  1. Could be used as part of a gauntlet model, attached to the palms of the hand, along with stats that increase overall damage. Then you'd just unequip any weapon and start swingin' your (now bladed) fists at the enemy. Would look kinda fun on dialogue hand gestures though.
  2. So basically you ask "help please?" Why do we then have to ask "With what?" Be more specific, and maybe a little more coherent. What file did you download? What file ending was it supposed to have? What does it look like after the download finished? etc
  3. Hey there been a while since I tinkered with FO3, but I think you need to manually add a 1st person entry. You do that in the GECK under World Models->Static. Create a new entry, name it 1stPersonFrostmourne (or something like that) and link the model to the .nif file. I personally can't understand why there's no Frostmourne for FO3 yet. There's a batch of awesome-quality ones for Oblivion, but sadly I'm not skilled enough with NifSkope to convert them to FO3-versions, else I would've done that. So yeah, basically a request. Can you either send me your model (assuming it works), or can somebody convert those nifty Oblivion models to FO3 format? Pretty please? I know it's "out of character" for a medieval sword to be in a scenario like FO3, but it's Fantasy altogether, no matter if it's SciFi or actual Fantasy... PS: Necro for a worthy topic.
  4. Their game engine got WORSE and more prone to crashes while development advanced. That's rather flawed programming I'd say. Sure, more code, more potential error. But I don't recall that many other engines that deterioated like that. In fact, only one... Stalker's xRay Engine. But that's Stalker... [Disclaimer: I'd probably still buy their next game if I like it, I just also happen to like to discuss]
  5. bInvalidateOlderFiles is a line in the Fallout3.ini. Defaults to 0, but is required to be set to 1 for using mods that alter already existing stuff in the game. Some people have reported problems (namely, crashes) when they set that line to 1. Sadly, there's no solution so far and these poor fellas have to actually play FO3 without ANY kind of mods. Not sure if OA fixed it, but I somehow doubt it. Check your Fallout3.ini (My Documents/My Games/Fallout3) and search for it, make sure it's set to 0.
  6. Let's rule out the basic stuff... Drivers new enough? No mods installed? bInvalidateOlderFiles set to ZERO? No other 3D applications in the background? ... GPU not damaged in any way?
  7. Sounds like the model's missing a texture. Check if you placed the textures in the right folder. The Fallout.ini is by default located in your My Documents folder, under My Games\Fallout3.
