Just like with the lockpicking in fallout4 and skyrim... at some Point this Breaching becomes really ... anoying. Now the thing I'd like to see: - If you want to breach something >your int: Minigame - If you breach something <= your int: Skip Minigame Sounds simple, but hell, I haven't found a way to do it. So maybe someone with a clue can do it?

ncr veteran ranger armor pip pad meshes
chillshock replied to ravager04's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
I'll just necro this - no one made a mesh I recon? Or is just no one talking about it anymore? -
I'm looking for a mod or mods that replace the dark brotherhood and thieves guild "uniforms" with plain clothes or variations of ordinary clothes. Uniforms just don't make ANY sense to me in those "lines of work".

Hah! I guess if it was allowed, we'd have the whole fo76 arsenal withing fo4 already.
-
There are some good elements in fo76 that I could see as fo4 mods. If doable. - The condition system would be ok. Repairing weapons and armor every now and then would be cool. We are already doing it to power armor pieces... so... maybe? And... hm... nope. Don't know anything else constructive to take from fo76 (that isn't available as a mod already). Maybe someone will get the scorched added to fo4. You know... really REALLY anoying pseudo-ghouls everywhere. xD

That would be grand. /subbed

What's the point of Damage Resistance?
chillshock replied to TheOriginalEvilD's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
That means... those 50 DR are the exact same as if it came from Armor? That makes the perk pretty much complete and utter trash. Well, good thing that I never put any points in it. xD -
So the Creation Club just launched...

Thanks for reminding me to turn off update until f4se is updated, too. -
What's the point of Damage Resistance?
chillshock replied to TheOriginalEvilD's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Interesting. I'm playing for a LONG time, and I too have thought about the point of stuff like the toughness perk's 50 DR. I'd love to understand the way DR and armor rating and perks interact. Say: I get a DR of 50 from the toughness perk and ~500 Armor Rating from my PA... and am getting hit by a 350DM projectile. What am I calculating in what order here? -

Uhm. What? I've seen some youtube about the release... I can't find it anywhere in my game or the launcher... or the site. But then again... WHAT THE EFFING F? If they charge 5 bucks for a power armor paint, what would something like sim settlements cost? 5000? More? -
I'd love to get my hands on a mod that changes the LL and/or meshes of the various "warm climate" clothes for NPC, such as the harnesses and all those short-sleeve clothes, to some that are suitable for a winter playthrough. I have actually started on trying to understand the whole LL system, but that ended with more naked people running around so far. xD Maybe someone with more knowledge and time would be willing to write a mod like this?

Just reporting: I actually managed to solve this. I had to create a standalone version of each part of combat armor specifically spawning with bos-paint, but it works. What cost me a lot of time was UCO messing with the whole CA spawning system, as it seems. So, now I'll have to live without that mod until I find the motivation to make my little bos spawning mod and UCO compatible. For now I'm a happy little player. :D

So, now I'm looking to create some outfits and only later mess with leveled lists. I think my chances are better of finding howtos and tutorials about how to create some custom outfit then specifically for making my own leveled list. PLUS complete all-in-one-outfits should be a lot easier to spawn using console commands. But let me tell you: Either I'm totally dense, or this combat armor thing is killing me. How on earth do I set it to the correct paintjob/material? I got the logo set up... but the darn thing isn't looking BOS at all. Well, I'll continue this battle another day. And one day I'll be able to equip guards equipped just like the default BoS soldiers you can meet out in the field... Does anyone have a pointer of how I'd go to create a standalone "BOS Combat Armor" in CK? Because that would help a lot, already. Basically just a default Combat Armor with the bos paint applied. I need to check that the next time I have time to mess with this.

I've been looking at finding out how the various guards are getting spawned in JTBryants Sim Settlements addon. Those seem to follow very strict rules, and still their gear uses custom painjobs, if installed. Meaning it must use a combination of specific vanilla items. If I only knew what records exactly I'd have to look at. The object templates contain all options for combat armor, yet every guard spawned has the same combination of i.e. "heavy right shoulder, medium left"

Hi. I'd love to be able to spawn complete combat armor sets of specific configurations for my settlers. Mostly for RP reasons (i.e. BoS soldiers at boston Airport). Now, I've yet to figure out how to exactly approach this and am only totally certain that creating the items via console without going 'spawn->drop->amod->pickup->trade' every single time isn't really the way to comfortably do this. - Do I need to create a template of some sort? - Do I need to change leveled lists? - Do I HAVE to create (and learn from basically nothing) a mashup of the bos uniform + combat armor pieces? I keep looking at mods that add NPC wearing proper gear to find out how on gods earth this is being done and not having them spawn in default-combat armor of random sizes... Just, I don't really know what exactly I am looking for. I'd be really happy about some pointers.

It's a "small wish" of mine, with no animation or great artwork requested, but since I finally managed to get myself to do an institute playthough I got this stuck in my head: The courser uniform (since that's basically one of my chars primary functions) sadly doesn't work correctly in 1st person as it's got the "missing sleeve" thing going. And since I'd really like to wear my gloves from another mod, these might as well be dropped in the process. Ideally everything else should remain compatible to recolors. Should anyone be willing to provide this, I'd be really happy. Thanks!

I wasn't able to find anything like this, so far. Point me to mods, if you know any. I would like - for an institute playthrough - to have 'synth eyes' for my player character. But in a way that doesn't turn the eyes of random NPC into them as well. Basically 'just' an additional set of eyes for showracemenu or looksmenu. Thanks for any hints or a mod that does this.

Oh dear lord, yes. If some day f4se allows: - no drinking and looting on the same key - no sitting and looting on the same key Basically a seperate looting key. -.-
