's also looks like it uses the slooty vault suit as a base, and uses the hazmat suits helmet and tanks. It's a very clever use of assets to create an original outfit. Bethesda's has completely original mesh. Overall Bethesda's more closely resembles the Nuka Girl on the poster with the vintage 50's styling, while Eli's looks like a more modern interpretation. They are both excellent in their own right, and serve distinct purposes. Hell, I'd be willing to bet money that Bethesda were working on the Nuka World content, including the Nuka Girl outfit, before Eli released her Nuka Girl outfit.
  6. Nuka World has introduced new hair dyes. I've got a pretty personalised HairColor_LGrad_d.dds used with Zella's Hair Dye Collection. Now, Nuka World has given us a new HairColor_LGrad_d.dds. The old one was 64x512 and it was fairly easy to see how the colours corresponded to hairstyles, but the new one is 512x64 and seems to be fairly different in how the mesh uses the texture. Has anyone played around with it yet? Edit: Turns out Bethesda Archive Extractor was the problem. Didn't realise the Creation Kit came with it's own archive extractor I should be using. Ignore all of this!
  7. I'm getting a weird issue with the 3rd person meshes for two CBBE armors (Black Widow and Sirius) after the latest CBBE update. Any idea what could be causing it? Edit: The problem apparently was the tri morphs generated by the latest version of Bodyslide. Deleting them seems to have fixed the problem.
  8. If it's not plugins or corrupt saves that's causing the issue, it could be corrupt meshes or corrupt textures. Corrupt textures are easy enough to diagnose. Just rename the textures folder in your data directory to something else, then load up the game and see if you get CTD's. If you don't, then it's an issue with one or more of your texture files, and you'll have to go through and find which one(s). If it's a mesh issue, that can be harder to diagnose. Though if you're running without any plugins, you should be able to do the same thing as with the textures. I've had the "Cannot open store for class "Patch_1_6_Script", missing file?" line in my logs too, and I thought it was causing CTD's for me, but it turns out it was a corrupt texture. So if you've installed any mods that overwrite vanilla textures or meshes, that could be the issue.
  9. Holy crap, that's the source of the CTD issue that's been plaguing me for several days now! You're a god damn hero!
  10. Hijacking this thread a bit... corrupted textures? How would I check if that's causing issues?
  11. That sounds like it could be the problem. I've been getting CTD's similar to what OP describes (I can't even walk out of Diamond City!), and before the 1.5 update everything was fine. The CTD's seem to correspond with one of the patches after the 1.5 update. I keep getting the line "Cannot open store for class "Patch_1_6_Script", missing file?" turning up in my Papyrus logs. Are you getting the same thing?
  12. Without wanting to scan through your load order (I assume you've already used LOOT to sort your load order), all I can say is I've been getting CTD's randomly as well, and I'm convinced they were introduced by one of the patches/updates. If you've done everything you can and you still get CTD's, it could just be that and we need to wait for a fix from Bethesda.
  13. I've verified the game cache, but I haven't tried disabling my plugins entirely yet. I've got so many active that disabling them would cause more issues. And for the most part my plugin setup was stable for quite a long time. I've tried disabling and rolling back the plugins I've updated and installed from around the time the crashes started happening, but to no avail. I've also tried digging around the esp's for any mods I think could be contributing, looking for clashes or errors, but haven't found anything.
  14. That does sound similar to what's happening to me. I CTD quite a bit in the Commonwealth worldspace. There are a few areas I can always get a CTD from, and others it's a little iffy. I just got a CTD from trying to leave Diamond City (crashed at the loading screen). I've tried it with numerous saves, some will just go straight to CTD (must be in a worldspace that's crashing), but even my oldest saves (with a full day less of play time) have the same problem. So I don't think it's a corrupt save issue. I'm convinced at this point it has to be a problem at Bethesda's end. In all of my Papyrus logs, I've got the line "Cannot open store for class "Patch_1_6_Script", missing file?", but I've verified the games cache through Steam. I guess I'll just have to wait for the next patch and see what happens.
  15. So I'm getting CTD's around Mass Gravel & Sand, specifically near the broken two storey store where there's always a random encounter (usually something like BoS vs. Synths or robots). I get CTD's elsewhere in the Commonwealth as well, but I've been able to guarantee a CTD there within a minute every single time. I manage my load order with LOOT, and I also check every mod I install with FO4edit to make sure it shouldn't have any incompatibilities. I'm fairly sure it's not a load order issue, as my load order has been fine for quite a while and the CTD's have only popped up in the last couple of days. The only mods I've between before I started getting the CTD's and after are Do It Yourshelf (to version 0.9.4, then version 1.0), Synth Overhaul (from version 2.0 to 2.1) and Homemaker (from 1.34 to 1.35). I've speculated that it could be Do It Yourshelf as the latest version adds some scripts. I've enabled the Papyrus logs to try and see what's going on, but they haven't helped. I'm not really sure what I should be looking for in there, or what's normal. But it could be some rogue script running or something, but I don't know how to tell what's causing the issue, if scripts are the issue. I've tried the old trick that would occasionally work for Skyrim of going to an interior cell and sleeping/waiting for 30 days so the cells can reset. Didn't help. I've also tried running the game with and without enb (to see if it's a vram issue, hasn't made any difference). I've speculated that it could be a mesh issue (missing mesh perhaps), but I've no idea how I would find out what mesh is causing the issue. So I'm getting some what at the end of my ropes. I'm not sure what further diagnosing I can do. Any help, advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. (UPDATE) I found the problem. It was a corrupt texture. For anyone else looking to see if textures are causing CTD's, rename your texture folder to something else, and load the game. If the CTD's go away, chances are the issue is a corrupt texture. From there you can isolate certain texture folders until you narrow it down. I wasn't aware that corrupt textures could cause CTD's, so if you're googling how to fix CTD's consider textures!
