Outdoors weather indoors ? Need assistance
Oisinmcg replied to Oisinmcg's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Fix: Natural Skyrim Rain was the issue, I went and searched around the interweb a bit more and discovered more than a few reports with the exact same issue. Uninstalled and it fixed it. Still doesn't explain the snow though. -
Outdoors weather indoors ? Need assistance
Oisinmcg replied to Oisinmcg's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Update: The weathers have been switched some how, Indoors weather only occurs outdoors whereas outdoors weather now only occurs indoors. -
Okay, so I have been messing around with ENB a lot recently and I finally decided I would just use climates of tamriel instead. So I enabled the UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics in enblocal.ini and began to play on as I would normally. But now I have noticed a very very disturbing bug, when it begins to snow outside in the tamriel worldspace, no matter how deep into a dungeon you are, it also begins to snow... and I mean snow, the particles come down through the roof of the cave or dungeon and all the ambient noises associated with a snowstorm in skyrim begin. The same goes for rain... Please help ? Thanks ? Okay? No? Weird right ?

So, I installed Dragon Combat Overhaul and I didnt like it. Then, making a huge mistake, I uninstalled it half way through the game. Nothing majorly bad has happened except that everything in the mod still stays in game. The dragons sliding on the ground and falling out of the sky. And I get a strange bug where whenever I leave an interior world space into skyrim/solstheim a dead dragon spawns above my head and drops onto me. Anyone know how I can manually remove this mod ? Thanks,

So, I installed this mod at the start of a new play through thinking 'hey that looks cool'... and then I started playing. At the least I didnt like it, the stupid trails of dirt and where the dragons crashed... not the best. So I made a mistake, a mistake I have since read a lot more about and am much more aware about now. I uninstalled this scripted mod mid-way through the game. NMM says it is completely uninstalled but the game tells a different tale. All the features of this mod are still active. Is there a certain procedure I must follow to manually erase this mod and its scripts from my game ? Anyway long story short, does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thank you, much appreciated

So, I installed the mod. All seems to be going well, all the main features are working fine but the weapon values have not changed from vanilla. All the armors have changed value/statistics but not the weapons ? is there a patch I can install to fix this. Note: I do not use any weapon/armor mods with my game just vanilla items.
-
Right, I solved the problem. First I reinstalled everything skyre related. Second, I re installed the Skyre main file and the reproccer only. If you are not using any mods that add weaponry/armor to the game the compatibility patches and updates simply break all the vanilla statistics ! Leave them out from the final installation unless of course you are using mods that add weaponry/armor the the game like immersive weapons/armor do. Thank you and GOOD NIGHT HALALUYA

Here for example I am looking at my current iron armor, the rating of which is 65. Right next to it in my inventory is banded iron armor(normally better in vanilla than default iron) with a rating of 35! What the f*#@ ?
-
Yeah I ran that, what other things could cause this error ? Any idea ?

Hello, I recently installed Skyre, everything main seems to be working well except for the damage models on the armor and weapons. For example, the long bow is still doing 7 damage and the hunting bow is doing 20-something ? And the steel armor is now at a value of 87, but the steel armor with pauldrons now is at 32 ? Anyone else having these problems and can it be fixed ?

So, I am aware that there are mods out there in the community that fix all the damage as a result of the civil war, now what I am asking is for something a bit more immersive I guess. I've seen before in mods that involve restoration of buildings etc, animations that make the npcs look like they are actually doing work. I'd love to see somebody have these animations imported into one of the fix civil war damage mods and have the townsfolk repair the town over the next couple of days after the battle. Have a sort of community clean up week for the townsfolk and change their routine for that one week maybe ?

Skyrim crashes on start or game breaking bugs appear
Oisinmcg replied to chosenswan's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Have you any mods that come with a patch for the a certain dlc ? If you have one that does and you do not have that dlc you will CTD immediately upon startup, Happened to me a fair few times after running BOSS so have a look, if not sorry pal dont know what is causing the problem!! -
Hello, I have been looking around to try and find a mod that creates a market stall that your wife actually leaves the house and goes to, to sell her produce. I have always found it strange that your wife provides you with gold from an imaginary source. If someone could possibly create a schedule that your wife will follow each day. For example, leaves the house and heads to market, stands behind market stall for the day, returns home with money from sales. Just a very simple yet immersive way of making the marriage system in skyrim worth-while. A new market stall per village/city would need to be created for her to go to. Simple yet effective, anyone up for the job ?

Hello , I recently updated my nexus mod manager to 0.46 after I could not connect to nexus login servers. Everything was working just dandy until my mods tab on my skyrim mod manager just dissapeared. I cannot access or even see any of the mods I have installed and I have tried downloading another different mod but my download manager is non-existent too ! HELP ! This is seriously pissing me off and I cannot for the life of me figure out what the hell happened to the mod tab and the download manager ! urgent matter , please reply ! Sorry I cant attach a image of the file because NEXUS is a very poorly maintained site which only allows links to images not actuall imaages !

Choosing a graphics card for the next generation of gaming !
Oisinmcg replied to Oisinmcg's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Bus width effects the ammount of VRAM that can be accessed effectively on the card. You can get pretty cheap 2gb cards for 50 euro but you will find that you get the same performance as the 1gb card due to the very low bus width. Bus width is like an arm, the larger the arm the more you can reach. -
Choosing a graphics card for the next generation of gaming !

Wow, sweet -
So... The next generation of gaming has arrived and you may begin to notice your system is under stress, This stress is generally placed upon the graphics cards. So, A good graphics card capable of running the next generation games is a costly item. Coming in at around 300 euro and upwards. Whether it be Nvidia or AMD, both companies produce great cards that have amazing performance on the next gen games but the value for performance is hard to dictate. Nvidia may produce 4gb and 6gb cards but the true thing to look out for (As I only recently discovered) is the bus-width. Most nvidia 4gb cards come with a 256-bit bus-width which is capable of accessing the 2-3 GB of VRAM in the card but that extra GB is being unused. This is not the case with AMD cards , most of their cards come with a bus-width to match the VRAM size so accessing all the memory is no problem. For example, take a Gtx760 3GB and a R9 280x. The Gtx760 has a total of 4gb video memory and a 256-bit bus width, the base clock is 1085mhz and a boost clock of 1150mhz. Now, the R9 280x has a total of 3gb video memory and a 384-bit bus width, the base clock is 1100mhz and the boost clock is 1150mhz. From the above, you would seem to think that the 4gb gtx760 would have much better performance for price but that is not the case. In benchmarks, the R9 280x over-performs it on all occasions with sometimes a difference of 10-15fps. Im not trying to demote Nvidia, they make brilliant cards and all have brilliant performance but what I am trying to say is that AMD have much better cards at cheaper prices. In Ireland, where I am, The nvidia gtx760 costs 325 euro, where as the R9 280x is coming in at rougly 270-290 euro. Basically what I am really trying to say to people who are considering making an upgrade, take all the specifications into account and do not just go with the brand considered to be the best. Best of luck to all those upgrading for the next generation games.

Sorry for the long delay on reply , I use ENBoost which helped performance and stability a lot! Other than that , not many mods I have tryed work wonders for performance so for me , I am just going to upgrade my graphics card and get some high performance RAM and possibly an new intel 6 core processor.

Building a gaming PC specialized for Skyrim.
Oisinmcg replied to Dovahking96's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Well , with a 750£ budget I would recommend the following specs: 1)Graphics: Gigabyte GTX660 2GB dedicated VRAM , price = 165£. 2)Ram: Corsair dominator platinum 8gb , price = 175£ 3)Proccesor : This choice is up to you , 2 core or 4 core both will work well with the above components. 4) Motherboard : Gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3 , It is a good motherboard. I use it with 8gb ram (not overclocked +1gb Asus graphics card and an AMD quad core processor and get rougly 40 frames per second) With the above specs or better you would easily get at least 50-60 frames per second using climates of tamriel and possibly ELFX. Running an ENB ? Im not sure , my system can get 20-25 frames with an ENB installed on ultra settings. Good luck with building your pc ! -
I dont have a low end pc , I acutally am running on 8gb ram , 4.4ghz quad core processor and a 1gb dedicated graphics card which runs the game at roughly 30-40 frames with 15+ graphical enhancement mods , but I did have a massive hit when I used grass on steroids...... Hialgoboost is still an option I am considering now that I have heard so much about it ! Thanks for the reply though.

Hello , I would like to know if having a proper load order increase the performance of the game and whether or whether not I should download and install BOSS ? Just a simple question , if anyone knows leave a comment. Thanks!
-
Hello , I want more performance from the game , looking for mods that actually increase performance and do not decrease quality ! Any suggestions leave them in the comment section. P.s. I dont really want to hear about how these "grass" mods like grass on steroids that give you performance boost , they in fact drop your fps by around 25 frames...... Thanks
-
Wow , thats a major glitch or code error I think...
-
Graphics and ram is enought but you need at least a 4ghz processor ! I run with a 4.4 quad core , 1gb dedicated graphics and 8gb RAM and I get around 35-40 frames with climates of tamriel , purewaters and many more graphical enchancement mods

Hello , been having problems with the depth of field in my skyrim. I have ENBoost installed and all I want is depth of field , I turn it on and the focusing is all messed up. The object in the foreground is blurred and the object in the background is perfectly clear. When I look at the background the forground still stays blurry until I go at least 5 feet from it. Is this a problem in my Skyrim.ini or ENB series / local folder ? Please help if you know anything about this stuff :) Thanks
