If you only work with free mods, what do you care if a small percentage of mods slip through the cracks and make a few bucks on your work? I mean...put your pride down and think logically. Are you really SO petty? Now, if it was a wildly successful mod that made a high amount of money that's a different story....but those impostors will be easy to spot simply by being successful.

Most users downloading mods from nexus expect them to be 100% bug free, expect not to have to read ANY documentation, and expect them to work with their latest random big boobs mod. A REAL playtest is controlled and performed by those with the knowledge and motivation to give constructive feedback. i.e. people you know and trust.

"You don't want to waste your time and energy to give away stuff ? --> You don't mod. It's as simple as that." Not true any longer. Now you can transmute those hundreds or thousands of hours into real compensation for your work. Many of us believe it's a good thing.

Seeing as Skyrim itself is no longer updated, it's pretty hard for any reasonably recent mod to go "out of date". Now, it can become incompatible with other mods you use, but that's not the modder's fault.

  7. I would like the option for a subscription-based donation to a specific mod, please, that allows me to automatically donate a specific amount per month. Obviously it wouldn't be a requirement, but would be a nice option. Hopefully paypal can work that way or some other cash transfer method? Thanks!
  8. The list is like a list of my required mods. The only one missing is Enai :(
  9. At the end of the day, an author's mod is their own hard work. The time invested belongs to no one but them. They should have the right to determine who has the privilege of downloading their work.
  10. Probably the biggest feedback I can give you is this. You're an amazing mod author, creative genius, and insane script wizard. BALANCE is was seperates Apocalypse from other magic mods. Don't get me wrong, Apocalypse isn't balanced....but it's a heck of a lot closer than any other spell package. When you're adding or changing new spells please keep an eye on the balance and interaction of the spells. Does it trivialize encounters in Skyrim? I remember a long, long time ago when Apocalypse was new, I used Talon Strike on a Dragon in the distance and 1-shot him. After that, I felt I couldn't use the spell anymore. Sure, I solved my balance problem by not using the spell....but the better solution is allowing us to take advantage of your awesomeness while still retaining something approaching a vanilla difficulty (which we can then adjust with mods or difficulty sliders) Spells that throw multiple (or even 1) actors up in the air and leave them vulnerable to everything else you could want to throw at them are prime examples of overpowered spell mechanics. Keep being awesome!
  11. I use BYOG and love it. Unfortunately, it only lets me adjust health by 25 points per block. Not something as fine tuned as 4 or 5. If it did, I suppose I could disable stat gain on level up via uncapper and manually set them via BYOG every level but that's not possible due to the large blocks BYOG works in.
  12. This sounds like something relatively simple. I'm sure a mod exists for it or a way to change it myself, hence I'm not posting in the mod request. I'd like the game to raise my health, magicka, and stamina all at once no matter what I select on level up. I'd like to be able to set how much it goes up (I'm thinking 4 each). I searched Nexus pretty hard but the closest I could come was auto perks/stats/level which I don't think will do what I want it to do. Does this exist? I have uncapper but I don't think that will do it... Thanks in advance!
  13. Anyone know of a mod or .ini tweak that adds something that could jokingly be called accuracy to aiming with spells in 3rd person? Thanks!
  14. So I have a spell pack mod I want to use maybe a dozen spells from. Problem is it has a few hundred. I want to delete the unused spe lls from the mod entirely or at least not see their spellbooks. Can I just delete the spellbooks in the ck? Will that mess up vendors and loot lists? What's the easiest solution? Thanks
  15. Dumb, basic question: Let's say I download a mod but want to change something about it for personal use. I can open the mod in CK but when I try to save it, I can't save it to the same mod because it says it's a Master or In Use. Do I have to create a separate .esp for my modified mod? If so, I would only use that new .esp and not the old one anymore, right? Thanks!
  16. So I'm thinking of making a mage that focuses on conjuration and illusion. I looked up the illusion spells and it seems the Master level spells top out against opponents level 25 or lower. Does anyone know if this scales with your level? I intend on being higher than 25 for a good chunk of the game. Thanks in advance!
