  2. I've seen mods that allow for jarrin root to be grown, but that feels too OP. I really you appreciate a mood that adds a Jarrin Root plant to a remote hard to access location that replenishes itself not too often. Also an alchemist who would speak of such location. The location would have to be reached by foot, no fast travel.
  3. I would love a mod like that. Skyrim already has hawks in it. All we require is a modder that uses makes a spell that transforms the player into a hawk(slightly bigger than the hawk in game :P ) and the flying script used for flying as dragon OR nephalin's mod. It would just perfectly fit in a general mage or Druid like build. Plus once it is done it could be easily manipulated to fit new meshes of Owls , Eagles, ravens... crows.... whatever... it would also make an awesome addition for a future "become Hagraven/raven mod"
  4. Can a mod modify itself?? One way to do this is if a mod could modify its own files. What I mean is that you would have to add your current character to a database of characters of the mod. The mod would give you options like what factions is your new "npc" meant to be, is he friendly? and would also facilitate giving the npc routines if chosen so. The mod would then save the character into a database including its armor and everything else that is essential part of it. When starting a new game the player would either have that old character instantly added to the game or it would have to be summoned and set an area to stay for example.
  5. hello guys!! I am very new to modding and im trying to create a new spell of AOE ward. I wanted to use the ward that shows in the college during the eye of magnus quest, but i can find that effect. Ive found the sound but not the effect itself, which im not sure if it is a spell or object. does anyone know the name/ID for that? or have an idea of another similar effect that could be used instead?
  6. Hello everyone. I know there have been other suggestions of more powerful ward spells but I have a more carefully described idea. Master Ward spell-Magnus Ward School of restoration Casting animation:master spells spell effect: an aoe ward that will block spells and projectiles but not melee attacks. It provides no armor. An optional is increased magicka regeneration for allies inside the ward. Position: the ward will be fixed to the position where cast, similar to the blizzard spell. Spell animation:eye of magnus ward cast by Ancano. Quest linked:yes, it can only be obtained after finishing the college quest line. The spell is overall similar to the spell cast by the elf in ''Lord of the rings:War in the North'' This spell would create a safe heaven while not being OP due to not blocking enemies from entering and perming melee attacks. Powerful when combined with other master restoration spells.
  7. Actually I believe herself mentions she has many big friends in the empire. She also has shipments in Solitude and she was well connected at the Thalmor Embassy party.... Also she is BFF with thieves guild, has now a meadery in Whiterun and is close friend of the Battleborn family. and not so important but I believe she would also have good relationship with the Jarl of Falkreath.
  8. Hey Russian2012 Thats great. Only problem I would have with that, and many other mods out there, is that you seem to be adding MANY things to a single mod. I would recommend a package of mods that compliment each other, so that if people want some aspects of your mod but not others they can get it partially. For example I am not fan of draconian races and I don't really need player houses. Yeah 30 NPCs are really a lot already, but if the game could spam waves of 15-20 NPCs at a time that would be more than enough. It could come in waves arriving at a port of coming out of a fort door. It needs to be simple and Fun. I see mods out there like Tundra defense... WAYYYYYYYYY too much on that to learn and to get done. Ultimate Castle defence seems to be getting the hang of it but its also trying too hard. Upgrading units is something nice but having to position them with so much precision is boring.
  9. It wouldn't be lore friendly. Drinks are an expensive and lucrative good in Skyrim. So much that Maven gets her fortune from the Black Briar Mead, and she won't allow it to be sold anywhere. There is a lot of competition going on with all the meads and wines. The only way I see it working is that if it would be in solitude, as a secret place inside the docks or even maybe as part of that ship that smuggles drinks. This would be an underground sort of shop with limited access and you would have to gain your right to enter there because it must remain a secret place. probably only thieves guild members would have access.
  10. Hi, I have been looking around but haven't been able to find it. I wish there were a mod that would create a fort type of mini game where you either defend of invade a fort and there are MANY waves of enemies. I feel like with the general fort there are such a limited amount of enemies that I finish forts too quickly. I want more archers showing up, more enemies per room. Make it something it is not easy to finish. Similar to the civil war overhaul that I've seen around but something I can start more often. Maybe a boat that needs to be taken to an Island where bandits or high elves have taken over a fort and I need to clean it up. This mod would be specially interesting for fast shooting archers. Where you have to shoot a large number of enemies, avoid incoming arrows and re-position yourself to avoid direct melee contact.
  11. Hello, I have been looking for such a mod and couldn't find so I came here to suggest. The problem is that as a sneaking character it looks ridiculous that when u cast an illusion spell it displaces all items around. In my idea illusion spell should be something that affects the mind... so WHY IS IT MOVING OBJECTS?!?!? basically I would like a mod that makes illusion spells NOT move objects. When considering the huge range of a master illusion spell.. its really annoying to find a whole dungeon has its items messed with.
  12. Hello Guys, I've got a AWESOME idea for a lore friendly mod that would be effect to many play styles and could add some real spark to the game. Basically it is hunting pets. an Eagle or a f[/background]ox (thats the smallest land thing i thought of that is trainable). But what are they useful for?? When released they cast "aura whisper". The eagle would give a great range and can only be released outdoors, the fox has a smaller range but it can be also used indoors. It would be interesting if the casting of aura whisper is NOT immidiate, giving some sense of reality. And your pet should wander around a bit. You cannot carry both at the same time and you must borrow them from a hunter, AND you will only have access to them after a quest. I suggest after Kyne's trials. This would be great for many gameplays specially archers, rangers, assassins, and thieves. The pet releases/calling would be used like a special power. Not sure if it is possible but to get the eagle to land on the arm, the animation for holding torch would suit it.
