I feel it would be more of a Fallout story if you didn't simply find her at Diamond City's Market, or handed to you by the institute, but that you could make a synth with Nora's memories by speaking with Dr. Amari, after the "dangerous minds" and, much like in fallout 2, once done she would follow you either you liked it or not, it would be funny too if she also interrupted you at any chance of being romantical with anybody else, but most important it would be interesting if she had problems adapting to this wasteland, and in the end (before the final mission with any of the factions) she going mad or something, making you to choose to kill her, or let her go on a rampage killing lots of people, or something else, tying it all to the end cinematic, when the SS talks about the futility of trying to reunite his family. This way he didn't fail only once to protect his wife, but twice. ​I don't know how executable that is... but I think that's as falloutesque as it gets.
