About KaiHatia

  1. Anything new here? Just found some old stuff on google just now and asked myself "heeeey, whats going on with that....weeelll... nothing". Found a new hobby? When its in the Credo Resource pack you don't need to ask him, because obviously its ment to be a Resource pack anyway. Second off, it its in the other packs he released, the parts he uses from the other game are basicly all Property of CD Project RED and he couldn't give permission anyway. Looks anyway like he has a new hobby and there is little change he still checks messages.
  2. I just can speak for the secound game. Ofcourse you have to make decisions which path to follow and which allies to choose. And they have a bit more effect then just replaceing the City Guards. Can't be called empty at all. Also, because W2 sometimes lacks a Quest Marker or doesn't include one, while Skyrim seam to lead you by the hand most of the time, running from plot point to plot point. Also, with just a quick look at the Nexus Mods i wouldn't play that teenage wet dream sex scene card here. No doubt there is way more kinky stuff for Skyrim then Sex Scenes shown in this game. How many Hentai Outfits are there already for Skyrim? One of the points i made one page earlier is the lack of story complexity, and now you come up with this spoon fed thing? So these new generation RPGs are for Call of Duty Kiddies who lack imagination to dream themselfs into the Video Game fantasy world. Didn't see a first person mode in any of these but Skyrim. Also, i wouldn't call a lack of interest in a fictional fantasy world that i someone needed to work to explore in full detail a lack of experience in complicated world building. Especialy compared to TES, these things don't mean much. Just take the visuals for example. Morrowind the Empire is this somehow roman like force, in Oblivion it looks like southern european medieval design, and in Skyrim you are back to the first one. There is no development. At Oblivion you could have thought they let there be some sort of development within this civilisation, but nope. Also, for the lack of dialoge options i wouldn't look for the two dimensional characters way off of skyrims dragonborn. I was talking rather about the existentical threat. These weren't given in these games( yeah i know Wormking wants to be god(so much for the simplistic characters)) and even the chosen one Story is a bit wide ranged here. @thomriis Am i supposed to pick your sentences out that mess? Your posts to that topic were already a waste of time to read and so for i would ask you to move on and leave this topic. I would set you on ignore otherwise.
  3. The Thiefs Guild at first made a good impression to me. As i said, liked the more darker setting, the Pig Farm Story and the british Cockney Accent. But then the Hangover kicked in. I was disapointed that they used the heavy effect of just accents on one single guy. In Witcher2(yeah, again) the british Accents are used quite well to underline the different class structures, because this is basicly what british accent is for in real life. Peasants talk like Cockneys, makes them more authentic as the common folk. Also, when they opend the Door to their Tresure Room it just struck me. They steal all that s#*! to lock it into a Room in the Sewers and don't even check on it regularly? What are they gona do with it? Wouldn't all that thievery cause some kind of economical impact on the small Town of Riften? I was hopeing for more basic crime stuff then just breakins, like laundering some Money. I swear i thought at first this Honey Meat Brewery, or what the name was, should do that. Launder money for the Thiefs Guild. The Nightengale turn towards the end just bumed me, because i can't pull out and just have to accept. I was hopeing for the possibility to kill them all. Even in Fallout NV you have often the possibility to just kill everyone related to the Quest and cause some Chaos in Zion. The corrupt Guards who wanted Money from me at the entering(nice event) would surely help me to cover it up. Compared to Oblivion they did a better Job on the Dungeons this time, because now they tell a story each of their own. In Oblivion, when you have seen three or four max, you have seen them all. No, half cooked means half cooked. And these story lines are just a good example of half cooked. The Civil War in Skyrim feels very odd and even in the End, the Fort Conquering, becomes repetitive very fast. It misses so many elements that surround an actual war in a society like that. Even the Mustering Missions are just irrational. Instead of maybee requiering curtain Stats of Strengh and Speed or whatever, you need to go do a Dungeon and fight Ghosts. ( No Background Check.) This is something a Child would come up with when it has to concept some kind of dare. And then, nothing happens anyway. There was a mod for Oblivion where you could join the Mythic Dawn after the end of the main story and fight a war against the empire. This mod managed the whole War thing with attacks and counter attacks quite good. It felt like there was something going on even if you werent there. Half a dozen rushed half cooked stories in a single title. This is another point that adresses Children as targeted audience. The Dialoge Options are basicly very limited and it basicly doesn't matter at all what and how you say things. The rest to this design of "your own story" is picking weapons, cloathing and stats after spending half an Hour designing the Characters face, who you are playing in 3rd Person while wearing a helmet. This point plays so well into the childish attitude of self worship, just as the pictureing of Jesus as a blonde white guy. If i get served at first with a dozen half cooked stories that feel rushed i'am curtainly in no mood to dig any deeper into one of them. Especialy if i get confronted with curtain bummers. I can't judge that just as i can't judge on Dragon Age or Divinity, because i don't know these stories. No its not. Its the same old Choosen one who fights apocalyptiic evil story over and over again. Was Redguard or Daggerfall this way? No. So why is it since Morrowind necessary to have these apocalyptic battles with basicly evil Gods from the twillight zone? For me it seams they have a lack of trust in their Game World and don't think it would stand without the existencialistic threat. At this point the Defence of Skyrim goes in the direction of Hippies who wanna convice me that i should give into their religion or philosophy, and when i point out how dumb it seams to me they tell me about that i need to step outside my box. I realy don't care enough about so many things i see in Skyrim to invest my time into in-game research, just for the aha-moment. I know already that there isn't much to be found anyway. Hero slays dragon. For the politics in game of throns i can't speak because i don't know them, but for the rest the posibilities are endless. Good example is a scene from the Witcher 3 gameplay videos, where this vilage headman of this village in the swamps cuts off one of his ears and gives it as tribute to the swamp witches. And then he says something that people need to get along in this part of the woods somehow. Just this one scene showed meaning. Politics in Skyrim basicly are just odd from the village level up to the Civil War. The Jarls ask you to do basic tasks for them and the leading of an angry mob with torches to a vampires den was a nice variation. For the rest, they just didn't feel real. Hell, the first thing i would want the stranger to do is to collect taxes and rents. But noooo, we gona have to assassinate the emperor himself, because that would mean so much. Oh, the Guards even gona adress greating me on that, the Guards who are in every town now Imperial Soliders because i won the Civil War for the Empire. See how stupid this whole thing is?
  4. I never brought up the point of sex in the Video game related to an adult but you already commited the first paragraph of your post about that and how you think about it. What the hell? Don't you think if it was about that point i wouldn't already brought it up, or rather not starting the Topic after all because i would just download some BDSM Mods for Skyrim and playing with the left hand on the mouse? If you wanna have it more simple, compare Fallout 3 to Fallout New Vegas. F3 has a simplistic and linear story with an altruistic core, NV has a way more intricated story. Also it isn't about the gore. Horror can be inflicted just as good with elements that are not visual, like the pig farm story. This big farm story was authentic.
  5. No, you ain't just "pointing that out" because the spelling is exactly that very thing everyone can see for himself. You are somehow angry at me that i don't like things the way you like them and now you feel the need to piss at my cart. If you are not interessted then scram, i'am not interessted in opinions that just wanna tell me things are right how they are. If you like it how it is now, then just go on. Do your thing instead lectureing me. And just for the sake of it.... We are a society that since less then 60 years smiles when a picture gets taken. Look at the black and white pictures 100 years ago, no one smiled. Smileing is a privat face, something that you show your friends and family. Being serious is the public face, because normaly a society demands curtain archaic behavior of Men. So its totaly more likely that people in a medieval farming society would be beheaving very different towards the Dragonborn stranger when he enters their village. So it also makes sense that the Cat-Man Things aint allowed to enter the Town and everyone is a bit racist. But why do you even make this point? To tell me that things are just fine as how they are. Not interessting.
  6. This is an interessting Idea, but it would require care and maintenance, especialy when you wanna make it about the possibility loosing their gold status. But the idea is interessting. There is way to much "palace guard armor made playable" kind of mods. Okay then let me clarifie the point once more. This isn't about Skyrim vs the Witcher 2. The Witcher 2 just serves as example of another kind of fantasy story telling. And so for i'am not interessted in any meaningless "well maybee you should go witcher 2 games forums then phephephe" Statements, because it just shows that you don't get the point at all. It doesn't matter how things would work out in Tamriel. Another Friend of mine started to watch Game of Thrones a while ago, and normaly he hates the Fantasy Genre. He started to realy like it, says because the Story would still suck him in without the Dragons and Zombies and that stuff, because without these this story also could be told. In Witcher 2 you have also this Twillight kind of Realities were Monsters come out of to cause havoc, but the whole life of the average Men in this fantasy world evolve around that. They have other things on their mind then the Witcher or even the War of their Kingdoms. There is this one line this friend of me told me from the Thrones series, that the common folk just prays for Harvest and Rain and doesn't mind the shemes and games the nobility is playing. Remove the Dragons from Skyrim and what is left? Everything evolves around the dragons and the rest seams to be half cooked. And before other halfwits now go on telling me about "hey maybee you should then do Game of Thrones stuff", i would ask them to scram, because i want this to be about the more fundamental of story telling and character building. And i never read or watched any of the GoT stuff. And i think it was a great thing that proud nerds made all the development from Dungeons and Dragons Dices to 1080p Skyrim, but you don't get the point i was making. The biggest consumers of videogames are still children. If it wouldn't, Skyrim wouldn't be the way it is.
  7. The Point i make about John Lennons Imagine Song is that it virtually caricatureses the Anti-War movement. Imagine there would be no Nations and then we were all happy and peacefull and people wouldn't kill each other. It is basicly what the whole Anti-War Movement can be brought down to, a bunch of delusional people that phantasise about what the World should be instead of how it is. You just show this once more with your "War is bad" and how i'am a Warmonger Statements. You were the one who brought up Vietnam in the first place. I'am just here showing how such attitudes can backfire right in your face. Quite not exactly the cat that plays with the mouse. Seams more like the cat doesn't get a catch of the mouse and then the old, slow and clumsy cat has to go after pieces of grammar policeing and such things. figuratively sayings, speakings, call it what you want. Someone who doesn't know what the moral perimeter is and also asks alot of questions for someone who wants to lecture.... Oh this is the topic. You wanna talk Truth and College? Lets show that this Topic is a bit more twisted and complicated. Funny is how you know come up with this "oh vietnam is over maaan, its 2015 now and we shouldn't talk about this". Yeah, its 2015 now where the heroic Baby Boom Vietnam Protestors hang around in Video Game Forums where they think they can lecture anyone and play people, while in reality they are just in delusional decline and don't even know it yet, that they are already dead. I think there could be realy a Camp in the Mountains where Baby Boomer feed on the blood of the young. They became just what they thought they were not, even coming up with dictionary definitions about stuff because they are already to old to get any sort of development in the language. Is this the incarnation of crusted old structures or what?
  8. When this seriously is what you are thinking, then you have quite some problems. First off because its obviously not the case when you can't even follow figuratively speakings like the one with the Moral Perimeter, secound off a cat playing with a mouse is a very sadistical figuratively speaking to put it that way, which ofcouse isn't the case. You can't play me, no you can't. Someone who tries to throw meaningless bunk in my direction like "Warmonger" can't play me. You step in every clichee there is literlay just one post after i mention it. The "Warmonger" crybaby stuff is exactly that kind of bunk the Generation would brought up that smoked pot to John Lennons Imagine Song. And the Song is total garbage. And ofcourse i'am the Warmonger because i think the South Vietnamese were worth it defending against communism, while ofcourse the people in Hanoi or the Cadres who scrumble through the Bushes at the Border Regions ain't warmongers. And who droped the Bombs on Japan, the only act in war you seam to be schizophrenicly reckon? Curtins LeMay was a warmonger. A Warmonger ain't a bad thing, just when your moral perimeter is set up to make him a bad thing, outside the comfort zone. Seriously, you are the last one who should lecture anyone about intellectual advancement and growth. You have just the same self right attitude these damn punks had screaming Ho Chi Min Slogans at the Pro-Vietcong Protests. A quick look at how limited this attitude is.: And this is the first reply a forum member had to the start post. So who are you to lecture anyone? Oh right, youre a baby boomer that protestet the Vietnam War and did some Civil Rights stuff all by himself. Your whole act is a bad clichee, but otherwise then you do, i don't ask you to stop.
  9. Are you dropping out of your role? As so far the only one "embarrassing" himself is you, with your full serving of clichees. How am i embarrassing myself? Do you know what a security perimeter is for example? Your moral perimeter is just as set up as one divideing in good and bad. Ofcourse it does. Everything else to assume, that ones worldview is set up to be not right therefore wrong would be mad. Not one bit. You were the one who assumed i needed a book to define reality for me, which is again selfrightous and larking. I have no ground to make such things as assumptions. All i can do is assess what you feed me, which is as i said among theses trades Authors like P.J. assigned to the baby boom generation. The Rest is just, mixed with clichees, whining and bitching about what i'am and, again, more assumptions about me, like i'am some sort of conspiracy theorist. I said nothing that could suggest that.
  10. So now you are calling me a trollish person. Its okay for you when i'am the one who can't think for himself( a total unbased claim), but now a comment about the age related to immature behavior starts a big cryout. Bu-hu. This is just wailing. Another post with talking but no saying. And just for the sake i explain to you what a Moral Perimeter is: Everyone has a worldview. You for example think it was noble and heroic to protest the vietnam war, throw the south vietnamese under the bus to feel better about yourself and then, as Aurelius pointed out, demand thanking for their service to all mankind. All these things are settled in your moral Perimeter related if they are good or bad. For you the Vietnam War was bad, because maybee you think the world should be like in this John Lennon Song Imagine. For me, the Vietnam War is settled somewhere else in my Moral Perimeter, in the "things that are good" Area. Its just the same war, same actors, same actions. But i think the Vietnam War was a good endeavor, because i think the South Vietnamese were woth it. American Colonists needed Hessen and French Mercenaries, German People needed Allied bombing campaigns to kill other Germans, less good and more bad germans, for them. This is how it is, this is the reality. When i read about the Phoenix Program first, i was asking myself why didn't they start earlier and the Republic of Vietnam could have been saved like Chile. This is my moral perimeter. So when we speak about the searching for "Truth" here, everyone is looking for diffrent Things. For you the Phoenix Program would be a bad thing, evil Government secrets that have to brought to the light, because these things are bad, while for me this is just what is necessary and what needs to be done. Get that?
  11. Everything is funny, everything is a big joke, who else could even think about overcoming the great generation of baby boomers in anything. For the rest of your years you can keep this attitude, because no one would get mad at an old men when be starts to behave childish again. And yes, i'am aware of the fact that you are not realy thinking that youre a wizard. Just let me deconstruct this point real quick. You assume its obviously that i need others to define reality for me, because i recommend a Book on the subject. Again we are at the point of this self rightous narcissism the Boomers have and how they look down on everyone else. I don't need P.J. O'Rourke to define reality for me, but the fact that he wrote a book on the subject we now seam to debate can improve the life of people reading it instead of debating the whole thing over and over again. Best books were already writen, there is no real need to debate it again. And why did i even picked the Book in the first place? Because the Title already spoke to me, adressing experiences i already made. The Baby Boom: How It Got That Way... And It Wasn't My Fault... And I'll Never Do It Again . The underlined part to be exactly. Also, we see again in this point, that you wanna play a card against others who yourself would be realy vulnerable to. Do you need Rooling to define the meaning of "Truth" to you? I don't need the Book, but the book improves my own awareness toward this point. The Title spoke to me, because i know its very common for Baby Boomers like you to find excuses. When someone studies something totaly worthless, you even find excuses for that. And then you call my behavior sad, a behavior you just constructed in your head and i don't have.
  12. It is a generation of suckers that claim every improvement from civil rights issues to liberalization as their achievment while actualy contributing very little and now becoming a burden to later generations with their entitlement thinking. In GTA5 the Baby Boomers were mocked with this Altruistic Camp in the Mountains where they feed on the blood of young people, which was in my opinion a very good portraiture. Who else wants to know more about that, read P.J. O'Rourke The Baby Boom: How It Got That Way. Does someone who quotes J.K. Rooling in a philosophical debate about the meaning of truth realy wants to call the fool card on other people? As i said, read the baby boom Book. And thanks Gandalf for pictureing exactly what i made my point about. The Baby Boomer Generation is a bunch of self-righteous hedonistic suckers who try to mock everything that lays beyond their intellect. Because these things have to be dumb when someone who went to college discover himself ain't able to get it, it has to be stupid. And just for the point, the Vietnam War ended with a communist invasion of the south, a soviet and chinese armed steel roller that came down Highway Number 1 and enslaved the South Vietnamese People which lead to Labor Camps, Boat People and just more Missery. Great achievement for the baby boomer Protestors who were safe from all that back in the States. The Moral Perimeter is that was everyone has already set up in his mind, the world view he already has and where things have to "fit in". You for example are, typical of a baby boomer i would assume, try to fit things like a worthless College Degree in Mayan Art into this one thiny Niche the Market has for such Qualifications, because your Hedonistic Worldview doesn't allow the conclusion that people are no damn good and ofter their missery is a result of their own mistakes. And to round that up, you ask me to explain what "pisses me off" about poetry. Nothing and my Opinion about this when it comes to College Degrees would be meaningless anyway. But the Situation, the reality, is that these things ain't much wanted in the free market and so for there are no Jobs for these people. The Result is that these people end up in Debt, because the people who give student loans can care less about what the people study, and in the worst case then blame everyone else. At least they went to College, smoked some pot and discovered themself.
  13. If you wanna make this whole thing about your hurt feelings i would ask you to move on. Most Mods are qualitvly low, most of the nexus is dead space and there is no quality control and never will be, because we are talking about free lunch here. This is why Video Game Creation is still the sphere or professionels and huge development teams, because amateurs produce amateurish products. I'am not the kind of person that pads people on the head just because they did something. And so for i'am not interessted in your opinion about what i should do or how you feel about mine. Have fun playing your Assassins Creed squeeze. Again, Witcher is just one example i pud up. But from that standpoint it is somehow ironic, that the world which creators didn't spend so much time on developing seams to be more authentic to me, because it doesn't have this feeling of "being build". In the TES Series for example you have all these books and lore and backgroundstories that should give the whole world more depth, but at the end nothing of this stuff matters anyhow. There is no real development in this world non the less the stories jump over centuries, especialy when things have to be visual like in videogames. Best example is TES Online. It is just the same all over again and so horribly sticky to fantasy clichees. With Witcher 2 in the end, the whole thing was basicly the result of very earthly intentions broke down to conspiracy and murder, while in the last few TES Games its all about some damn prophecy and monsters coming out of the twillight zone causing the end of the world. At the point where find these notes in the talmor embassy in skyrim about that the Stormcloak Leader is one of their Assets i thought the whole story could become more depth, but shouldn't happen. All the characters are flatly drawn and everything they do lacks compleyity. Imperials are Religious Bigots somehow and Stormcloaks are Racist. Wow, what a creative way to color the shades of grey in which human conflicts are drawn. But maybee this is the wrongest point someone could criticize about the Fantasy Genre, the very one genre that lives off "Good against Evil".
  14. You know that the impression that College is there for that you can "discover yourself" and search for the higher meaing just goes around since the Baby Boomers went there, did a loot of drugs and "discovered themselfs". The Governour is totaly right about that. A College is a Training Facility for the Requierments of the Market. It isn't there for that Nobodies can study 16th Century old english Poetry, Mayan Art and Gender Studies to "discover themselfs" and then end up in debt while bitching about, that they can't find a job. You can't find a job with a diploma in Mayan Art? Well what a shocker. Seriously, this is exactly the kind of low spirited attitude this pot smoking "discover yourself" past formed up to. Big scandal ahead, government "doesn't you to search for the truth". Everyone who isn't a total Moron knows that Governments are lying and they are fine with that. Why? Because its often better than expect these people to handle the truth. And even if a big scandal would come out, people wouldn't care. Bit besides that, this government coverup Nonsense has little to do with what the Governour imposed. People ain't searching for "truth". They search for explanations that would fit an already settled moral perimeter.
