  1. Nice. Well, if you get everything working it's quite nice. This is the third time I've tried the ENB shader version .249 and it's the third time I've had to do a complete uninstall and reinstall. Hope you have better luck than me.
  2. I have the same problem. Have you figured anything out?
  3. Awesome. Got my problem figured out too. Apparently my FPS drop is coming from Project Reality depth of field.
  4. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/37576/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fnewvegas%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D37576&pUp=1 There ya go. I'm using WMX. Dunno what the difference is other than the name though.
  5. Oh ok. I thought it was BOSS throwing that error. Oh ok. I'm surprised you're not crashing on start. It sounds like you're missing and esm, but maybe it's an esp working as an esm? Mine always crashes when I load something out of order. Edit: Or maybe you loaded an esm that has a corresponding esp thats missing? I'm shootin in the dark here, never seen that before.
  6. @cccddd123 - 60% of the time it works every time :) @NicholasVickers - A lot of people have had issues running in full screen mode. Try running in Windowed mode and see if it helps.
  7. Could be a side effect from the manual install attempt. I'd try uninstalling Boss again and reinstall using the installer. I know, this is getting tedious lol. The funny thing is, BOSS creates the masterlist and stores it in BOSS\[GAME]\ directory so I'm thinking BOSS doesn't know where to look to get your modlist. Go to Settings and make sure this addres is in the Fallout: New Vegas Masterlist URL: https://github.com/boss-developers/falloutnv.git Also, make sure New Vegas is selected as the Active Game. If none of that works, I'll just upload a copy of my loadorder for you to reference.
  8. 1. I'd start with this mod: Project Weaponry.esp. There are a couple of options. A. Move it down in your load order (seems the likliest scenario is it's trying to reference something that isn't there) B. Remove it from your loadorder and load the game. C. Deactivate the mod. See if that helps. Don't forget to remove any other mods that rely on that mod. 2. You have to start the game from the 4gb executable, otherwise you just launch the game normally. Default filename is fnv4gb.exe. 3. If you're trying to load a save from when mods were installed but have now been uninstalled, it can take a long time to sort everything out or it will just crash. The game has to sync data that is in the save with what is now available. The best way to handle this is to uninstall one or two mods at a time, load the game, and save. Rinse and repeat... Keep in mind that any mod you remove will also remove any inventory items, perks, etc. But if you're just trying to get to a place to test mods, start a new game and make a save as soon as you're done with all the intro stuff.
  9. @netwit2008 - I've never had a problem with UAC either. Not sure why everyone keeps saying there's a problem there... @Sescheraun - Delete all directories where files for the game and FOMM were installed. Should be 3 locations unless you changed some things around. I use NMM and the specific file you mention is located in D:\Games\Nexus Mod Manager\FalloutNV\Install Info\ If you don't delete those files manually, they still exist even if you do a clean install (unless you install to a different directory). Edit: if you didn't do a formal uninstall of FOMM, do that, delete the directory, then reinstall.
  10. Are you running the GUI version or the HTML version? Or does Boss not run at all? Also, did you download from here? https://github.com/boss-developers/boss/releases/tag/v2.2.0 Maybe try uninstalling and then reinstalling. Could try doing the manual install if you can't get the installer to work. EDIT: By GUI vs HTML, I mean the log format... Sorry bout the confusion.
  11. You can essentially delete your "Data" folder and then have Steam redownload the files it needs. But that's like 13 gig of data... all of the necessary .esp, .esm, and .bsa files are over 8gb alone, could at the very least leave all those... Not saying I would go this route (I have and it worked fine for me, might not for you...) I'd also delete any loose files in the main game directory and the folder in your Documents\Games folder. That includes your save files so if you don't have Steam backing up to the cloud you might want to make a manual backup. Wouldn't hurt in any case... Or do like alienzerox said and use a mod manager and save a whole ton of trouble...
  12. If you're having problems, Verify Integrith of Game Cache before doint anything drastic. Might want to backup any .INI's you made custom edits to though. Yes. Make sure you have no mods installed in your game directory. Launch game from Steam. Click New instead of Continue or Load. The only save you will lose is your last autosave. And if you want to keep that, go into your (Default is Documents\My Games\falloutnv\saves) folder and copy all the files you want to a new location.
  13. I let BOSS sort out the mods it knows and then group the mods of the same type it doesn't know in the same area. Still gotta be careful about compatability patches for other mods.
  14. You don't have to uninstall. That takes forever. Right click on the game in Steam Library and click Properties. Then select the "Local Files" tab and the last button should be "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE...", click that. Steam will go off and check all your game files and replace any corrupted, missing, or modified GAME files. NOT mod files. If you've made custom edits to any GAME files, I'd make a backup of those or be prepared to do it all over again. Edit: Probably should have kept reading your post before reading suggestions... Ok try this (Windows 8.1) Open your Game folder and make sure you have the menubar visible. Click "File" tab and in the "Show/Hide" pane make sure you have two boxes checked, "Hidden Items" and "File name extension". Let me know if that helps EDIT 2: Knowing the specific .INI file you're looking for would help as well. Fallout_Default.INI isn't created until you run the game for the first time. Not sure about Fallout.INI, but it may be the same way.
  15. That's awesome, thanks! I'm normally not afraid to break things in order to learn something, but for right now I'm tired of having to fix it when I break it lol. Tried what you suggested. First i uninstalled the mod and all patches, then reinstalled the mod, NMC patch and then AWOP patch. Renamed to ComboEdition, no problems so far. If you don't mind explaining, does having both .esm just leave both sets of doors (the ones conflicting with AWOP and the moved ones)? Or would it be more like the game is creating two separate entities for ALL entries? Don't think this one is yours, but I've seen it before where two doors are stacked. I had to TCL off to go to back side of door to get in lol. I think it was Russel's quest and AWOP...
